Although born in Hollywood, John and his twin sister Johanna were raised in Whittier near Los Angeles. His parents were Jewell Mae (Risley), an art teacher, and Paul Eual Lasseter, a parts manager at a Chevrolet dealership. His mother's profession contributed to his interest in animation and particularly the Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck cartoons which he would watch on television. It was when he was in High School that he realized that he could have a career in animation and he wrote to the Walt Disney Studios but nothing happened then In 1975 the Disney company started an animation course at Calarts - The California Institute of the Arts- and John, with encouragement from his mother, was one of the first to sign up. He and his class mates, who included the future animators and directors Brad Bird, and Tim Burton were taught by some of Disney's veteran animators such as Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas. During his time there John produced two animated shorts - Lady and the Lamp (1979) and Nitemare (1980) - which both won the Student Academy Award for Animation. On graduating in 1979 John was taken on as an animator at the Disney Studios. In 1983, while working on Mickey's Christmas Carol some friends invited him to see some footage of Tron that they were working on using CGI and he immediately saw the potential of it to enhance animated films. John and a colleague made a short test film and satisfied with the result and full of enthusiasm started work on a feature without consulting their superiors who when they found out about it canceled it and sacked John. Having made contacts in the computer industry he was quickly taken on by Lucasfilm which was bought by Steve Jobs for $5 million with a further $5 million invested as working capital and the company renamed Pixar. John soon convinced Steve that the future lay in computer animation by bringing his desk lamp to life in the short 'Luxor Jr' which was shown at a computer graphics conference and got a standing ovation. The first computer animated feature soon followed in the form of 'Toy Story' winning John an Oscar for Special Achievement to go with one he got for Animated Short Film - Tin Toy. He's also had Oscar nominations for Animated Feature - Monster Inc and Cars, Original Screenplay -Toy Story, Animated Short Story - Luxor Jr while the short Knick Knack was selected by Terry Gilliam as one of the best 10 animated films of all time. In 2008, he was honored with the Winsor McCay Award, - the lifetime achievement award for animators. He oversees 3 animation studios - Pixar, Disney Animation and DisneyToon He spent 9 year (2005 - 2014) on the board of governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, only relinquishing his seat due to term limits. Montgomery was born Poppy Petal Emma Elizabeth Deveraux Donahue in Sydney, Australia, to Nicola (Montgomery), a market researcher and executive, and Phil Donahue, a restaurateur. She was raised in Sydney. Since the age of 12, Poppy had a near obsession with cultural icon Marilyn Monroe.
Her parents had named each of their five daughters after a flower and, after a time, the name "Poppy Petal" attracted so much derision from fellow students that she left school at the age of 14. At 16, she left home to travel abroad and, at 18, she traveled to America.
In Los Angeles, penniless and with a copy of "How to Make it in Hollywood", Poppy adopted her mother's maiden name as a stage name and made daily contact with Julia Roberts's agent who told her he did not handle unknowns but arranged for her to be signed with another agent.
After various minor roles, Montgomery got several breaks in 1996. She had guest appearances on TV series NYPD Blue (1993) and Party of Five (1994), she got a regular part in the TV series Relativity (1996), and she won a starring role in the TV movie The Cold Equations (1996). Her career has been on an upward climb ever since.
In 2001, Montgomery won the dream role of her lifetime. CBS was looking to create a TV mini-series based on author Joyce Carol Oates' novelization of the life of Marilyn Monroe (the series was titled Blonde (2001)). Poppy's greatest wish was fulfilled when she got cast as her childhood idol. When she told her family that she'd won the role, Poppy's mother blithely commented "Well, you've been rehearsing for it your whole life". Her portrayal won critical acclaim.
In 2002, Montgomery joined the original cast of the soon-to-be-successful TV series Without a Trace (2002). She has a lead role portraying FBI agent Samantha Spade. Montgomery shared the cast's 2004 SAG Award nomination for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series.- Actress

Ryan Ochoa grew up in Southern California where he began his acting career at 5 years old. He has always loved to entertain family and friends since a toddler, imitating WWE Superstars including Dwayne Johnson, which to this day is still one of his favorite actors and biggest inspirations.
Ryan booked his first commercial audition then got his first national commercial for "Dairy Queen" at 8 years old. He caught the acting bug and went on to do more national commercials, one in particular with his two younger brothers Robert Ochoa and Raymond Ochoa, who were in the spot with him.
