At age six, Hales made her stage debut as "The Shrunken Alice" in a production of Alice in Wonderland, at the Seacoast Repertory Theater in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where she grew up. Jacob Wayne Young was born in Renton, Washington, to now-divorced parents Michael and Rhonda, joining siblings Michael, Tiffany and Charity. After spending his childhood in both Washington and Oregon, he caught the acting bug doing high-school musicals. Without any prior professional acting work on his resume, Young scored big at the tender age of 18 when he landed the part of Eric Forrester Jr, called Rick, on the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful (1987). Following his debut on December 31, 1997 the newcomer quickly gained frontburner-status and formed a highly popular love couple with Adrienne Frantz's Amber Moore. Despite earning a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1999 and getting the chance to incorporate his singing ambitions on the show, Young opted to leave amidst a red-hot storyline to pursue other opportunities in the Fall of 1999. In 2000, Young landed the coveted recast role of Lucky, son of Luke and Laura Spencer on General Hospital (1963), for which he won the 2002 Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Younger Actor. He left this show in February 2003 looking to spread his wings. Surprisingly, Young returned to daytime television a mere 6-months-later once again taking over the highly coveted part of the son of a core patriarch: now stepping in as JR Chandler on All My Children (1970). This role caused the actor to move to New York City - and as part of the deal Young got to make his Broadway debut, playing Lumiére from May to August 2006 in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast". He had previously released an eponymous CD, Jacob Young, in 2001. For his work on "All My Children" Young received two further Daytime Emmy Nominations, including one as Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2009. He stayed with the show - also playing the same role on sister-show One Life to Live (1968) on several occasions during a highly-rated baby switch-storyline - until its cancellation in 2011. Proving his track record as being one of the most-sought actors of his generation amongst soap opera executives, Young was instantly snatched up by The Bold And The Beautiful. After returning to the series that started his career, Young is once again playing Rick Forrester on the CBS daytime drama and in 2012 also brought his character to The Young and the Restless (1973) for a one-day-visit. Young is married to his longtime girlfriend, Christen Steward, a model, since May 2007 and the couple shares two children.- Jacob was raised in Chicago and began his career in the Chicagoland theater scene. His first project was on screen with Drunkboat, starring alongside John Malkovich, John Goodman, and Dana Delaney, which spurred him to move to Los Angeles. Within six months of being in Los Angeles he booked the lead in his first pilot audition for Greek, which ran for four years with syndication on Netflix. Since the finale of the show, Jacob continued his showcase across a wide range of projects. He recorded voice overs on King of the Hill and Surf's Up, guest starred on CSI, House, and Transformers: The Last Knight, worked on a variety of new media projects, including Legendary Digital's first acquired film The Hive, and booked six national commercials last year, a highlight being Subaru, directed by BAFTA award winner Lance Acord. In his free time, he has gone behind the camera to produce the short film Hidden America about homelessness in Sacramento and comedic pilots, Scrappers and Action Dan.

Jacqueline Bisset has been an international film star since the late '60s. She received her first roles mainly because of her stunning beauty, but over time she has become a fine actress respected by fans and critics alike. Bisset has worked with directors John Huston, François Truffaut, George Cukor and Roman Polanski. Her co-stars have included Anthony Quinn, Paul Newman, Nick Nolte, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Kenneth Branagh and Marcello Mastroianni.
Her somewhat French-sounding name has led many to assume that she is from France, but she was brought up in England and had to study to learn French. Her mother was French and was an attorney before being married. As a child Jacqueline studied ballet. During her teenage years her father left the family when her mother was diagnosed with disseminating sclerosis; Jacqueline worked as a model to support her ailing mother and eventually her parents divorced, an experience she has said she considered character-strengthening. She took an early interest in film, and her modeling career helped pay for acting lessons.
In 1967 Bisset gained her first critical attention in Two for the Road (1967), and that same year appeared in the popular James Bond spoof Casino Royale (1967), playing Miss Goodthighs. In 1968 her career got a boost when Mia Farrow unexpectedly dropped out of the shooting of The Detective (1968); Farrow's marriage to co-star Frank Sinatra was on the rocks, and her role was eventually given to Bisset, who received special billing in the film's credits. In the following year she earned a Golden Globe nomination as Most Promising Newcomer for The Sweet Ride (1968) and gained even more attention playing opposite Steve McQueen in the popular action film Bullitt (1968). In 1970 she was featured in the star-studded disaster film Airport (1970) and had the main role in The Grasshopper (1970). Then she co-starred with Alan Alda in the well-reviewed but commercially underperforming horror movie, The Mephisto Waltz (1971). In 1973 she became recognized in Europe as a serious actress when she played the lead in Truffaut's Day for Night (1973). However, it would be several years before her talents would be taken seriously in the US. Though she scored another domestic hit with Murder on the Orient Express (1974), her part in it, as had often been the case, was decorative. She did appear to good effect in Believe in Me (1971), Le Magnifique (1973), The Sunday Woman (1975) and St. Ives (1976).
