Isabel Oliver Marcus's breakthrough role as Allison on NBC's hit drama "This Is Us" is a classic Hollywood story of sudden success: In less than a week, she went from babysitting her brother to working alongside some of Hollywood's top stars. Although she had been living in Los Angeles for a year prior, Isabel and her mom were both visiting in Texas when the e-mail came through for an audition with NBC's Emmy-winning hit drama, "This Is Us." The role was very secretive, a recurring character known as "red-headed teen girl" and the audition designated that only those actors who were in Los Angeles and able to be in the casting room the next day should see the sides. Isabel wasn't even in Los Angeles, so her agents at Abrams Artists had to plead her case, ultimately convincing the casting team to let her submit a video read. She taped her audition on Thursday night, was "pinned" by the production on Friday, flew to Los Angeles alone on Saturday, had a "chemistry read" on Monday, and was working on the show Wednesday morning.
Like almost every "overnight" success, the role actually came to her after many years of hard work and serious study. Isabel began performing at age 3 and started actively studying her craft by 5th grade. Always at home with the camera, Isabel's remarkable hair color and willing disposition attracted the attention of photographers, and by age 8 she had appeared in advertising for Photo District News and in Hallmark Magazine. By the time "This Is Us" came calling, she had performed in Shakespeare plays (and won an award for Shakespeare monologues), musical theater, and numerous short films.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Isabel grew up within walking distance of the Alamo and the storied River Walk in a small house under a big pecan tree. Reared in a lively neighborhood that featured a community of visual artists, writers, and performers, as well as immigrants, working people, and professionals, Isabel had a variety of personalities to use as role models for the characters she would create in her backyard. With three giant boxes of costumes her mother had collected from thrift stores, Isabel (an only child) constructed other characters by putting costumes on sticks and flowerpots and forced her family to watch her performances.
She spent her elementary and middle school years at San Antonio's arts and language charter school, Bonham Academy, where she learned Spanish and starred in numerous productions of its award-winning theater program. She won every performance competition she entered in San Antonio, including play festivals and Texas school competitions.
When she was 11 years old she participated in a casting showcase in Austin, Texas, where representatives from Los Angeles agencies saw her work: Of the 20 LA-based agencies in attendance, 18 expressed an interest in representing her, including Fatmata Kamara, from Abrams Artists. That summer, Isabel and her mom packed their bags for California and started a three-year annual temporary residency. They lived in Los Angeles for 3-4 months from ages 12 to 14, familiarizing themselves with the city and the industry, and returned to San Antonio for the bulk of each school year so that Isabel could spend time with her father. Isabel spent two years studying musical theater at North East School of the Arts in San Antonio before permanently relocating to Los Angeles to complete high school. Lead roles for independent and student projects followed, including many student films, music videos, and works that often never made it out of post-production.
Dallas-area actress and talent coach Lar Park Lincoln helped Isabel shoot her TIU tape, Abrams' Domina Holbeck fought for her taped submission, and manager Addison Witt met her at the airport when she flew to Los Angeles: "Nobody does this by themselves" says Isabel, "I'm incredibly fortunate to have the support system of my community and honored to have people like Lar, Addison, and the team at Abrams on my side."
With "This Is Us" attracting attention and giving her the chance to learn from the best directors and best actors on television, Isabel Oliver Marcus is ready to take on new opportunities. Now her sights are firmly set on what comes next: Feature films top the "#goals" list.Born: Feb. 12, 2000 (age 24)- Actor

Some favorite roles of Addy's include her first lead role, Mary Jane in "Death and Mary Jane", a short; "Remnants" with Tom Sizemore, Wilber Fitzgerald, Adam Minarovich, and Robert Pralgo (she played Pralgo's daughter Melissa), and "Bad Blood: The Hatfields and McCoys" as Alifair McCoy. Although it was very cold on set, she enjoyed her time in Kentucky bonding with the cast and crew. "Bad Blood" stars Christian Slater, Jeff Fahey, Perry King, and Priscilla Barnes, to name a few of the well-rounded cast.
Addy's love for acting goes beyond the roles in front of the camera. When she was young, she began requesting crew work and delved into the technical work behind the scenes. The crews were instructional, showing Addy how they did their work. When she was home, she reviewed movies and studied how the actors react to certain situations. Addy considers herself a darker actress and likes dramas and tough emotional scenes.
