Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers, both occupations which she has herself pursued. She made her debut when she was only nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). In 1988 she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo (1988), and was part of the cast of The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. The following year she played Nanni Moretti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon (1989) (also directed by Moretti).
It was with Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she was able to move on from playing very young girls to more mature, complex roles. The movie was well-received at the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma (1993), she worked for the first time with her father, famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search of her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera (1998) is the third film she has made with her father, the others being Trauma (1993) (filmed in the US) and The Stendhal Syndrome (1996).
Asia's absorbed, intense style of acting was well-used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze (1993). In 1993 she co-starred in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista (1994) in which she played Arianna, a physically disabled girl--an intricate, difficult role that won her the David di Donatello for best actress (1993-1994). She also had a featured role in the international cast of Queen Margot (1994), directed by Patrice Chéreau. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion (1996), which again won her a David di Donatello and a Grolla d'oro.
In 1994 Asia turned her hand to directing and turned out two short films: "Prospettive" (an episode of the film DeGeneration (1994)) and "A ritroso". In 1996 she directed a documentary on her father and, in 1998, one on cult director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998), which won an award at the Rome Film Festival. In 1999 Asia made her feature-directing debut with Scarlet Diva (2000), in which she was the leading actress and author of the screenplay. The film was released in May 2000 in Italy and the rest of the world. It won an award at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York. In 2001, after directing a number of music videos, she gave birth to her first daughter, Anna Lou. Asia is also the author of a number of short stories published in many prestigious magazines such as "Dynamo," "L'Espresso," "Sette," and "Village," Her first novel, "I Love You, Kirk," was published in Italy by Frassinelli Editrice in October 1999 and in France by Florent Massot in 2001.- Actor

Appealing actor Romain Duris is the exact example of those who arrived in the movie industry by chance, and to stardom without really desiring it. Discovered by a casting director while he was waiting in front of a high school in Paris, he was offered a role. Between popular successes such as Good Old Daze (1994), Dobermann (1997), Tom Thumb (2001), The Spanish Apartment (2002) or Arsène Lupin (2004), and independent films like Seventeen Times Cécile Cassard (2002), Exils (2004), The Crazy Stranger (1997), Being Light (2001), Déjà mort (1998) or When the Cat's Away (1996), Duris proves to be versatile enough to be credible as a bandit, as a homosexual, or simply as a French student in the streets of Barcelona. The consecration has been The Beat That My Heart Skipped (2005); now Duris is seen as an excellent and touching actor by the critics and by the audience.- Actress

Audrey Justine Tautou was born on August 9, 1976 in Beaumont, France, to Evelyne Marie Laure (Nuret), a teacher, and Bernard Tautou, a dental surgeon. Audrey showed an interest for comedy at an early age and started her acting lessons at 'Cours Florent'. Then, she came to the attention of Tonie Marshall who gave her a role in her film Venus Beauty Institute (1999) for which she won a Best New Actress Cesar. The director chose her for her natural nature: "She came, she gaffed, she turned reddish, her ears were in a funny position and her hair was relaxed. In five minutes, she gave me the heart of the character, a petite young girl who would like to be a lady and will become a woman." In 2000, Audrey was again nominated for a Cesar and her movie Amélie (2001) has been a phenomenal success worldwide.- Actor

Juliette Binoche was born in Paris, France, to Monique Yvette Stalens, a director, teacher, and actress, and Jean-Marie Binoche, a sculptor, director, and actor. Her mother was born in Czestochowa, Poland, of French, Walloon Belgian, and Polish descent, while her father is French. Juliette was only 23 when she first attracted the attention of international film critics with The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988). Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times film critic with an international following of his books on film and TV reviews, wrote that she was "almost ethereal in her beauty and innocence". That innocence was gone by the time Binoche completed Louis Malle's Damage (1992) (aka "Fatale"). In an interview after the film was released, Binoche said: "Malle was trying direct and wanted something more sophisticated". A year later, Krzysztof Kieslowski's Three Colors: Blue (1993) was added to her film credits. After a sabbatical from film-making to become a mother in 1994, Binoche was selected as the heroine of France's most expensive ($35 million) movie ever: The Horseman on the Roof (1995). More recently, she has made The English Patient (1996), for which she won an Oscar for 'Best supporting actress' and Chocolat (2000).- Actor

Cecile de France was born in Namur in Belgium in 1975 and discovered her vocation at the early age of six. As soon as she was seventeen, she was off to Paris with the ambition of beginning a career on the stage. She studied drama with Jean-Paul Denizon, actor and assistant to Peter Brook, before being admitted to the Ecole National Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Théâtre, where she complemented her preparatory training with classes in fencing, dance, singing and masque.
