Born in Los Angeles, Duncan Joiner booked his first, open-call commercial at age three. It led to a Fox network pilot, a Lifetime Christmas movie, and a lead in the feature film "Some Kind of Beautiful" with Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek. After guest appearances on "Community" and "Jane the Virgin," and a recurring role on "We Bare Bears," he earned another lead in the feature film "The Disappointments Room" with Kate Beckinsale. Recurring roles on Fox's "Lethal Weapon," HBO's "Camping," Netflix's "Spirit Riding Free," and Paramount's "Waco" followed, before being cast as a lead in Steven Spielberg's "Amazing Stories." He then found his manager Antonia DeNardo with Millennium Artists and was signed with Coast To Coast Talent Group in Los Angeles, CA and Landrum Arts, LA. His first big break came when he landed a small role in an episode of the TV series The Purge. Other TV credits include Doom Patrol, The Chosen, and AMC's new hit show the Mayfair Witches. In 2020, he launched his film career with a supporting role in the well received feature film, Palmer, starring Justin Timberlake. He then landed his first lead role in the film Rally Caps opposite Oscar nominated Judd Hirsch, based on true life events, the baseball camp story is filled with humor, emotion, and a family friendly message that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible. Benjamin displayed his love of performing from a very early age. There was no denying this passion which now extends to creating his own scripts, films, animated shorts, writing musicals, songs, singing and scoring.
Benjamin booked his first acting role at the age of 5, a Blueberries commercial. Shortly thereafter, he played the main character as a child in Adventures in Public School (2017). He has also worked extensively in voice. He booked his first voice role in November of 2017, Nina's World (2015), and has worked non-stop in this area since, booking recurring roles on animated series such as Chip and Potato (2018), Gigantosaurus (2019), Dinosaur Train (2009), and Pup Academy (2019).