Jacqueline's stunning looks and figure made quite a splash in The Deep (1977). Her underwater swimming scenes in that movie inspired the worldwide wet T-shirt craze, and Newsweek magazine declared her "the most beautiful film actress of all time." The film's producer, Peter Guber, said "That T-shirt made me a rich man." However, she hated the wet T-shirt scenes because she felt exploited. At the time of filming she was not told that the filmmakers would shoot the scenes in such a provocative way, and she felt tricked. On the plus side, the huge success of the picture made Bisset officially bankable. She was next seen in high-profile roles in The Greek Tycoon (1978), a thinly disguised fictionalization of the marriage of Jacqueline Kennedy and Aristotle Onassis, and Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? (1978), for which she received a Golden Globe nomination as Best Actress in a Comedy.
In the early '80s, Bisset starred in the box office disasters When Time Ran Out... (1980) and Inchon (1981), but her well-received turn opposite Candice Bergen in Rich and Famous (1981) between those two films helped gain her recognition as a serious actress from American audiences. She rebounded neatly with Class (1983) and Under the Volcano (1984), getting a Golden Globe nomination as Best Supporting Actress for the latter. She also earned praise for her work in the excellent made-for-cable WWII drama Forbidden (1984), then appeared on network TV in adaptations of Anna Karenina (1985) with Christopher Reeve and Napoleon and Josephine: A Love Story (1987) with Armand Assante. In 1989 she co-starred in the raunchy yet witty comedy Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills (1989) and the erotic thriller Wild Orchid (1989), neither of which fared too well, but her output remained consistent. As she transitioned seamlessly out of her ingenue years, smaller-scale productions such as CrimeBroker (1993) and Leave of Absence (1994) would provide Bisset with plum roles, even if they went largely unseen.
In 1996 she was nominated for a César Award, the French equivalent of the Oscar, for her performance in Claude Chabrol's La Cérémonie (1995). She held roles in period pieces like Dangerous Beauty (1998), as well as the Biblical epics Jesus (1999) and In the Beginning (2000). Other notable credits included the miniseries Joan of Arc (1999) alongside Leelee Sobieski, which gained her an Emmy nomination, and The Sleepy Time Gal (2001), which premiered at Sundance but unfortunately was not picked up for theatrical distribution. In 2005 Jacqueline was back on the big screen, playing Keira Knightley's mother in the Domino Harvey biopic Domino (2005) for Tony Scott. In 2006 she appeared in the fourth season of Nip/Tuck (2003) as the ruthless extortionist "James." Bisset then turned in strong performances in Boaz Yakin's disturbing independent drama Death in Love (2008) and the telepic An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving (2008), garnering accolades for both. In 2013 she appeared in BBC's program Dancing on the Edge (2013), for which she finally won her first Golden Globe. She followed that up with the movies Welcome to New York (2014) with Gérard Depardieu and Miss You Already (2015) with Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette.
2016 saw the long-awaited release of Linda Yellen's comedy The Last Film Festival (2016), where Jacqueline was a riot as a washed-up Italian diva alongside Dennis Hopper in his final role. Since then she's kept busy on the indie circuit, appearing in Backstabbing for Beginners (2018) with Ben Kingsley, Here and Now (2018) with Sarah Jessica Parker, and Asher (2018) with Ron Perlman and Famke Janssen, as well as the Amazon original movie Birds of Paradise (2021) and a title role in Loren & Rose (2022).
Bisset has never married, but has been involved in long-term romantic relationships with Canadian actor Michael Sarrazin, Moroccan entrepreneur Victor Drai, Russian ballet dancer Alexander Godunov, Swiss actor Vincent Perez and Turkish martial arts instructor Emin Boztepe. She continues to make numerous films, and frequently participates in film festivals and award ceremonies around the world.- Jacqueline Bracamontes was born on 23 December 1979 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She is an actress, known for Rubí (2004), Entrenando a mi papá (2015) and Alegrijes y rebujos (2003). She has been married to Martin Fuentes since 1 October 2011. They have six children.