Hardly had she graduated than the cinema snapped her up. It was none other than Richard Berry himself who offered her her first important role in L'art (délicat) de la seduction. Theatre and film roles followed aplenty, leading up to L'Auberge Espagnole (Potluck or Spanish Apartment in English speaking countries), where her performance as the character Isabelle was a huge success with the public and earned her a prestigious César award for most promising young actress as well as the Prix Louis Lumière. Two years later the sequel, Les Poupées russes (The Russian Dolls), brought her a César for best supporting actress. The next Klapisch's movie, Casse-tête chinois (Chinese Puzzle), will be out on December 4, 2013 for France.
On film Cecile de France continued to give her all with Alexandre Aja's horror movie Haute Tension (High Tension or Switchblade Romance in English-speaking countries). This gave her the opportunity to bring genre cinema into her repertoire, as well as to win the hearts and minds of the most demanding film buffs.
Gilles Jacob invited her to host the legendary Cannes Film Festival in 2005. Trenyce was born Lashundra Treniese Cobbins on March 31, 1980, to Jesse and Linda Cobbins. It didn't take Trenyce's parents long to realize that their daughter was very gifted. While still just a toddler at the age of four, she began singing jingles she heard on the television and radio. Trenyce became a shining star and was recognized as such at every level of schooling from grade school, to Junior high school, to high school. She constantly displayed her singing talent while competing in local talent shows and school pageants, even winning the title of "Miss Sophomore" and "First Alternate" to Miss Junior at Central High School.
After high school, Trenyce attended the University of Memphis, on a full music scholarship and further developed her talent as part of the school's "University Singers" organization and "Sound Fuzion", a University band that toured the state of Tennessee performing in different venues and displaying a wide array of musical genres. While at the University, Trenyce majored in nursing and completed three years, before deciding that medicine was not her calling. Trenyce decided to take a break and to give herself a year to make it in the music business.
In addition to her high school and college titles, Trenyce performed in numerous venues in Memphis, gracing the stage of reputable establishments such as Rhythms Nightclub, Precious Cargo, and Isaac Hayes Restaurant to name a few. Trenyce has also given back to the community by singing at various events held by charitable organizations such as the NewsChannel Three Kids Count Expo, the NAACP Gala and the Miss Kappa Alpha Psi Pageant. She did not limit herself to competition in local events either, Trenyce also competed in the national NAACP Act-So Competition in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996, where she won first place in a competition that included over 125 contestants from all over the country.
Trenyce had taken that break from school and was working at a job she loved when she learned that the show "American Idol" would be holding auditions in Nashville, TN in October of 2002. She seized the opportunity. Trenyce camped out for 3 days and nights on a cold rooftop, auditioning first for producers and executive producers and almost lost her voice in the process. Finally, she was chosen by celebrity judges, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell to audition in California against the top 250 contestants chosen from the nationwide search. Trenyce made it through that round to the top 32, and finally into the prestigious top I2, where she performed dynamically before national audiences every week and connected with millions of fans who voted her to a 5th place finish in the competition to find America's most talented young person.
