Gabrielle Union was born on October 29, 1972, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Theresa (Glass), who managed a phone company, and Sylvester E. Union, a military sergeant and business executive. When she was eight, her family moved to Pleasanton, California, where she grew up and attended high school. After high school, Gabrielle attended college at University of Nebraska, where she played on the soccer team; and then later transferred to Cuesta College. Eventually, she ended up at UCLA. On her way to law school, just planning on being a working stiff, things started to happen during her senior year. Gabrielle had a college internship at a L.A. modeling agency, she thought it would be an easy way to pick up some extra credits. Little did she know that clients were eyeing the help. Upon the completion of the internship, she was asked to become a client with the agency. Gabby thought of it as a great way to pay off a stack of college loans, and modeled until her agent found that she could actually act. Her first audition/job was landed without any headshots, on Saved by the Bell (1989). Since then, she has gone on to have many small but substantial film roles and has guest-starred on several hit TV shows, all before landing the role of "Dr. Courtney Ellis", on CBS' short-lived medical drama City of Angels (2000).
Although she plays parts that are opinionated and strong, Gabrielle believes that, "Hollywood needs to recognize all shades of African-American beauty." Gabrielle is a 1996 graduate of UCLA with honors in sociology.- Actor

During the 2010 season of American Idol, Tim Urban emerged on the national music scene with a blend of his smooth vocals, all American charm and trademark smile. His talent, determination and upbeat attitude won the hearts of fans all over the world and earned him the number seven slot in the competition as well as the chance to perform on the AI 2010 summer concert tour.
Tim's journey towards a music career began with his birth in May of 1989 in Washington State. A family move when he was six brought Tim to Duncanville, Texas where he spent the next fourteen years. Several members of Tim's large family play instruments and he first picked up his dad's guitar when he was thirteen. His musical style was influenced by such musicians as Jim Croce, John Denver, One Republic, Dave Matthews, Frank Sinatra, U2, James Taylor, Michael Buble, Coldplay and Matt Nathanson. He continued to develop his love for music throughout high school, performing in various musical theater productions and playing at local music venues. Tim also discovered his talent for song writing during this time. He recorded his first CD of original music called Run Away in 2008. Before he auditioned for American Idol, Tim was playing the local music circuit and pursuing a career in entertainment through a Christian talent organization, Actors, Models and Talent for Christ (AMTC). Tim's Christian faith has had a profound impact on his life and music. His song "Lullaby" was written for orphans he met while on a humanitarian trip to South Africa in 2007.
Since finishing the American Idol 2010 concert tour, Tim has continued to press forward with his career as a recording artist. An avid song writer, Tim immediately set to work composing and recording his own material for an. He released his new EP Heart of Me on November 8, 2010 through iTunes. The six-song EP includes "Heart of Me," "Lullaby," "Wheels Touch Down," "P.S.," "I and You," and "Blur." Tim moved from Texas to L.A. in early 2011 to pursue singing and acting opportunities. He is working on a full length album with multiple award winning producers and writers. One of his new songs "Sooner or Later" was featured on the CBS special "Eco Hollywood" which aired May 26th in Los Angeles.
Along with music, acting has become a passion for Tim. Since Ellen mentioned that Tim should be on the Fox show Glee, there have been numerous opportunities opened for him to pursue this avenue of entertainment. He filmed a sizzle reel with Howie Dorough from the Backstreet Boys. Tim is also in talks with several producers, directors and studios about other projects in both television and film.
With the many projects and performances in front of him, Tim has made it a priority to be involved with Nonprofit organizations such as, IJM (International Justice Mission), and Generosity Water. He wants to make sure that in the midst of a rising career he doesn't forget where he came from and what's really important.- Colton Underwood was born on 26 January 1992 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. - From his breakout role in "The Boy Who Could Fly to 'Sonny Bono' in "The Sonny and Cher Story" to appearances at the Sundance Film Festival, Jay Underwood has enjoyed a career of much diversity both in the parts he's played and the mediums he's played in.