In 1968 her brother-in-law, Robert F. Kennedy, was also assassinated. The combination of the death of two children and the murders of her husband and brother-in-law proved to be too much for her, and she came to the conclusion that she and her family could not live safely in the US any longer. Actress Jacqueline Obradors is currently enjoying the success of her latest feature, 'Palm Springs,' in which she appears with Andy Samberg and Oscar-winner JK Simmons. Just like the record-breaking summer temperatures of the titular city, the film broke records after a bidding war ensued dating back to Sundance where Hulu won out. No stranger to coveted roles on a streaming service, Obradors has also starred opposite Titus Welliver in the last three seasons of Amazon's acclaimed 'Bosch' drama series.
Bad-ass detective roles seem to be one of her fortes, as Obradors previously starred for Steven Bochco on four seasons of his acclaimed, 'NYPD Blue' which garnered her a prestigious ALMA Award nomination, and paved the way for her role opposite Freddie Prinze, Jr. in his 'Freddie' comedy series. She's also enjoyed memorable recurring arcs beginning with 'Jesse' opposite Christina Applegate, 'Battery Park' with Frank Grillo, 'NCIS,' 'Franklin & Bash 'alongside Kumal Nanjiani, and finally 'Lopez' opposite the show's namesake, George Lopez.
Obradors has also made her mark on the big screen since her debut in the action film, 'Red Sun Rising'. She since transitioned into Ivan Reitman's romantic comedy 'Six Days Seven Nights' opposite Harrison Ford which garnered her a Blockbuster Entertainment Award nomination. She more recently reunited with Ford in 'Crossing Over' which co-starred Ray Liotta. Other notable film roles include 'Deuce Bigelow' with Adam Sandler and Amy Poehler, 'A Man Apart' in which she starred opposite Vin Diesel, 'Unstoppable' with Wesley Snipes, and the drama 'Windows on the World' with Oscar nominee Edward James Olmos. She earned her second ALMA Award nomination for her turn as Hector Elizondo's daughter in the acclaimed, 'Tortilla Soup.'

Red-haired Jacqueline Sue Scott began her career in show biz as a three-year-old by winning a tap-dancing contest. Though she once self-deprecatingly described herself as "the worst child tap dancer ever to haunt an audience" she made the successful transition from juvenile performer in tent shows to accomplished leading and character actress with an impressive number of screen credits to her resume.
The daughter of John D. Scott and Maxine Finley, Jackie was born in the small town of Sikeston, Missouri. She began acting professionally from the age of 17 with a small St. Louis community theatre company. She then moved to New York, graduated from New York's Hunter College, did some admin work for David Sarnoff at RCA and eventually studied acting under Uta Hagen. Her breakthrough came when she was chosen by the distinguished thespian Louis Calhern to play the part of his granddaughter in The Wooden Dish on Broadway. Mentored by Calhern (who undoubtedly taught her many tricks of the trade) Jackie was cast that same year opposite Paul Muni in Inherit the Wind, playing a young lass in love with the hapless teacher at the center of the infamous 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial.
On the strength of some early television work in live anthology drama, Jacqueline was brought to Hollywood by William Castle, well-known as a producer of gimmicky low-budget horror movies. Her debut big screen appearance was to be in Macabre (1958), a picture shot in just seven days for a reputed investment of around $90,000. No audience members 'died of fright', nor were any of the $1000 life insurance policies handed out to audiences as part of the publicity campaign cashed in. While certainly no critical masterpiece, the enterprise managed to gross a cool $5 million. More importantly for Jacqueline was meeting on the set of Macabre her future husband (screenwriter and photographer Gene Lesser who also became her agent). Their marriage lasted an impressive (especially by Hollywood standards) 62 years.
Jacqueline's prolific output during the succeeding three decades consisted primarily of TV guest spots. Very much 'a working actress, she could always be counted upon to portray strength and give quietly effective performances, even in relatively passive roles like those many sympathetic wives and girlfriends in assorted Quinn Martin productions of the 60s and 70s. Among her better-known roles were Donna Kimble Taft, sister of David Janssen's man-on-the-run in five installments of The Fugitive (1963), the wife of an astronaut stranded in an alternate universe in The Parallel (1963) and the chimpanzee physician Dr. Kira (Roddy McDowall's friend) in Planet of the Apes (1974) (for which she had to undergo a three-hour make-up session). She later quipped in an interview: "When some of the crew said how pretty I looked, I knew they had been on the show too long!"
