Lino Guanciale was born in Avezzano, Italy on 21 May 1979. In 2003, he graduated from the Accademia d'arte drammatica "Silvio d'Amico", where he won the Gassman Prize as Best Actor of the previous ten years. Immediately upon graduation, he began working in the theatre, with Gigi Proietti on Romeo e Giulietta, the inaugural show of the Silvano Toti Globe Theatre in Rome.
More work quickly followed, and he started to collaborate with great names of Italian theatre as Luca Ronconi (Atti di guerra), Walter Le Moli (Gli incostanti, Antigone), Massimo Popolizio and Michele Placido. Placido later, upon directing him in the play Fontamara, cast him as Nunzio in his award-winning film Angel of Evil (2010).
Since 2005, Lino has also taught theatre classes and workshops in middle schools, high schools and universities. He made his film debut in 2008, playing none other than Mozart in Io, Don Giovanni (2009) directed by Carlos Saura, followed by The Front Line (2009). In 2011, besides "Vallanzasca", he was also featured in The Jewel (2011) by the director Andrea Molaioli as Filippo Magnaghi, the honest executive devastated by shame over his company's fraudulent activities; Marina Spada's My Tomorrow (2011); and the Rai1 television series Il segreto dell'acqua (2011) directed by Renato De Maria.
His movie career includes Woody Allen's To Rome with Love (2012), La scoperta dell'alba (2012) by Susanna Nicchiarelli and Wondrous Boccaccio (2015) directed by the brothers Paolo Taviani and Vittorio Taviani, in addition to a promising collaboration with the musician and director Davide Cavuti in Un'avventura romantica (2016), Preghiera per la vita (2020), Lectura Ovidii (2019) and Un marziano di nome Ennio (2022).
His work on TV has achieved success of public and critics, as protagonist in shows like The Family (2012), La dama velata (2015), L'allieva (2016), The Red Door (2017), Inspector Ricciardi (2021) and Noi (2022), the Italian adaptation of the american series This Is Us (2016).- Claudio Gioè was born on 27 January 1975 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Giulio Berruti was born on 27 September 1984 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. He is an actor and producer, known for Walking on Sunshine (2014), Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (2021) and Monte Carlo (2011).- Born in Barcelona, and after a childhood between Italy and Spain, Vanessa Incontrada began her career at the age of 17 as a model. She then became the face of major advertising brands like Pupa, Wind, Persona, Sky, Zalando, and Elena Mirò. She worked as an announcer on the radio, on Hit Channel and later on RTL 102.5, and as a host on various TV and music shows. She debuted on the big screen in 2003 with Pupi Avati, in Il cuore altrove (Incantato), a movie that would be presented at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Globes in Los Angeles. Engaged on the big and small screen, he has always dedicated his energies to social commitment. The role played in Capitano Ultimo is the one he is most attached to. He supported Sergio De Caprio in the creation of a non-profit foundation and the Casa Famiglia Capitano Ultimo, in the Parco della Mistica, on the south-eastern outskirts of Rome, with the aim of defeating the culture of ethnic, religious, social or physical diversity by welcoming underprivileged minors who are given education and training that allows them to undertake honest work. He works alongside the Io Ci Sono association for the reconstruction of multifunctional centers in the areas of central Italy hit by the earthquake in 2016. In 2010, during the World Food Day ceremony, he was appointed FAO Good Will Ambassador. In 2005 he decided to research and produce stories in which he could express himself freely on an acting, creative and productive level, creating his own Film Production Company. The intent is to give space to projects with social value, which can, through cinema and television, spread messages that lead to reflection. He produces Sbirri, a docu-film on the world of police and drugs, which has enjoyed considerable success with audiences and critics both at the cinema and on TV. He presents the short film 15 Seconds in Brussels, against the death penalty, sponsored by the European Parliament, the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Education. He co-produces Io, l'altro which talks about racism and preconceptions and how the way of seeing others has changed after September 11th. With MediaFriends he produced two social shorts: Graffiti and Amore nero, the latter shot as a manifesto against violence against women, starring Michelle Hunziker and the directorial debut of Raoul himself. Adriano Giannini is the son of actor Giancarlo Giannini and of director Livia Giampalmo. From 1989 and 1998 he worked as a camera assistant in some of the most well known Italian and American productions.