He began to expand his career by booking his first theatrical role in a short film, which led to a couple indie features and went on to land his first feature film The Perfect Game (2009) opposite Clifton Collins Jr., Cheech Marin, and Academy Award Winner Louis Gossett Jr.. The film was a true story about the 1957 Mexican Little League team from Monterrey, who were the first non-U.S team to win the Little League World Series. Ryan portrayed the catcher Norberto Villarreal, and to this day, he remains good friends with most of his cast.
His big break came in 2008 when he was cast in the motion capture film A Christmas Carol (2009) written and directed by Academy Award winning director Robert Zemeckis and starring Jim Carrey and Academy Award winner Gary Oldman. Ryan had multiple credited roles in the film including the voice of Tiny Tim. After production ended, Ryan ended up working for Mr. Zemeckis on two more movies he was producing, including Mars Needs Moms (2011).
He then was cast as Chuck Chambers in a re-curring role on Nickelodeon's hit show iCarly (2007) as the nemesis to Spencer. A year later Disney came calling...
They cast him as a series regular on Disney XD's Pair of Kings (2010). Ryan played Lanny, the disgruntled, bitter cousin to the twin kings, where his main goal was to steal the throne. He was on the show for 3 seasons where he appeared in all episodes produced.
His first leading role in a film was with Universal/Disney in the movie Mostly Ghostly: Have You Met My Ghoulfriend? (2014).
In 2012, Ryan formed a music "hip-hop-hype" group with his three brothers Rick Ochoa, Robert Ochoa, and Raymond Ochoa, the "Ochoa Boyz." They have toured the U.S. performing at hundreds of concerts and private events. Their music can also be heard in several of the movies Ryan and Raymond have starred in. They write, co-produce, and direct their own music and music videos together with Ryan's production company, Triple 'R' Productions. Ryan shows daily that he not only loves being in front of the camera, but behind the camera too.
In 2018, Ryan starred opposite Emmy and Tony award winner Hal Linden in The Samuel Project (2018). Ochoa plays Eli, an aspiring artist who builds a relationship with his grandfather Samuel, (Hal Linden) by making Samuel the subject of his art project. This earned both Ochoa and Mr. Linden "Best Actor" nominations at the San Diego Film Awards, where their film also won "Best Narrative Feature" and "Best Director," respectively.
Following "The Samuel Project," Ochoa suited up in U.S. military attire in the Netflix documentary series, Medal of Honor (2018) marking this as his fourth project with Robert Zemeckis and his team, whom produced alongside Academy Award winner James Moll.
Within one week of wrapping "Medal of Honor," Ochoa was off to Sedona, Arizona where he would portray the neighborhood street punk skater, Wayne, in the thriller Room for Rent (2019) starring Lin Shaye. Ryan credits Casey Price, the 1st Assistant Director on the film, for referring him to the director. Ochoa worked with Casey earlier that year on "The Samuel Project," where he built a lifelong friendship with Casey and many of the cast and crew.
Ryan's official debut album "R-TYPE" with the "Ochoa Boyz" was released at the top of 2020. Ryan, his brothers, and their standalone producer were the only writers on the album, being they are the only writers listed on all 17 tracks. Each brother feature on their own individual track as well, showcasing their musical talents in three different style records.
Ochoa is not only producing films now, but directing short films and music videos in between his own projects. Ryan is currently working on new shows to be released later this year.
Ochoa feels like his journey is just beginning, and spends his time studying his craft, creating new content, expanding his business mindset, accomplishing fitness goals, all while focusing to fulfill his quote, "If I can inspire just ONE person, then I have accomplished my purpose!"
Whether it's with a camera or on stage with a mic, Ryan was born to entertain and inspire others along the way, making sure the world will always "DREAM, WISH, BELIEVE."- Actress

Janney was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Macy Brooks (Putnam), a former actress, and Jervis Spencer Janney, Jr., a real estate developer and jazz musician. While studying at Kenyon College, Janney answered a casting call for an on-campus play that was to be directed by Kenyon's most famous alumnus, the legendary actor Paul Newman. During her audition/interview, Janney played upon Newman's known passion for race car driving - she explained how she cut thirty minutes off of the 130 mile journey from her home town to the college. She got chosen for the play's cast.
