Terence Schreurs was born in a little village called Bovenkarspel. The daughter of Jacques Schreurs, a drummer of a rock'n'roll band and a businessman at IBM and Tine Schreurs a hair designer. Her mother Tine Schreurs is originally from a beautiful Island in Indonesia called Serua but lived in New Guinea Merauke. After WWII and the occupation of the Japanese her family fled to the Netherlands where she worked hard to start a new life and career in a new culture. This is where she met Jacques. They fell in love and started a loving family.
Schreurs spent the early years of her life in a little village near Amsterdam. She always chased storytelling adventures and wanted to be a dancer. For Schreurs the village was too small and she became rebellious. At the age of 15 she moved into the city and got into an art school. Her parents always supported and helped her to be independent and to follow her dreams. She loved the drama classes at school and started thinking and talking about becoming an actress. She took extra classes at multiple theater schools and institutes in the Netherlands, such as Theater School Amsterdam (AHK), Academy of Performative Arts Maastricht and ArteZ in Arnhem. She cooked, did groceries and assisted some great actors and filmmakers to get information about acting, screenwriting and the industry. From 2003 till 2013 she worked with great coaches such as Mark W. Travis (LA), Judith Weston (LA), Hetty MacDonalds (UK) and Rutger Hauer (LA/NL). Amsterdam was her home and base for inspiration as an actress.
Terence Schreurs worked extensively in theatre throughout the Netherlands. In 2003 she made her first television debut in the successful crime series Baantjer. Soon she booked more jobs for television and film, including productions like Costa! (2001), All Stars, Spangen, Intensive Care, De Band and Annie MG. She became a well known actress in the Netherlands and by 2008 she starred in two feature films; De Punt, by Hanro Smitsman, about a train hijacking by Moluccan freedom fighters. And Ver Van Familie, by Marion Bloem, About a young woman leaving the US to find her dying grandmother to get the truth about her father.
Productions that followed included big parts in high end productions like Van God Los, Zusjes, De Verbouwing and Cornea. In 2015 a lead in Kristen followed, the Dutch and English thriller by Mark Weistra travelled the world and the film and Terence won multiple awards.
About a decade ago she started as an acting coach. After being a pupil of Mark Travis and teaching at multiple theater and acting schools she developed her own method based on finding the psychological core of the story and characters. How to become the character from this core and not "acting" it. She started her own school called the Wolf'Qademy in 2015. She became a well known acting coach and coached and directed actors on productions like (De Boskampi's), Baantjer het Begin and Mocro Maffia. In recent years she worked on the film Pantser which won best short at the Dutch Academy Awards and on the successful WWII Netflix international co-production The Forgotten Battle, which was Netflix's most watched feature film world wide in Autumn 2021 and won awards around the globe.- Céline Purcell was born on 14 March 1980 in The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. Chantal Janzen was born on February 15 in the southern part of the Netherlands, Limburg. To be exact, in the town of Tegelen. After she graduated HAVO in Tegelen, she started a study jazz theatre/show musical dance on the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Amsterdam. She grows up to be a dancer. Modern dance, jazz dance, acting, tap and musical show. She learns to do everything. To gain experience, she dances with the group Jazzcool in her college years.
Her dream to one day shine in a bigger musical production comes close as she starts an internship with Joop van den Ende Theaterproducties, the biggest production team in the Netherlands. She is soon cast as Lorraine Flemming in the musical 42nd Street and a musical star is born.
Since that role, her career has skyrocketed. In 2002 she played the leading role of Stefanie in Saturday Night Fever and in 2004 you can add two more to her resume: Kunt U Mij De Weg Naar Hamelen Vertellen, Meneer and Crazy For You. Since those musicals she has been the IT girl in the Netherlands and plays the lead role in the biggest musicals. For instance, Beauty and the Beast and Tarzan.
Even though musicals is where her heart lies, she starts acting more and more. After small guest roles on Dutch TV shows she stars in her first movie, Full Moon Party (2002). After that first role she was noticed in that area of expertise as well and played parts in movies such as Fighting Fish (2004) and De dominee (2004). Her international career started when she landed a small role in the American movie Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005).
