Father is of Lakota Sioux (Native American) descent.- Pom Klementieff (born 3 May 1986) is a French actress. She was trained at the Cours Florent drama school in Paris and has appeared in such films as Loup (2009), Sleepless Night (2011) and Hacker's Game (2015). She plays the role of Mantis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Pom Klementieff was born in Quebec City, Canada, to a Korean mother and French-Russian father, who was working there as a consul with the French government. Her grandfather was painter Eugène Klementieff. Her parents chose the name "Pom" because it is similar in pronunciation to the Korean words for both "spring" and "tiger". Klementieff lived in Canada for one year before her family traveled extensively due to her father's job. They lived in Japan and the Ivory Coast, before settling in France.
Klementieff's father died of cancer when she was 5, and her mother had schizophrenia and was unable to care for children, so Klementieff was raised by her paternal uncle and aunt. Her uncle, whom she described as "like [her] second father", died on her 18th birthday, and her older brother committed suicide just seven years later, this time on her 25th birthday. Klementieff briefly attended law school after her uncle's death to appease her aunt but did not find the career path appealing. She also worked as a waitress and saleswoman in France. She started acting at age 19 at the Cours Florent drama school in Paris. A few months into her education, she won a theater competition that awarded her free classes for two years with the school's top teachers.
Klementieff's first professional acting job was the French independent film Après lui (2007), portraying the stepdaughter of the protagonist played by Catherine Deneuve. Filming for her scenes took three days. During one scene, Klementieff was supposed to push someone down a set of stairs but accidentally fell down the stairs herself, and director Gaël Morel kept that shot in the final film. Her first leading role was in Loup (2009), a French film about a tribe of reindeer herders in the Siberian mountains. During filming, Klementieff stayed in a camp, hours from the nearest village, where temperatures dropped well below zero. During filming she befriended nomads who lived there, worked with real wolves, rode reindeer, and swam with a horse in a lake.
Klementieff made her Hollywood debut in Spike Lee's Oldboy (2013), a remake of the South Korean film of the same name. She portrayed Haeng-Bok, the bodyguard of the antagonist played by Sharlto Copley. A fan of the original film, Klementieff heard about the part through Roy Lee, a producer with the remake, and took boxing lessons after learning the role involved martial arts. After showcasing her boxing skills during her audition, Lee asked her to go home and come back wearing a more feminine outfit and make-up, like her character in the film. She contributed some of her own clothes to the character's wardrobe, and trained three hours a day for two months for an on-screen fight with star Josh Brolin. Klementieff came up with the name Haeng-Bok, Korean for "happiness", herself after Lee asked her to research possible names for the character.
Klementieff moved to Los Angeles after Oldboy was filmed and began pursuing more Hollywood auditions. She continued taekwondo after the film, and has a purple belt as of the summer of 2014. Her next acting role was the film Hacker's Game (2015), in which she plays a hacker she compared to Lisbeth Salander from the novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Klementieff used her boxing skills again in the film, and due to the movie's low budget, she had to do her own make-up and choose her own wardrobe. It was her idea to dye her hair purple for the role, to which the directors first objected but later acquiesced. She joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the role of Mantis in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) and appeared in the same role in the film Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).Mother is of Korean descent.

