Ronald Radd displays his wonderful comic timing in this slap-dash comedy from Britain's chapter of MGM. Radd gets the only real moments of comedy in the entire movie. He plays Harry King, the father of Patsy (Annette Andre). He introduces Patsy to David Kelly (Frank Ifield), the country singing star of the film. Kelly sings his pop songs throughout the film with only minor relation to any plot. However, Radd scores as the leader of a bubbling crew of would-be thieves who have their eyes on a jewelry store, which they plan on robbing by going through the floorboard of Kelly's apartment.

Again Radd plays a villain with an accent. Here he is Roberto Vittorini, an Italian film producer, who is over his head in debt and problems. He has his film stars, Serena Harris (Suzanne Lloyd) and Tig Jordan (Leon Greene), kidnapped so that he can collect the insurance money paid out for the ransom. As usual, Simon Templar, the Saint (Roger Moore), has to maneuver around a cast of shady characters to figure out who is behind the kidnapping, and rescue the victims.
