Luke began his acting career at the age of five, appearing as Mel Gibson's son in "We Were Soldiers." Not knowing how to read yet, he simply recited the pledge of allegiance-a move that would land him the role. He was also cast as "Stevie Dewberry" in the family film "Because of Winn-Dixie" at age eight, after choosing to audition with a toothpick in his mouth. The choice set him apart from the hundreds of boys vying for the role. The director, Wayne Wang, loved the idea and even used it in the film. In 2006, Luke was cast in Walden Media's "How to Eat Fried Worms" as the main character of "Billy Forrester." However, it wasn't until he was a freshman in high school that Luke realized that acting was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life, so in 2012 the family permanently moved to Los Angeles.
His past TV credits include the television pilots "Life on the Water," the WB's revival of "Family Affair" starring Tim Curry and Gary Cole, and the Disney Channel pilots "Madison High" and "Zombies and Cheerleaders." Other credits include starring in the Disney Channel's original movies "Minutemen" and "Girl vs. Monster." Luke's other past motion picture credits include playing the role of autistic teen "Alan Wheddon" in "Dear John." As well as a vast collection of failed pilots, including Amazon's "Point of Honor", helmed by Carlton Cuse.
Benward was born in Franklin, Tennessee, to Kenda Benward (née Wilkerson), an actress/coach, and Aaron Benward, a singer/ songwriter. His grandfather, Jeoffrey Benward, was a Contemporary Christian music singer. Part of an entertainment family, Luke got his acting bug by tagging along to auditions with his mother, actress, acting coach and CMT's first on-air personality, Kenda Benward. He got his musical heritage from his father, Aaron Benward, an award-winning producer, songwriter and recording artist. Luke is truly a triple threat. He studied dance with hip hop choreographer, Nick Bass (Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera, and Michael Jackson) for four years. He also recorded his first five-song EP called Let Your Love Out in 2008 and supported that effort with a fall and spring 50 city tour.

Austin Robert Butler was born in Anaheim, California, to Lori Anne (Howell), an aesthetician, and David Butler. He has always enjoyed movies of all types. When he was 13 he was walking around at the Orange County Fair and was approached by a representative from a background-acting management company, who helped him get started in the entertainment industry. He found that he really enjoyed it, and began taking a few acting classes. Soon, he landed a rather permanent (2005-2007) background-acting gig on Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide (2004), and a friend on the show, Lindsey Shaw, introduced him to her manager, who offered to represent him. From that point on, he considered himself to be a serious actor.

He got a meatier role on Hannah Montana (2006) in 2007, still a small part, but very fun (a few more lines, and he got to fling popcorn on Miley Cyrus).
His big break (relatively speaking) was in 2007, as casting directors started to recognize him from his many, many auditions, and he was given an opportunity to play the part of "Jake Krandle" in the new Nickelodeon series iCarly (2007), which should start airing late in 2007. Josh McKenzie first came to public and critical attention in 2011, when he was awarded the Most Outstanding Debut Performance at the AFTA's, New Zealand's most prestigious film and television honors. He played the of teenager Marc Snell (The Hopes and Dreams of Gazza Snell), a go-karting prodigy yoked with the guilt of putting his beloved younger brother (played by McKenzie's actual young brother William V. McKenzie) into a coma. The performance also resulted in McKenzie being nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film at the same ceremony.
Upon the completion of his high school studies, McKenzie gained acceptance to attend the acclaimed Toi Whakaari acting academy, New Zealand's most intensive and respected drama institution. Other alumni of the school include actors Cliff Curtis, Robyn Malcolm and Kerry Fox.
McKenzie, eager to verify his talent on the stage, then starred as leading man Lysander in an abstract and modernized production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, put on by the Auckland Theatre Company. McKenzie continued to diversify his choice of roles in the following period, effectively exploring an entire cross-section of the New Zealand film and television scene, which was quickly becoming a favoured location for international productions. His roles during this period included turns in famed fantasy series including Legend of the Seeker, The Shannara Chronicles and Power Rangers. He also starred in drama and comedy series including Girl vs. Boy, Go Girls, and Nothing Trivial, alongside leading performances in various indie and commercial features such as The Kick and Tangiwai. In 2013, McKenzie joined the cast of New Zealand's longest running and most watched nightly TV drama, Shortland Street. McKenzie has expressed his ability as writer and director. In 2014 he co-wrote, starred in and directed the web-series The Transplants. Viewable online, it is a dry comedy series that satirizes an actor's move to Hollywood, and the comical banality behind show-business, a reality that the media often chooses to conceal. In early 2015 McKenzie won the intensely contested role of John Jnr. Truebridge in Filthy Rich, New Zealand highest budgeted television production to date. Justin Hartley can currently be seen starring on NBC's critically acclaimed, award winning series, "This Is Us," alongside Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown and Chrissy Metz. Created by Dan Fogelman, "This Is Us" premiered in September 2016 and instantly broke ratings records, earning the freshman series an immediate two-season renewal, with season three set to premiere on September 25, 2018. The heartwarming, emotionally provocative drama follows a unique set of triplets and their wonderful parents, whose lives and struggles intertwine, challenging the everyday presumptions about the people you think you know. Hartley shines as Kevin Pearson, one-third of the "big three" and a successful, handsome actor that seemingly has it all. However, as the series has progressed, viewers have been captivated as Kevin's perfect life has deconstructed episode to episode; from struggling with addiction, coping with the death of his father, exposing the dysfunctional relationship with both his mother and brother, and his heartbreaking longing to be loved and accepted by his own family. Hartley and his cast members most recently won the 2018 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and the show picked up five additional Emmy nominations in 2018, following 33 award wins and 80 nominations over the last two years, and counting.
On the film front, Hartley was recently cast in the Universal comedy "Little," opposite Issa Rae and Regina Hall. He also starred in "A Bad Moms Christmas" (STX Entertainment) opposite Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn as the hilarious scene stealer, Ty Swindle. Additional film credits for Hartley include: "Another Time," which he also executive produced, indie "Race you to the Bottom," "Red Canyon," opposite Norman Reedus and Christine Lakin, "Spring Breakdown," opposite Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, and Seth Meyers, "A Way with Murder," opposite Michael Madsen, and the award-winning, boxing indie "The Challenger" for Vision Films.
Born in Knoxville, Ill., and raised in Orland Park, Ill., Hartley had a love for bringing characters to life at an early age and began to take acting seriously once he got to college. He attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale and University of Illinois at Chicago, majoring in History and Theatre. Upon graduation, he decided to make the move to Los Angeles, packing up his truck with no money or a job, to give the entertainment industry a shot.
In 2002, Hartley landed his first regular gig on the daytime soap "Passions," a role he held until 2006. He then starred as billionaire Oliver Queen (the Green Arrow) on the long running, hit CW series "Smallville." Hartley was able to showcase his talents behind the camera as well, writing ("Sacrifice," Season 9) and directing ("Dominion," Season 10) two episodes. Once "Smallville" came to an end, Hartley went on to appear on a handful of hit series including: "Chuck," "Castle," and "Hart of Dixie." In 2012, he returned to the CW as a series regular on the medical drama "Emily Owens, M.D.," opposite Mamie Gummer. Throughout 2013-16, Hartley juggled a handful of TV projects, appearing on 12 episodes of ABC's "Revenge," 16 episodes of ABC's summertime drama "Mistresses," and taking over the role of Adam Newman in the long-running CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless." Hartley was nominated for a 2016 Daytime Emmy Award for Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work on the show. While filming "Y&R," it was announced that Hartley would be joining the cast of NBC's fall 2016 passion project, "This Is Us."