Besides acting and being a big movie star, Chantal started a third career: presentation. She hosted the Staatsloterijshow Live, and the third year of Idols (Dutch American Idol) was hosted by Martijn Krabbe and herself.- Actress

Hannah Hoekstra receives her first Golden Calf Best Actress in 2012 for her role in Hemel. For her role in the feature film De Helleveeg, she receives her second Golden Calf Best Actress in 2016. One of Europe's most celebrated actresses, Carice van Houten is perhaps best known as 'Melisandre' in the iconic TV show Game of Thrones, a performance for which she has been recognized with an Emmy Award nomination in 2019. - Katja Herbers is the daughter of violinist Vera Beths and oboist Werner Herbers. Growing up she spent time in America, accompanying her mother on tour with the chamber music group L'Archibudelli. Her mother remarried cellist Anner Bylsma and her father remarried costume designer Leonie Polak, who introduced her to the theater. She had a Canadian au pair and learned to speak Dutch, German, and English growing up.

She then joined the renowned Munich Kammerspiele in Germany. She worked with directors such as Alex van Warmerdam, Ivo van Hove and Theu Boermans under whose direction she performed many Schnitzler plays, including his monologue Fräulein Else, for which she received rave reviews. In 2013, she won the Guido de Moor Award for young talent, for her portrayal of Irina in Chekhov's Three Sisters. She played a lead role in Theu Boermans' The Chosen, which won an International Emmy and the prestigious Prix D'Europe.
Katja is also a gifted singer and has performed Im Wunderschönen Monat Mai - a composition inspired by the great Schubert and Schumann songs by Reinbert de Leeuw especially written for an actress.
While achieving many successes on stage, Katja continued filming as well. She worked with the Oscar Nominated and International Emmy Awarded Director Ben Sombogaart on the Dutch blockbuster feature De storm (2009). Critics raved about her portrayal of the Dutch Queen (then Princess) Maxima in the mini-series Beatrix, Oranje onder Vuur (2012). Rudolf van den Berg directed her in the feature film Süskind (2012), in which she played the right hand of Dutch war hero Walter Süskind, who helped escape over a thousand children during World War II. Jelle de Jonge directed her in the romantic comedy Love Over Distance (2017), which she co-wrote.
Really all of Holland knows her for her portrayal of the emotionally unstable but lovable Joyce in the TV hit series Divorce (2012), which glues a record breaking 25% of all Dutch television viewers to the screen every Sunday evening.
Internationally, Katja is known for playing physicist Helen Prins on Sam Shaw's Manhattan (2014). She had a recurring role on season three of FX's The Americans (2013). She played Dr. Eden on the final season of HBO's The Leftovers (2014), and starred opposite Mark Duplass in Manhunt (2017).

Emily Abigail Ashley Hoes was born on May 20th, 1994 in the city of Rotterdam. At the age of 10 she started taking singing, dancing and acting lessons at the Hofplein Children's theatre. After a couple of auditions for musical-theater she discovered that acting instead of singing was where her heart was and landed a role in a television commercial for Roosvicee soft drink. She made her screen debut in 2009 as Maite in the critically acclaimed "Maite Was Here". She went on to star in the films "Furious", "To Be King" and "Nina Satana" and had supporting roles in "Lover or Loser", "Tirza" and the award-winning "Finnemans". She was named one of the "Most promising young talents" of the 2012 Dutch Film Festival. In 2014 she won the Dutch Film Award (Gouden Kalf) for Best Actress in a Feature Film and in 2015 she was one of the Shooting Stars at the Berlinale, both for her starring role in "Nena". Sylvia Hoeks has been living and working in the US for the past 6 years. Born in the Netherlands, she was scouted by Elite Models at age 14 and traveled the world to model. After doing this, she finished high school and attended the Maastricht Theatre Academy.