On a personal note, Addy attends North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Addy is pursuing a degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. She plans to add a minor in Journalism and has successfully made the Dean's List every term. Because of that accomplishment, Addy was asked to join National Honor Fraternity Phi Sigma Pi - Beta Delta, where she is the PR Chair.
Additionally, a fun fact about Addy is that her role model is Taylor Swift, whom she finally got to meet privately at a concert in 2018. Addy is often told she looks like Taylor Swift, which, of course, she loves!
Addy's film "Behind You" hit theaters and digital release both nationally and internationally in 2020. Addy spent four wonderful weeks in Salt Lake City, Utah filming. Addy plays the Lead Role of "Olivia" along side Jan Broberg and Elizabeth Birkner. Directed by Andrew Mecham and Matthew Whedon.
During Addy's senior year in college, she was lucky enough to get to work with Emma Roberts in "Abandoned", which hit theaters and digital release in 2022. This film was shot only 45 minutes away from her university and was primarily night shoots, so she was able to fit filming into her calendar. - Actor

Originally from Kelowna, British Columbia, actress on the rise Taylor Hickson has steadily made a name for herself in the entertainment industry through the dynamic characters she has brought to life on screen. From starring as the sweet, girl next door, to a relentless assassin in training, and a strong-willed, apocalypse survivor, Hickson has proved time and time again she can do it all.
Hickson was most recently seen starring in the critically acclaimed indie drama "Giant Little Ones" [Mongrel Media] alongside Maria Bello, Kyle MacLachlan and Josh Wiggins. The film follows two popular teenage boys, Franky Winter (Wiggins) and Ballas Kohl (Darren Mann), best friends since childhood, who discover their lives, families, and girlfriends dramatically upended after an unexpected incident occurs on the night of Franky's seventeenth birthday party. Hickson was a scene stealer as Natasha Kohl, Ballas' sister who is ostracized from the rest of their classmates. "Giant Little Ones" premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival to rave reviews with The Hollywood Reporter saying the film is, ".... beautifully acted story that manages to transcend quite a few - if clearly not all - of the coming-of-age genre's clichés."
On the television front Hickson can next be seen in the highly anticipated SYFY series "Deadly Class" (2019). Executive Produced by Joe and Anthony Russo ("The Avengers") the series follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a high school for assassins during the late 1980's counterculture. Hickson stars as gloomy goth girl Petra, one of the students at the School for the Deadly Arts. Hickson was also recently cast as the series lead in the drama pilot for Freeform "Motherland" (from "Claws" creator Eliot Laurence and executive producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick) which follows a secret government program that recruits witches to help with combat missions Additional credits for Hickson include appearing in Twentieth Century Fox's "Deadpool" opposite Ryan Reynolds, MGM's "Everything, Everything" opposite Amandla Stenberg and Nick Robinson, the indie thriller film "Residue," and starring on SYFY's apocalyptic series "Aftermath."
Born and raised in Canada, Hickson's career began at the age of twelve, singing alongside her father on stages throughout BC. As her passion for music deepened, she began writing her own material and graduated high school a year early to focus on her music career. She fell into acting after a relative encouraged her to audition for an agency at 16 years old. Once Hickson began auditioning, she landed roles right out the gate, one of the first being a part in the psychological thriller "Blackway" opposite Anthony Hopkins, Ray Liotta, and Julia Stiles. That was followed by a lead role in Canadian indie "Hunting Pignut" based on writer/director Martine Blue's true-life story. The film centers around Bernice (Hickson) a 15-year old runaway trying desperately to uncover the mystery of her father's disappearance. Hickson has been working non-stop ever since.
While acting and music are two of Hickson's greatest passions, she also has a big place in her heart for charity and actively supports International Justice Mission and Free the Children, both of which focus on saving or preventing children being sold into child slavery and providing relief to children living in extreme poverty. Hickson has participated in food drives, raised funds for both organizations, and while in high school raised enough money to build a school for underprivileged children and provide them with school supplies.Born: Dec. 11, 1997 (age 22)
