Movies I saw in 2019
Movies I saw for the first time in 2019. (This doesn't include movies I rewatched in 2019)
Movies I saw that are not available on IMDb.
Intruder (2017) - Watched after "The Burning Tree" - This film did something amazing, It was able to bore me even with its 5 minute run time. The film has two scenes, the intruder driving to the house and the home owner coming home, with a jarring color pallate difference in between. The fight scene was laughable and most of the movie didn't make sense. For example, the intruder says "I don't want to hurt you" then continues to kill the home owner for no reason. I don't know what message the director was trying to convey with this short film. 1/10
One Choice (2018) - Watched after "Intruder" - This short film had no exposition, leaving me having many, many questions. I know I'm nitpicking, but scenes like her "emotional breakdown" took me out of the movie because she was "punching" the tree with the inside of her palm to make it less painful. Another scene that took me out of the movie was the night scene where it looked like it was filmed inside with the lights off instead of outside. The movie's first half was not very good but then the CGI lazer blast happened and that took it to another level. Maybe a couple of more minutes could have done the movie good. 1/10
Antagonist (2014) - Watched after "Are All Men Pedophiles?" - This short film acted more as a music video or a bit in between an X Games competition than a movie. Although the film was shot very well and the places it was shot looked breathtaking, there wasn't really a story to complement it. The scenes where they actually skied were fun but after a while of the same thing over and over and over again it got a little boring. Not to mention even though the skiing scenes are supposed to be the fun and entertaining parts they go on for way to long therefore ruining the emersion and interest I had with the film. 3/10
