Yashiro Isana (Shiro) is a high school student who is being hunted by two groups of highly motivated groups. The Blue Coats, (specialists under the Blue King who police the other king's followers) who think he is a murderer of a 'King' and the group powered by the Red King, who have a vid of someone who looks like Shiro shooting one of their members. Confused? There are several 'kings' who each have a Sword of Damocles over their heads, which shows their 'color'. The supernatural power which these kings have are shared by those who join their close knit groups. The art is amazing and there is action in nearly every episode. 9/10*

Summer Wars is an amazing mesh-up of rural Japan and contemporary Japan. The story is very well crafted and is a look at what happens when all your digital life suddenly turns into a struggle for life and death. The characters are wonderful and though there is a very serious nature to the story, there is always humor as well. 10/10*

Sword Art Online is another amazing tech heavy series that takes social media and online gaming to another level. In the year 2022, the Virtual reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG), Sword Art Online (SAO) a person enters the game by putting on a virtual reality helmet. The word SAO is breathtaking. Imagine being inside the game of Dragon Age. Everyone enters on the same level, a virtual world of Sword & Sorcery.
They must reach the 100th floor battling either in groups or as loners, but if they die, they die for real because the inventor of the game has made it so that if anyone removes their VR helmets, they instantly become brain dead. So they must survive the game. Some try straight away to leave, and die.
The series is a struggle of the human spirit and learning to work together or die alone. 10/10*