During the months of June and August of 2003, Trenyce was a featured performer in the American Idol II Live Concert Tour. Easily the most exciting performer in the show, Trenyce wowed crowds all over the United States and parts of Canada with outstanding performances of Tina Turner's "Proud Mary" and Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing". The tour started at the end of June and took off as the biggest event of the summer, outselling the Justin and Christina tour as nine of the 12 finalist, including the Memphis native, performed night after night at a total of 41 cities in 55 days. Trenyce's performances were given rave reviews and many even stated that she simply "shines" on stage compared to the other performers. She puts on a great show and is very energetic. The quality of her performances serve notice that the rising star could very well stand alone and be a fantastic artist in her own right for many years to come.
Though her American Idol experience is over, it seems only the beginning for Trenyce and many are recognizing her talent and overwhelming star quality. Trenyce has appeared on national television on CNN, Live with Regis and Kelly, Extra, ET, Fox, and Friends, the CBS Early Morning Show, the Wayne Brady Show, the Pulse, Inside Edition, Good Day Live, the Today Show, TRL and she is recognized nation wide as a singing sensation, whose celebrity status is on the rise. Locally in Memphis, TN, she has been featured in such periodicals as Grace Magazine, Proud Magazine, Party Source and was even named one of Memphis' 30 Most Beautiful People in Elite Magazine's special issue released in June of 2003. She's been featured in almost all of the Mid South's highest rated newspapers, such as The Commercial Appeal, The Silver Star News, and the TriState Defender. Recently, Trenyce was honored by both the Mayor of Shelby County and the Mayor of the City of Memphis and given a certificate of achievement as well as a key to the city.
Trenyce is now looking forward to expressing her own individuality as a singer/songwriter, model, actress, producer, spokesperson, entrepreneur and founder of a performing arts school. The young 23 year old star has a bright future ahead of her, and plans to make all of her dreams come true one step at a time.
As a singer she would like to establish a style of music that blends both class and sexiness with the modern style of pop and R&B. She wishes to showcase her wide range of ability by singing powerful songs similar to Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" but also have the edge and sexiness found in songs such as Beyonce's "Crazy in Love". She loves to experiment with her voice and will not be confined to one genre of music. She has the ability to branch out into various styles and still remain true to the millions of loyal fans that she established during her American Idol experience.
As a performer, Trenyce's concerts will always provide something for everybody, since she can gracefully sing love songs or power ballads, or perform up tempo songs while energetically dancing, and singing, giving audiences a complete concert experience.
As an artist, Trenyce has expressed a need to constantly reinvent herself, displaying her sexy, edgy, yet unique style, which she one day hopes to benefit from by becoming one of the most successful entrepreneurs of her time. She is currently working on an aromatherapy line, "Serenity of Beverly Hills" clothing and/or shoe line, and a book about her complete Idol experience.
Very few new artists can offer what Trenyce effortlessly combines. Boundless singing talent, classic beauty, performance and dance ability, stage presence, an edgy style which attracts young people, media savvy, a recognizable and marketable name and image, as well as a base of millions of loyal fans, who are at present, eagerly anticipating a solo release from the talented young singer. With all of her many attributes, Trenyce is preparing to take her career to the next level and achieve all of her goals. And what would stop this young star from reaching all of her goals? Nothing. Look for Trenyce to be the next huge sensation in entertainment versatility.- Actor

Austin Robert Butler was born in Anaheim, California, to Lori Anne (Howell), an aesthetician, and David Butler. He has always enjoyed movies of all types. When he was 13 he was walking around at the Orange County Fair and was approached by a representative from a background-acting management company, who helped him get started in the entertainment industry. He found that he really enjoyed it, and began taking a few acting classes. Soon, he landed a rather permanent (2005-2007) background-acting gig on Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide (2004), and a friend on the show, Lindsey Shaw, introduced him to her manager, who offered to represent him. From that point on, he considered himself to be a serious actor.
His first named (albeit uncredited) character was "Toby" in the Hannah Montana (2006) episode "Oops, I Meddled Again" in 2006 (girl broke up with him). First speaking role was in Zoey 101 (2005), as "Dannifer" or "Wrong Danny" (a few lines, and a girl poured soda down his shirt). He got a meatier role on Hannah Montana (2006) in 2007, still a small part, but very fun (a few more lines, and he got to fling popcorn on Miley Cyrus).