After earning her degree in drama, Janney took Joanne Woodward's suggestion to do further study at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse. She also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
Early in her career Janney got comedic roles in the soap operas As the World Turns (1956) and Guiding Light (1952). Megyn Price is one of the more familiar faces in the world of television sitcoms. A gifted college student with a mind for figures, Price initially embarked on a career in finance, before making the jump to acting. Her television debut on the final season episode, Liberation - October 16, 1968 (1993), of the sci-fi adventure, Quantum Leap (1989) (NBC, 1989-1993), soon led to more TV guest spots and a regular cast role on the exceptionally short-lived legal sitcom, Common Law (1996) (ABC, 1996). Although Price occasionally picked up smaller parts in feature films, like the Russell Crowe vehicle, Mystery, Alaska (1999), it was on the small screen that she truly excelled. While another co-starring role on the Al Franken sitcom, LateLine (1998) (NBC, 1998-2000), lasted a mere two seasons, Price's turn as thirty-something mom "Claudia Finnerty" on the family comedy, Grounded for Life (2001) (The WB, 2001-05), helped establish her as a recognizable screen presence. Surrounded by a popular ensemble cast, that included Patrick Warburton and David Spade, she enjoyed her lengthiest series run on the relationship sitcom, Rules of Engagement (2007) as matrimonial veteran, "Audrey Bingham".- Music Artist

Marcia Gay Harden was born on August 14, 1959, in La Jolla, California, the third of five children. Her mother, Beverly (Bushfield), was a homemaker, and her father, Thad Harold Harden, was in the military. The family relocated often -- she first became interested in the theatre when the family was living in Greece, and she had attended plays in Athens. Harden began her college education at American universities in Europe and returned to the US to complete her studies at the University of Texas in 1983; went on to earn an MFA at NYU, and, thereafter, embarked on her acting career.
Although she had acted in a movie as early as 1986, in the little-known The Imagemaker (1986), her first mainstream role, coming alongside some TV movie work, was as a sultry femme fatale in the Coen Brothers' cleverly offbeat homage to the gangster movie, Miller's Crossing (1990). Harden received good reviews for her sultry performance as Verna, a seductive, trouble-making moll. Harden thereafter worked steadily in supporting roles, including the portrayal of Ava Gardner in Sinatra (1992), a television biopic about Frank Sinatra. Harden also worked in the theater and, in 1993, was part of the Broadway cast of Tony Kushner's "Angels in America", playing Harper, the alienated wife of a closeted gay man. It was a demanding dramatic role, and Harden won acclaim for her work, including a Tony award nomination. She returned to movie making in the mid-1990s, continuing to turn in superb supporting performances in films and television.
Harden's road to success was a long one, her work generally being overlooked because the productions were either critically panned or ignored by audiences. However, it was just a matter of time before Harden got a chance to truly show her quality on-screen, and that time came in 2000, with Ed Harris's Pollock (2000), in which she played Lee Krasner, artist and long-suffering wife of Jackson Pollock. Harden's performance was deeply moving and unforgettable and earned her the Oscar and New York Film Critic's Circle awards for best supporting actress. Continuing to work prolifically in features and television, she earned another Oscar nomination in 2003 for her supporting role in Clint Eastwood's Mystic River (2003), Harden having earlier worked with Eastwood in 2000's Space Cowboys (2000).