After graduation, she made her national breakthrough with the Jos Stelling film, Duska (2007), for which she won a Golden Calf (the Dutch equivalent of the Oscars) at the annual Dutch Film Festival. Sylvia quickly became in-demand for both stage and screen directors and stars in prestigious Dutch TV series, like Overspel (2011) (VARA), Bloedverwanten (2010) (AVRO) and several theatre plays.
Within two years after graduating, Sylvia had the opportunity to play her first leading role as "Julia" in the feature film, De storm (2009) (Ben Sombogaart, 2009), which became a major box office hit. The film was a national success and reached the Stony Brook Film Festival (NY, USA) and Festroia International Film Festival (Setubal, Portugal), where she received the award for "best actress".
In 2010, Sylvia starred as "Tirza" in the feature film, Tirza (2010), by director Rudolf van den Berg, which won the "Best Film" award at Festroia International Film Festival in Portugal. In 2011, Sylvia was presented at the Berlinale as Shooting Star, the unique Pan European initiative which puts a spotlight on Europe's best actors.
In 2011, Sylvia played the main character, "Johanna", in the feature film, The Gang of Oss (2011). Halina Reijn is a renowned director, actress, author and producer. She is the winner of multiple awards, including the Dutch film Award, the Golden Calf for Best Actress , the Dutch theater awards Theo D'Or and Colombina, as well as the Courbois pearl, an oeuvre award which honours an actress who has made an indelible impression, both on stage as in film and television. Since 2017 she is also the proud owner of the Theo Mann-Bouwmeester Ring, an award to honour an actress who has contributed greatly to the Dutch theatre.
Her critically acclaimed directorial feature film debut INSTINCT (2019), starring Carice van Houten (GAME OF THRONES) and Marwan Kenzari (ALADDIN) has been selected for film festivals in Locarno (winner Variety Piazza Grande Award and special mention First Feature Competition), Toronto (world cinema competition), BFI Londen (Sutherland competition), Gent and Chicago, and is the foreign language Oscar submission of The Netherlands. Thekla Reuten is an undeniable front-runner in the new century's wave of European actresses lauded on the international stage and screen. In the space of just three years, the Dutch actress was a prominent member of two Best Picture Oscar nominees in the Foreign Language Feature category. In the Belgian comedy-drama "Everybody's Famous!" and the 2002 Dutch offering "Twin Sisters," she presented herself to international audiences as a force to be reckoned with. Lisa Smit first came to the public's attention as the female star of the children's horror film Gruesome School Trip (2005) which was a national box office hit and went on to win awards in both the United States and Great-Britain.
After starring in the acclaimed youth series Willemspark (2007) Lisa starred in the psychological thriller TBS (2008), which under its international title Nothing To Lose (2008) won the prestigious Golden Film Award (for over 100.000 tickets sold at the box office) and also won Best Feature at the Philadelphia International Film Festival.
Concentrating on school for a while, Lisa returned to the big screen in 2010 with the leading female role in the arthouse movie Shocking Blue (2010). She also filmed a guest starring role in the popular police series Flikken Maastricht (2007), for a season's ending which was viewed by an audience of close to two million people.
Also in 2010, Lisa filmed a supporting role in Lena (2011), the new movie by acclaimed Flemish director Christophe van Rompaey, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2011. In 2011, Lisa filmed her first starring role in an international production, as Laura Werner in Quellen Des Lebens by German writer-director Oskar Roehler. The movie had its Berlin premiere on February 5, 2013 and was released nationwide on February 14.
Quellen Des Lebens was nominated for Best Film at the German Film Awards 2013. Lisa also starred in the Dutch series Max & Billy's Drill Machine Girl, which was nominated for an International Emmy Award.
Lisa also co-starred in the youth series Zusjes and the historical epic Kenau, which had its international premiere at the Stony Brook Festival in New York, where it won the Audience Award for Best Feature.
Lisa then went on to star in the short film The Last Day of Summer, which was directed by Feike Santbergen and had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