His big break (relatively speaking) was in 2007, as casting directors started to recognize him from his many, many auditions, and he was given an opportunity to play the part of "Jake Krandle" in the new Nickelodeon series iCarly (2007), which should start airing late in 2007. His first episode is called "iLike Jake."- Actor

Conner Floyd was born on 20 October 1992 in Austin, Texas, USA. He is an actor and writer, known for The Young and the Restless (1973), Malicious Motives (2021) and The Last Deal (2023).- Carrie Schroeder was born and raised in the small country town of Shepparton, two hours northeast of the major Australian city of Melbourne, Victoria. When she wasn't riding a horse, waterskiing, or camping up the Murray River, Carrie was at a piano lesson, dance class or recital. With two younger brothers who were always of more imposing stature than her, she had to establish being the "boss" from an early age to keep them in check. Quietly determined, she started dance class at age six and it quickly became her passion. Fun-loving Carrie made her family and friends sit through endless dance performances in her living room and backyard, choreographed and performed by herself and her best friend.
Carrie grew up in the world of hospitality. Since an early age, she watched her family own and operate a local pub her grandmother bought in 1941, shortly after she immigrated from Scotland. Carrie's first job was washing dishes for the pub. Then she went on to food service at the age of 12. Her father would never let her work in the main bar as he felt the "colorful language" was not appropriate for his only daughter. Though she always worked in the family business, Carrie diligently balanced work with school and her love of performing though she always felt school generally got in the way of her performing life. She had dance class at least twice a week, then rehearsals for various community productions. Her first was at age 14, and she went on to perform in at least two productions every year while in school.
Carrie always knew that she was going to pursue a career in the arts. Her love of dance continued through high school; where she studied ballet, tap and jazz and became the choreographer for the many shows and festivals at her high school. At age 16, she was cast as Mary in a local production of "The Secret Garden" and fell in love with acting. She was also the choir leader for the school festivals as well, and her first solo vocal performance was at her high school graduation.
Carrie attended Charles Sturt University in NSW Victoria and received her Bachelor of Arts in Acting for the Stage and Screen. During her time at University she starred as Hero in "Much Ado About Nothing," Jessica in "Dead White Males" and Shelby in "Steel Magnolias." During her senior year, Carrie was one of 11 students to be selected to perform in the Sydney Theatre Company's highly acclaimed production of "The White Devil" lead by Hugo Weaving and Angie Milliken as part of Sydney's Olympic Arts Festival.
Immediately following her graduation, Carrie toured in a production of "And Then They Came for Me" by American author James Still, starring in the role of Eva Schloss. To this day, one of Carrie's most humbling experiences was meeting Holocaust survivor Eva Schloss during the run of the play. Dance was still a huge part of Carrie's life until an onstage injury during a touring production in Singapore ended her dancing. Her professional focus then shifted to the screen, and she was cast in the television miniseries adaptation of Bryce Courtney's novel "Jessica." Following this, she went on to guest star in popular Australian television programs including "H2O: Just Add Water" and "Neighbours."
Carrie relocated to Los Angeles in 2012, and continues to add to her resume in film, television and webisodes. Her notable L.A. theatre credits include playing Alison in John Osborne's "Look Back in Anger" with the Los Angeles New Court Theatre and as Sophie in Joanne Mosconi's new work for the Fringe Theatre Company "You Love That I'm NOT Your Wife!" In addition to her acting career, Carrie is also an accomplished mezzo-soprano and performs regularly. She sang with Jason Alexander and the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall in 2013, and then again at Tanglewood in 2014. Carrie has sung with vocalist Robyn Spangler several times, including at The Metropolitan Room in New York City and appeared in her music video for the song, "Second Wind." She has also performed for two years as a back-up singer for the Alzheimer's Benefit - "A Night at Sardi's" at The Beverly Hilton.