In films, Jacqueline was also frequently cast as supportive spouses: Walter Matthau's in Charley Varrick (1973) (her own personal favorite), Dennis Weaver's in Steven Spielberg's directorial debut picture Duel (1971) and James Stewart's in the western Firecreek (1968). A sturdier outdoorsy part came her way via the monster flick Empire of the Ants (1977) in which she found herself pitted against giant killer insects, along with co-stars Robert Lansing and (a less glamorous than usual) Joan Collins. Jackie's frequent forays into the Wild West included repeat appearances in Have Gun - Will Travel (1957), Laramie (1959), Bonanza (1959) and Gunsmoke (1955).- Actress

Jacqueline Toboni was born the youngest of five children. She is a native San Franciscan. Before graduating from Saint Ignatius College Preparatory, Jacqueline performed in the Young Conservatory at the American Conservatory Theatre (A.C.T.). Jacqueline graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA Theatre class. In addition, she studied at many theatre programs including the Williamstown Theatre Festival as an apprentice, the Movement Theatre Studio in New York, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Before graduating, she left U of M to accept a recurring role on NBC's Grimm (2011).- Warm, charming leading lady of 1940s films, Jacqueline White was under contract to both MGM (which wasted her in mostly unbilled bits) and then RKO, where she appeared in two classics--Crossfire (1947) and The Narrow Margin (1952). RKO used her as a second lead in A pictures and leading roles in Bs.
She retired in 1950 upon her marriage to Bruce Anderson and they relocated to Wyoming, where her husband started an oil business. When she returned to Los Angeles for the birth of her first child, she was spotted in the RKO commissary visiting friends by director Richard Fleischer and producer Stanley Rubin, who offered her a co-starring role in "The Narrow Margin". The film, widely acknowledged to be one of the classics of "film noir", sat on the RKO shelf for two years while studio boss Howard Hughes considered whether to extensively edit it or re-shoot it as an "A" with Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell. Eventually, selected scenes were reshot and added in December 1951, nearly a year after the film had originally wrapped--she was flown out from her home in Casper, Wyoming, for these added scenes--and the film was, thankfully, spared any more of Hughes' "improvements". It was released mostly intact due to director Fleischer's striking a deal with Hughes to release the picture without further changes in return for Fleischer's reshooting the end of His Kind of Woman (1951).

Born in Paris, France, in 1952. Jacques Audiard's family has always been involved in movie business. His father, Michel, was a popular screenwriter and director and his uncle a producer. But in his teens he refused that world and wanted to be a teacher. He studied literature and philosophy at the Sorbonne but didn't finish his degree. By that time, his then girlfriend suggested he work as a trainee editor during his university holidays. He worked as an assistant editor on several movies like "Le locataire" (1976) directed by Roman Polanski.
He also joined a theater where he did all kinds of work. He specially enjoyed adapting works for stage. In the eighties he wrote the screenplays of some successful movies like "Mortelle Randonnee" (1983), "Reveillon Chez Bob" (1984), "Saxo" (1987), "Frequence meurtre" (1988) and "Grosse fatigue" (1994). Most of those films were thrillers directed by prestigious filmmakers like Claude Miller and Michel Blanc. He also directed some well received short movies.
Thanks to the success of those movies he was able, in 1994, to raise up the money to make his first movie "Regarde les hommes tomber" a somber road movie starred by two of the most important French actors: Mathieu Kassovitz and Jean Louis Trintignant. That movie won 3 Cesars of the French academy for best editing, best new director (Jacques Audiard) and best new actor (for Kassovitz).
Kassovitz also became the star of his second movie "Un heros tres discret" released in the Festival de Cannes in 1996 where it won the award for best screenplay. "Un heros tres discret" undermined the myth of the French resistance to the Nazis by telling the story of a young impostor who rises high in French society after World war by concocting a past for himself as a hero. It also won awards in the festivals of Stockholm and Valladolid and made his name internationally.
In 2001 he made his third movie "Sur mes levres". The love story between two outsiders (a deaf office worker and a hoodlum) who decide to con a group of gangsters also became a success. It also won three Cesars (best actress, sound and screenplay).
His last movie, "De battre mon Coeur sest arrête" (a remake of "Fingers" a James Toback's movie) was released in the Berlin festival of 2005.