Harden's work often makes otherwise mediocre productions worth watching, fully inhabiting any character she portrays. She was married to Thaddaeus Scheel, with whom she worked on The Spitfire Grill (1996), from 1996 to 2012. The couple have three children, a daughter Eulala Scheel, and twins Julitta and Hudson.- Art Director

In Joely Fisher's recent unflinching memoir, she comes clean and bares her soul about growing up in what she describes as "The Fishbowl".Daughter of Hollywood legendary crooner Eddie Fisher and entertainment icon Connie Stevens, Joely was raised in the Los Angeles area educated in a dozen LA schools, continuing on to the Université de Paris/Sorbonne and Emerson College in Boston. From the time she hit the boards in the multi-purpose room in her Catholic elementary school musical, Mama said, "I couldn't stop her with a train". Triple threat, Joely Fisher stands out as a star of television, musical theatre, and motion pictures. Her "sensational and sexy" turn as Sally Bowles in Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall's critic darling revival of "Cabaret" on Broadway as well as the National touring company earned her rave reviews. Joely made her Broadway debut as "Rizzo"in "Grease!." However, it was her 5 seasons as "Paige Clark ,"Ellen's best friend ,the monstrously ambitious, seductive Hollywood executive on the historic and groundbreaking ABC show, Ellen (1994), that introduced her to television audiences around the world, and earned her a Golden Globe nomination. She next starred opposite John Goodman in FOX's series Normal, Ohio (2000) playing the hilariously fascinating combo of a young caring mother who just happened to be a "bit of a slut." She spent two seasons starring in her own series Wild Card (2003) for Lifetime. In 2005, Joely joined the cast of the hit television series Desperate Housewives (2004) where she played Felicity Huffman's tough and very complex boss Nina Fletcher. Fisher then returned to television opposite Brad Garrett for four seasons in FOX's 'Til Death (2006). Their incredible chemistry kept audiences rolling with laughter. Next, Joely reoccurred on ABC's Last Man Standing (2011) opposite Hector Elizondo. Joely's film credits have placed her opposite some of the finest actors in film, like Jim Carrey in The Mask (1994), Steve Martin in Mixed Nuts (1994), and Nick Nolte in I'll Do Anything (1994). Her crowning achievement to date was starring with Matthew Broderick in the $100 million-grossing Disney film Inspector Gadget (1999). Her television movies include the lead in NBC's Thirst (1998), Showtime's Jitters (1997), ABC's Seduction in a Small Town (1997), and Cupid, Inc. (2012) for Hallmark. No matter how much the focus of her career seems to be acting, the underlying accompaniment throughout is her love of singing and performing. She tells the tale of sleeping in the orchestra pit during one of mother Connie Stevens' performances, and by 12 she was singing all over the world, including a USO tour with Bob Hope during the Persian Gulf War, which led to her performance for President and Mrs. George H. Julie Fowlis is a multi-award winning singer who is deeply influenced by her early upbringing in the Outer Hebridean island of North Uist. Primarily singing in Scottish Gaelic, and with a career spanning five studio albums and numerous high profile collaborations, her 'crystalline' and 'intoxicating' vocals have enchanted audiences around the world.
Nominated as 'Folk Singer of the Year' at the 2018 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, and 'Best Artist' at the Songlines World Music Awards, Julie is a warm and engaging live performer who has graced stages around the world, from village halls in the Highlands to stages in New York, The Philharmonie de Paris and Shakespeare's Globe in London. Recent invitations to perform have included a return to world-class Festival of Voice in Cardiff, the World Festival of Sacred Music in Fez, Morocco, to collaborate with the BBC Concert Orchestra in the Royal Albert Hall for the Proms and to support Scottish icons 'Runrig' to an audience of 50,000 during their farewell concert weekend in August 2018.
She sang live at the closing ceremony of the Ryder Cup in Chicago in 2012 to a TV audience of 500 million, an event that was only eclipsed by singing live at the opening ceremony of the Glasgow XX Commonwealth Games in 2014, to a TV audience of over 1 billion people.
Since of the release of her otherworldly album 'alterum' in 2017, she has been in demand - touring with the world-class Transatlantic Sessions, sell-out shows in London and throughout the UK, and she continues to work on the development of a major 14-18NOW commission with Highland musician Duncan Chisholm, which commemorated 100 years since the 'Iolaire' tragedy, after World War 1.
She will forever be recognised for singing the theme songs to 'Brave', Disney Pixar's Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA winning animated film, set in the ancient highlands of Scotland. The track was recorded when Julie was eight months pregnant with her second child, and has since been a worldwide smash hit, and the song 'Touch the Sky' was indeed long listed for an Oscar nomination in 2013.
Julie has been nominated and won several BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and Scottish Traditional Music Awards. She also made history as the first Gaelic solo artist to win a Scottish Music Award in December 2014.
An artist with a genuine curiosity to explore other traditions and natural ability to cross genres, Julie has collaborated, recorded and performed with artists such as violin virtuoso Nicola Benedetti, and acclaimed singers Aled Jones, Grammy-Award winning James Taylor and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Her passion for folk culture, song and music is exemplified in her exciting collaborations with musicians from around the world, most recently including Grammy Award winners Rodrigo y Gabriela.
Over the last ten years, Julie has also become a sought-after and successful presenter on radio and television, on BBC ALBA, BBC Radio 2, and 4, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Scotland TV, SKY ARTS HD and TG4 in Ireland.
A quiet torchbearer for her native tradition, Julie still finds time to deepen her knowledge of Highland and Gaelic culture, tradition and history through continued research and academic projects.
