Mayhem ensues as the pair strive to cope with day-to-day life. One of the first series that I know to have adopted the Point of View camera style. Six series have been made and a seventh is to air in the UK shortly. Having won BAFTA awards and “Best TV comedy actor” award for Dave Mitchell, who plays Mark. This has become a cult hit in the UK.
- StarsJulian BarrattNoel FieldingMichael FieldingSurreal British comedy in which Vince Noir and Howard Moon have adventures filled with oddball characters while working as Zoo Keepers, before pursuing a musical career and running a second-hand shop.
- StarsJack DavenportGina BellmanSarah AlexanderSix best friends talk about all aspects of sex and relationships on their never-ending quest to find true love. Many people have drawn comparisons between "Coupling" and "Friends". I'll admit there are similarities. Six friends in the city living out their lives. But what Moffat has created is a comedy with multiple levels, superb plots and fantastic comedy. The performances from the six main actors are superb. The Programme is quite simply the best of the best sitcom on British TV
- StarsMiranda HartPatricia HodgeSarah HadlandSocially inept Miranda always gets into awkward situations; working in her joke shop with best friend Stevie, being hounded by her pushy mother, and around her crush Gary.To tell you the truth, there are not many female comedians that can make me laugh. It is just not my type of humor. But I can gladly make an exception for this Miranda Hart-show. Okay, sometimes it is a bit over the top, on a few occasions it is slightly tedious and worn out, but in general this is a very funny and intelligently written situation comedy. I love it when Miranda talks or gestures to the audience, I love the absurd thoughts that go through her head and I love all the characters that surround her, especially Patricia Hodge as Miranda's mother. Of course Hart is a brilliant actress
- CreatorVictoria PileStarsSally BrettonOliver ChrisOlivia ColmanFunky hospital-based sketch-comedy-drama type show.I have to say, the show would be nothing without Michelle Gomez. She is fantastic beyond all reason and each one of her scenes has me in stitches. Really, she is a comedy genius, and deserves more screen time! Her scenes with Julian (Mac) are comedy gold.
I am pleased to see a completely original comedy such as Green Wing doing so well. - CreatorGraham LinehanArthur MathewsStarsKevin EldonMark HeapSimon PeggA British sketch comedy show where people in ordinary situations suddenly find themselves in absurd situations. This is an awesome show. No laugh track, completely deadpan the entire time, and i think generally massively underrated. Primarily the work of the lads from Father Ted, i would rate this show (and particularly the first series) as my favourite sketch comedy show of all time.
- StarsDermot MorganArdal O'HanlonFrank KellyThree misfit priests and their housekeeper live on Craggy Island, not the peaceful and quiet part of Ireland that it seems to be.I can only say that the TV will never be the same without Father Ted. I know it ended so long ago.
- StarsJohn CleesePrunella ScalesAndrew SachsHotel owner Basil Fawlty's incompetence, short fuse, and arrogance form a combination that ensures accidents and trouble are never far away. There are many comedies where you give some laughs or simply are amused during the show. Fawlty Towers is different. You are laughing hard from the start to the climax. It's actually quite a simple humor, but played by huge and pretty strong characters that together make up a marvelous show. Every episode is a sure laugh.
- StarsSteve CooganRebecca FrontPatrick MarberAlan Partridge hosts his own chat show on the BBC. He insults and belittles almost all of his guests and is humiliated by the rest.If you're not familiar with Alan I seriously recommend you get some of his stuff pronto, cos it is just too much fun.

- StarsSimon PeggJessica HynesJulia DeakinFriends Tim and Daisy, 20-something North Londoners with uncertain futures, must pretend to be a couple to live in the only apartment they can afford. There simply isn't a better TV comedy around at the moment than Spaced. Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson's scriptwriting is so sharp and full of references it can sometimes be hard to keep up through the onslaught of hilarious jokes. With such well rounded characters it is just too good for words, it is the recognition humour and references that make this a wonderful comedy.