With those movies, Audiard has become the new master of the "polar" (French thriller) and inheritor of others great French directors like Jean-Pierre Melville (1917-1973) and Henri Georges-Clouzot (1907-1977).- Writer

His interest in films was stimulated by a meeting with King Vidor, who offered him employment in the US as actor and assistant director. However, he remained in France and became assistant to Jean Renoir, a friend of the family, during that director's peak period (1932-39). In 1934 he ventured briefly into independent production, co-directing with Pierre Prévert a short film, Pitiless Gendarme (1935). In 1935 he turned out a five-reeler, Tête de turc (1935), which he later refused to acknowledge as his.
In 1939 he began shooting a feature film, Cristobal's Gold (1940), but walked out after three weeks, leaving the film to be finished by Jean Stelli. In 1942, after a year in a German prisoner-of-war camp, he began his career as director. His entire output consisted of only 13 films, but they include some of the most artistically and technically substantial in French cinema. He is one of the few Old Guard directors done honor by the New Wave, which reveres him for his masterpieces, the atmospheric period love story Casque d'Or (1952) and the superb prison escape drama The Hole (1960), and also for his lesser films, such charming love tales as Antoine & Antoinette (1947) and Edward and Caroline (1951), in which he vividly depicts French social milieus through careful attention to background. His Touchez pas au grisbi (1954), a gangster film distinguished for its detailed action and penetration of character, exerted considerable influence on subsequent série noire French films. He was less successful with such commercial ventures as Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves (1954), which was dominated by Fernandel, and Montparnasse 19 (1958), a biographical sketch of the last years in the life of Modigliani. Becker's widow is French stage and screen actress Françoise Fabian (b. Michèle Cortès de Leone y Fabianera, 1932, Algiers). He was the father of director Jean Becker.- Jacques Bergerac was born on 26 May 1927 in Biarritz, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France. He was an actor, known for Gigi (1958), Missione speciale Lady Chaplin (1966) and Un homme se penche sur son passé (1958). He was married to Dorothy Malone and Ginger Rogers. The comic genius Jacques Tati was born Taticheff, descended from a noble Russian family. His grandfather, Count Dimitri, had been a general in the Imperial Army and had served as military attaché to the Russian Embassy in Paris. His father, Emmanuel Taticheff, was a well-to-do picture framer who conducted his business in the fashionable Rue de Castellane and had taken a Dutch-Italian woman, Marcelle Claire van Hoof, as his wife. To Emmanuel's lasting dismay, Jacques had no intention of following in the family trade of framing and restoration. Instead, he went on to pursue an education (specialising in arts and engineering) at the military academy of Lycée de Saint Germain-en-laye. After graduating, his main preoccupation became sports. He already boxed and played tennis and was introduced to rugby during a sojourn in London. Back in Paris, he joined the Racing Club de France (1925-30), and for some time seriously contemplated a career as a professional rugby player. However, Jacques also had an uncanny talent for pantomime, imitating athletes at his school to the amusement of classmates and teachers. By the time he had reached the age of 24, encouraged by his success as an entertainer in the annual revue of the Racing Club, he suddenly decided to combine his two passions and, without further ado, entered the world of show business.
From 1931, Jacques toured the Parisian music halls, theatres and circuses with his impersonations, acrobatics, drunk waiter and comic tennis routines (the latter would be famously re-enacted by his alter ego, Monsieur Hulot). He had by this time changed his name to 'Tati' in order to accommodate theatre bills. The French magazine "Le Jour" was among the first to acknowledge his growing popularity, describing Jacques as "a clown of great talent". At the same time, he made his screen debut in a series of short featurettes, tailored to show off his practised gags, notably Oscar, champion de tennis (1932) and Watch Your Left (1936) ("Watch your left", a very funny boxing sketch). The Second World War, military service and inherent strictures resulting from the German occupation put a temporary halt to his career. Then, in 1946, through a friend, the writer-director Claude Autant-Lara, Jacques obtained a small role in the whimsical fantasy Sylvie et le fantôme (1946), about a girl (Odette Joyeux) in love with a ghost (Tati).
The small township of Sainte-Sévère, where Tati had taken refuge during the occupation, served as inspiration for his first film, initially conceived as a one-reeler entitled "L'Ecole des facteurs" (School for Postmen). Unable to find widespread distribution, Tati decided to re-shoot the bucolic comedy --with himself in the central role -- as a feature film, using the villagers as extras and filming everything on location. And thus, Jour de Fête (1949) and Francois the village postman came into being. However, the film was soon overshadowed by his next enterprise and a critic of the satirical publication Le Canard Enchainé even proposed to fight a duel with anyone who would prefer "Jour de Fete" to Monsieur Hulot's Holiday (1953)!
