House of Cards - Season 6 Review

Season rating - 7.5-good Highlight episode - Chapter 71 MVP - Robin Wright

Given the circumstances, this season was always going to feel strange and rather contrived. I still managed to find it mildly entertaining for the most part, as I kind of just let all the ridiculous, one-dimensional character choices wash over. The Shepherds were a useless plot device that had no real significance being in the show and the story as a whole just reached a dead-end. I had been forgiving of this until the finale went out of its way to become a complete parody of the show. Such a lack of pay-off and half-arsed writing. Wright did a great job, though, and the score was very good, so there's that.