Underwood began his theatrical pursuits while growing up in the San Francisco Bay area and then went to a performing arts high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was there that Underwood received his "big break" into the movie business when he was chosen from a national casting search to play opposite Annabeth Gish, and Jon Voight in executive producer Robert Redford's "Desert Bloom." From there he moved to 'tinseltown' where, for over 20 years, he made his living as a working actor.
Underwood's film credits include three Sundance Film Festival participants "Dancing in September", "Valerie Flake", and "Possums." Other highlights are Billy Graham's "Road to Redemption", Alan Rudolph's "Afterglow", the Roger Corman cult classic "The Fantastic Four" (as Johnny Storm, The Human Torch), 'Bug' in "Uncle Buck," with John Candy, and Underwood's personal favorite, the title character in "The Boy Who Could Fly."
On the small screen Underwood had the incredible opportunity of portraying 'Sonny Bono' in "The Sonny and Cher Story" for ABC. He also is remembered for that lovable android 'Chip' in the Disney Channel trilogy "Not Quite Human". Other favorites would include young 'Ernest Hemingway' in "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles," the mini-series "Blind Faith" with Robert Urich and "Wyatt Earp: Return to Tombstone" with the original marshal himself, Hugh O'Brien. Notable guest appearances include "Miracles", "X-Files," "E.R.," "The West Wing," "Star Trek Voyager" and "Millennium." And finally, (but certainly not least), the voice of 'Chester' the Goat in the classic animated Christmas special "The Legend of the Candy Cane."
His theater highlights include studying and performing at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco as well as the Minneapolis Children's Theater Company. In Los Angeles he was seen in "Grand Junction" and "Fortune in Men's Eyes" both at the Coast Playhouse and had a devilish good time playing 'Geoffrey' in the Pasadena Playhouse production of "The Lion in Winter."
More recently, Underwood felt God's call on his life to pursue full time Christian ministry. After starting seminary in 2003, he became a youth pastor and then after graduation in 2007, a full time pastor in a small northern California mountain town. He now lives in "God's country" with his wife, six children and a menagerie of pets. Says Underwood, "I imagine someday standing before the Lord and if He were to ask me what I did with the life that He gave me, I don't want to merely list off my acting credits which are things that really don't have a lot of eternal value, but I want to hear those words from Jesus, "Well done good and faithful servant" because I used the gifts that He gave me to serve Him." That being said, Underwood was convinced to come out of "retirement" to participate in the Christian movie "No Greater Love," produced by Coram Deo Studios, of which he is particularly proud to be a part of. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, GK Umeh first discovered his love of acting seeing a production of "A Raisin in the Sun" at the Goodman Theatre. After graduating high school, he went on to Dartmouth College, where he played Football and studied Film History. Within a couple years, he grew restless and left school to embark on what would evolve into a multifaceted career.
GK began his on-stage journey rocking open mics in Chitown's underground Hip Hop scene, culminating with a spot in the Blaze MC Battle just a few years later. Upon relocating to Brooklyn, he made his rounds of NYC's live music venues as frontman for the bands Organizm & Natural Selection.
Somewhere along the way, his lifelong passion for boxing led him to the NYC Golden Gloves tournament, where he fought his way to the semifinals as a light heavyweight.
In 2007, GK enrolled at NYU, where he completed his History BA and studied drama at the famed Tisch School of the Arts. Meanwhile, he garnered acting experience taking any role he could: from MFA thesis films to off-off-Broadway (like, way off) productions. It was in one of these latter performances that he was first spotted by a casting director from All My Children.
His breakthrough came in 2011 when he played Javier "el Diablo" Morales in FX's boxing drama, "Lights Out." The role gave him the chance to showcase his acting chops, boxing skills and Spanish fluency all at once.
Since then, GK has graced screens in feature films with the likes of Katherine Heigl, John Leguizamo and Liam Neeson, in addition to recurring roles on acclaimed series like "Hostages," "Gossip Girl," and "Law & Order: SVU."
In 2023, GK got the chance to channel his musical roots once more, playing the homicidal (but lovable) bassist Eskie in the Rian Johnson streamer Poker Face, opposite Natasha Lyonne and Chlöe Sevigny.