With "Holiday", Tati reinvented the visual comedy of the silent era in a style not dissimilar to that of Max Linder. There is hardly any dialogue, except for background chatter, but natural and human noises are enhanced whenever required for the desired comic effect. The film is almost plotless, essentially comprised of a series of vignettes (to the recurring musical motif of Alain Romans's breezy 1952 composition "Quel temps fait-il à Paris?") at a seaside resort frequented by assorted holiday makers. All are stereotypical of their respective social class, as are the villagers themselves. Their inability to escape social conditioning and the stress they endure in the process of 'enjoying themselves' are observed with a keen satirical eye through their interaction with each other. At the centre is the ever-present character of the bumbling Monsieur Hulot, who arrives in a rickety 1924 Amilcar. Tall and reedy, clad in a poplin coat, wearing a crumpled hat, striped socks, trousers which are patently too short, rolled umbrella, a pipe firmly clenched between his teeth and perambulating with an odd stiff-legged gait, Hulot cuts an ungainly, yet hilarious figure. Well-meaning though he is, he invariably leaves disaster in his wake and departs the scene quickly as things go wrong, letting others sort out the mess. "Holiday" is more than just a brilliant collection of sight gags, but also an ironic observation of the foibles of human nature. Tati acknowledged the influence of both Buster Keaton and W.C. Fields in the creation of Hulot. Very much like Keaton or Charles Chaplin, he was also a consummate perfectionist who micro-managed each scene with unerring precision. Comedy for Tati was a serious business.
In Tati's subsequent ventures, Hulot became relegated from being the focus of the story to merely subordinate to its concept. As just one of many characters, Hulot weaves in and out of My Uncle (1958) and Playtime (1967), his simple, old-fashioned world contrasted sharply against the coldness of mechanisation, obsessive consumerism and the growing uniformity of houses and cities. "Playtime", shot in 70mm, took six years to make and required the creation of a massive glass and concrete high-rise set with myriad corridors and cubicles (dubbed 'Tativille' and built at a cost of $800,000) which raised the picture's total budget to $3 million and left Tati bankrupt. His next project, Trafic (1971), a satire of modern man's love of cars, failed to recoup these losses. Creditors impounded Tati's films, which were not re-released until 1977, when a canny Parisian distributor expunged his outstanding debts. Throughout his career, Tati remained obdurately committed to his artistic integrity and to his independence as a film maker. He was one of few directors who consistently employed non-professional actors. He turned down offers from Hollywood for a 15-minute series of television comedies, following the success of "Mon Oncle". He summed it all up by declaring "I could have satisfied the producers of the world by making a whole series of little Hulot films, and I would have made a lot of money. But I would not have been able to do what I like - work freely". (NY Times, November 6, 1982)- Actress

Jade Roberts is an actor and a highly valued celebrity impersonator based in Dallas, Texas, with global experience as an entertainer. He's primarily known for his work as a Sylvester Stallone impersonator, a journey that started when Roberts won a Rocky lookalike contest in college. For decades, he's toured with other celebrity impersonators and worked hundreds of solo gigs, most often as Rocky or Rambo, more recently adding Stallone's character from The Expendables franchise, Barney Ross, to his repertoire.
Roberts reaches far beyond the physical appearance of Stallone's characters to create a memorable, interactive experience for audiences and corporate events. He replicates the instantly recognizable sound of Sly, and incorporates familiar movie dialogue into his act, often improvising lines from the Hollywood legend's large body of work to fit the situation. It's the reason he's considered the premier Stallone impersonator in America and around the world.
Roberts has taken the impersonation of Stallone into films, most recently in the French dark comedy, C'est extra, starring Gerard Depardieu and written and directed by Guillaume Nicloux. His earlier impersonation work includes the 2013 parody comedy, The Starving Games. His role as a Stallone lookalike connected him on screen with other lookalike actors as a nod to The Expendables. The group has since created its own parody projects under the name, The Expandables.
The Florida native's other passion is physical fitness, and he's devoted years to helping others increase their strength and improve their health through his work as a fitness trainer. In Dallas, he operates Body by Jade and BodybyJadeFitness.com, using his training expertise and impersonation skills to help and motivate his clients. Roberts also trains and develops programs for clients at their homes and home gyms.
