Thirty Years of "The Kids in the Hall"

In 1988 in Toronto, Canada, the sketch show named after its troupe, The Kids in the Hall (1988), first aired on HBO. The show was unique in many respects - it came from Canada, featured characters who were largely weirdos and eccentrics, regularly dressed its members in drag and, at a time when it was verboten, embraced LGBTQ stories, characters and performers. After the show ended, the group reunited for their film, Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy (1996).
