Billy Burke was born and raised in Bellingham, Washington, USA. He began singing at age nine, and joined a band at age fifteen. He continued to work with bands and study/performing drama at Western Washington University. He performed in Seattle at the Annex Theater, New City Festival, and the A.H.A. Theater, though it was as a musician, not an actor, that Burke first moved to Los Angeles. A demo deal with a major record label that "didn't quite pan out", left him to explore the only other thing he "knew he was good at". With two independent films shot in his native Seattle under his belt, he began auditioning and very soon working as an actor.
He made his feature film debut in the independent film Daredreamer (1989). After a string of mostly "bad guy with facial hair" TV guest appearances, he landed his first studio picture role in the Zucker brothers' genre spoof Mafia! (1998). Capitalizing on his deadpan comedic sensibilities, he then won the title role in Dill Scallion (1999), the cult classic "mockumentary" about the rise and fall of a slightly touched country music singer. Co-starring in "Dill", was then fledgling writer/director Peter Berg. It was Berg who brought Billy back to television to play "Dr. Abe Matthews" in the acclaimed ABC drama Wonderland (2000). Although its life on the air was short-lived, Wonderland (2000) won the hearts of critics and fans, alike, and was recently re-released in its entirety on DirecTV.
Paramount's Along Came a Spider (2001) marked Billy's first revisit to studio films. He then returned yet again to television for the second season of Fox's mega hit series 24 (2001). His disturbing portrayal of abusive father and husband "Gary Matheson" still resonates as a fan favorite. In 2004, Billy teamed up with John Travolta and Joaquin Phoenix in the firefighter drama Ladder 49 (2004). It was here that the studios once again began to recognize his on-screen magnetism. So, after another steady stream of notable television performances, he was cast alongside Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling in New Line's hit thriller Fracture (2007), directed by NYPD Blue (1993) creator Gregory Hoblit. This multi-layered turn as a flawed cop snared by his own aberrations caught the eye of Academy Award winning director Robert Benton. Benton swiftly invited Billy to join the cast of his and Lakeshore Entertainment's Feast of Love (2007), which included Morgan Freeman and Greg Kinnear. As fate would have it, neither Gregory Hoblit nor Lakeshore had seen enough of Burke's dry wit and unshakable persona, so when it came time to find a match for Diane Lane in Untraceable (2008), he got the call to play the rock solid "Detective Eric Box". Since arriving in Hollywood in the early 90s, Billy Burke has never stopped working. There are countless credits that come in between the aforementioned that of course, also serve as a testament to his gift and longevity. However, it was a chance viewing of Dill Scallion (1999) that struck an indelible head turn for director Catherine Hardwicke. The impression Billy's performance left, lasted until they met in 2007 while Hardwicke and Summit Entertainment were looking for someone to play "Charlie Swan" in their film adaptations of the bestselling book series The "Twilight" Saga. After a brief meeting and read-through of a few scenes, Billy and Catherine agreed... it was "meant to be". Summit followed suit and welcomed him into the franchise. Millions of fans around the world have concurred with the choice and the overwhelming response to his theatrical work has given him solace in the fact that he never got that record deal."Mitch Morgan"

Actor Ken Olin's dark, sincere, extreme good looks were steadily put to use on the small screen during the 80s, but, in retrospect, the actor will probably now be considered more of a major force behind the camera as a producer and director when all is said and done.
Born Kenneth Edward Olin in Chicago on July 30, 1954, Ken was the son of a former Jewish Peace Corps official and pharmaceutical company owner. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with an English Literature degree, he continued his studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Heading for Hollywood in the late 70s, he went the typical route with bit parts in such TV movies as Women at West Point (1979) and the TV series "The Paper Chase," before his acting career suddenly soared in leaps and bounds.
A couple of strong, single-season regular parts on the short-lived baseball ensemble series Bay City Blues (1983), the detective series Hill Street Blues (1981) and the primetime soaper Falcon Crest (1981) led to his poignant casting as the introspective and quietly sexy Michael Steadman on another ensemble series, the classic yuppie social drama Thirtysomething (1987), which ran an acclaimed four seasons and nabbed numerous awards for its performances, direction, liberal writing and sensitive subject material. Ken co-starred with Patricia Wettig (his real-life wife since 1982), but the multi-Emmy winner Wettig did not play Ken's wife (actress Mel Harris did) and the public was often confused as to who Ken's real wife really was. He was Golden Globe-nominated for his work here.
During the show's run, Ken found acting employment away from the set of Thirtysomething (1987) on such films as the ensemble dramedy Queens Logic (1991), as well as TV movie leads in A Stoning in Fulham County (1988), Police Story: Cop Killer (1988) and It (1990), and a part in the mini-series I'll Take Manhattan (1987). Ken also earned the chance to direct occasionally on the program and this would have a significant impact as to the direction of his career in the years to come.
Following the show's cancellation, Ken pursued TV acting work as both hero (Telling Secrets (1993)) and villain (Dead by Sunset (1995)), along with various shades in between (Nothing But the Truth (1995) (co-starring wife Patricia)), he also starred in a gritty crime series as a cop taking on a crime syndicate in EZ Streets (1996) and a recurring role on the soap drama Brothers & Sisters (2006) that featured wife Patricia. In later years, he appeared frequently as Professor Oz on the TV series Zoo (2015).
It was Ken's burgeoning interest in producing and directing, however, that truly took focus into the millennium. He has since found prolifically steady duties on such popular shows as Alias (2001), Brothers & Sisters (2006), The Mob Doctor (2012), Sleepy Hollow (2013) and This Is Us (2016), the last-mentioned for which he has been Emmy-nominated in the "Best Dramatic Series" category.
The father of two children, actor/writer/co-producer Clifford Olin and actress Roxy Olin, Ken more recently returned (with most of the original cast) to his role as Michael Steadman in the TV movie "Thirtysomething Sequel" (????). This time around, however, the TV movie focused on the second generation family."Professor Robert Oz"

Based on the book of the same name, James beautifully portrayed Brad, who has been challenged with Tourette Syndrome from a young age but defied all odds to become a gifted teacher.
In 2009, he landed the title role in the ABC pilot "Solving Charlie" directed by Gregory Hoblit. James plays a young detective who, after his estranged father passes away, learns he has an 11 year old half-brother by the same name. His father's last wish is for Charlie to raise his younger brother.
James played the lead role of 'Robert/Bob Taylor' in the 2010 FOX pilot "Lone Star", directed by Marc Webb. James played a con man who has wives in two different Texas towns and leads a double life. The cast included Eloise Mumford and Adrianne Palicki as Bob's two wives, veteran actor David Keith as Bob's con-artist father, and Oscar winner Jon Voight as a powerful Texas oilman whose daughter is one of Bob's wives.