Adriano made his cinema debut in 2000 as lead actor in "Alla rivoluzione sulla due cavalli," directed by Maurizio Sciarra (Pardo d'Oro in Locarno Festival 2001). Adriano received the "Biraghi" award for best actor, and the 'revelation of the year' award at Taormina Film Festival, 2002. That same yeaar, Adriano also starred with Giovanna Mezzogiorno in the movie "State zitti per favore" by Livia Giampalmo. In 2001, Adriano worked with Madonna in the English film "Swept Away " by Guy Ritchie. From then on his career has alternated between film and television projects in Italy and abroad.
Adriano is also known for being a talented dubbing artist, havign dubbed the voices of actors such as Heath Ledger, Joaquin Phoenix, Jude Law, Christian Bale, Brad Pitt and Matthew Mc Conaughey. So far, this has won him two Nastri d'Argento awards. His directing debut came with the short film "Il Gioco", which he also produced and adapted, based on the short story by Andrea Camilleri. Adriano was in competition at the Venice Film Festival with Silvio Soldini's films "Il colore nascosto delle cose", "Lacci" by Daniele Lucchetti, and "Vivere" by Francesca Archibugi. Louis Hofmann was born in the Bensberg district of Bergisch Gladbach, and grew up in Cologne.
His first appearance on TV was for Servicezeit (1997), an evening magazine program on WDR Fernsehen television network. 2 years later, he decided to become an actor and applied to an acting agency and was subsequently represented by Agentur Schwarz.
Hofmann guest-starred in legal comedy-drama Danni Lowinski (2010) and television series Der verlorene Vater (2010). He also appeared in the television film Tod in Istanbul (2010) and the TV series Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (1996)
Hofmann's first cinematic leading role was in the Tom Sawyer (2011) by director Hermine Huntgeburth's adaptation of Mark Twain's classic novel. Along with Leon Seidel, who played the role of Huck Finn, he sang on the soundtrack of the film in the song, "Barfuß Gehen" ("Going Barefoot"), and represented the same character in The Adventures of Huck Finn (2012).
In 2013, Hofmann played a guest-starring role in an episode of the television series Stolberg (2006). Beginning on 24 October 2013 Hofmann appeared in the comedy The Almost Perfect Man (2013)
His role as Wolfgang in film Sanctuary (2015) earned him the 2015 Bavarian Film Prize as Best Newcomer Actor and the 2016 German Actors Award (Deutscher Schauspielerpreis) in the newcomer category. His first international role as a German prisoner of war in the Danish-German co-production Land of Mine (2015) (Danish: Under sandet) earned him the Best Supporting Actor prize at Denmark's Bodil Awards in 2016. At the 2016 German Film Awards, he received with the Special Prize Jaeger-LeCoultre Homage to German Cinema presented to honor the work of German actors in international films.
In 2016, Hofmann played Phil in Center of My World (2016), a coming-of-age romantic drama film directed by Jakob M. Erwa, based on the 1998 bestselling novel The Centre of the World by Andreas Steinhöfel. He was presented with a European Shooting Stars Award at Berlinale 2017 by the European Film Promotion organization.
He was cast as Jonas Kahnwald in Dark (2017), a science fiction thriller released on Netflix on 1 December 2017 and followed with two seasons. Dark (2017) project was one of four projects he played in a single year, two of them in English.
He played the lead role in the German film Prelude (2019). The film tells about the piano student David, who is going through the torments of first love. Hofmann himself described this picture as "a mixture of the films Whiplash and Black Swan". In an interview, he admitted that only after this film he realized what character parts he is drawn to: to a dramatic, suffering character overwhelmed by life circumstances.- Actor