Christina Chong is an international television and film actress who stars in the CBS series "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" as series regular 'La'an Noonien-Singh,' alongside Anson Mount and Rebecca Romijn. The series expanded on the iconic franchise, with six new crew members on the USS Enterprise, alongside its familiar trio of lead characters. The series returns for its second season in June and has already been picked up for a third season. Alongside acting, Christina is now following her musical passion with a debut EP titled "Twin Flames" releasing in August.
For Christina, the focus on equality and diversity in the Star Trek franchise leads back to her own personal journey in Hollywood. Christina is the proud daughter of a Chinese father who immigrated to the UK from Hong Kong and English mother. Her tireless work ethic stems from watching her father working low wage jobs in restaurants, often jobs only immigrants would be willing to take on, and her mother staying at home raising six children. She credits her ability to succeed in the arts to her mother, when despite living in government housing and raising her family on welfare, always managed to support Christina's dreams.
She began in the performing arts at three years old with dance and attended Italia Conti (the UK equivalent to world famous Juilliard) for high school. It was there she cultivated her musical theater and acting skills staring as 'Anita' in West Side Story in her graduation show, before moving to Germany to star in the European premier of the musical Aida, written by Elton John and Tim Rice. To further her career, she moved to New York to study at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Soon after, she returned to London to pursue her acting career full time.
Her career has seen no bounds to what she can achieve. On the television side she can be seen in hit series such as Netflix's "Black Mirror," BBC America's "Doctor Who," Fox's "24: Live Another Day," "Halo: Nightfall" with Mike Colter, British crime drama "Line of Duty," and ITV's "Grace."
On the film side, she stars in Blockbuster hits such as Universal Pictures' "Johnny English Reborn," Warner Bros.' "Tom & Jerry: The Movie," which was nominated for 'The Family Movie of 2021' award at the People's Choice Awards, "Christmas Eve" with Cheryl Hines and Patrick Stewart, award winning independent feature "W.E." with Oscar Isaac, and "Legacy" with Idris Elba.
Christina's lifelong passion to release original music has emerged in the form of her debut EP titled Twin Flames (August 2023). Comprised of four original songs: "Twin Flames," "No Blame," "Can't Show Love," and "I Get to Choose," listeners are taken on a journey of passion, pain, healing, and self-love during and after a "twin flame" relationship; from meeting to breaking-up to the understanding of what happened, and ultimately finding happiness alone. For the production, Christina worked with Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Shania Twain), NUUXS (Major Lazer, Diplo), and Matt Brettle (Cat Burns, Ardee) through record label Goldun Egg.
Christina has spent the last decade and half, rediscovering who she is in Hollywood both personally and professionally, working with life coach Michael James. She hopes to share her story of dealing with rejection, personal development, and overcoming adversity with the world. Aside from being in front of the camera, she is writing and producing, drawing from personal experiences to create content that gives hope and inspires.Half Chinese and half English descent, but through which parents, we do not know.- Writer

Jessica Yu Li Henwick is an English actress. She is best known for her roles as Nymeria Sand in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011), X-wing pilot Jessika Pava in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Colleen Wing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, making her debut in the Netflix television series Iron Fist. Her film debut was St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold (2009). She was the first actress of East Asian descent to play the lead role in a British television series, the children's show Spirit Warriors.
Henwick was born and raised in Surrey, the daughter of Pearlyn Goh Kun Shan and Mark Henwick, author of the Bite Back series of novels. Her father, who was born in Zambia, is English, and her mother is Singaporean Chinese. She trained at Redroofs Theatre School and the National Youth Theatre. In June 2009, it was announced that Henwick had been cast in the lead role of Bo for the BBC show Spirit Warriors, making her the first actress of East Asian descent to play the lead role in a British television series. For the role, Henwick trained in wushu with martial arts choreographer Jude Poyer. The show was nominated for several awards, including the Broadcast Awards 2011. In early 2013, Henwick made her professional theatre debut in the international premiere of Running on the Cracks, based on the book by Julia Donaldson. Allan Radcliffe of The Times praised her "excellent" and "understated" performance, while the Guardian wrote, "with tremendous physical presence, Henwick captures the sense of adolescent righteousness, passion and confusion of a girl trying to create order in an unfair universe." Theatre critic Joyce McMillan wrote that Henwick was "outstanding as Leo".
Later that year she was cast as Jane Jeong Trenka in the drama Obsession: Dark Desires, which aired January 2014. The adaptation details Trenka's stalking in Minnesota, 1991, which she details in her book The Language of Blood. Henwick also joined the cast of Silk as new barrister pupil Amy. The series brought in an average of 5 million viewers per episode. She reprised her role for the spin-off radio series Silk: The Clerks' Room and later that year went on to play a young Oxford University student in Inspector Lewis. In 2015 Henwick joined the cast of the HBO series Game of Thrones in Season 5 as Nymeria Sand, with Oscar-nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes and Rosabell Laurenti Sellers playing her sisters. The process included six months of training to use a traditional bullwhip. She continued performing the role until Season 7.
Henwick played the X-wing pilot Jess Pava in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The character's full name is established as Jessika "Testor" Pava in the spin-off novel The Weapon of a Jedi: A Luke Skywalker Adventure, which establishes her as an admirer of Luke Skywalker. Despite her limited screen time, the character of Pava has become a fan favorite. Since the release of the film, Pava has appeared as a supporting character in the comic book series Star Wars: Poe Dameron. In 2017, Henwick appeared in the second season of drama series Fortitude, as well as Colleen Wing in the Netflix television series Iron Fist. Although critical reception of Iron Fist was generally negative, Henwick's performance in the series was well received. She reprises the role for the series The Defenders. At the end of 2017, Henwick was listed as one of Variety's Top Breakout Stars of 2017. In 2020, she co-starred in the Fox feature film Underwater.Mother is of Chinese descent.

Ever since she was a child growing up in South Jersey, Katrina Law had more energy than she knew what to do with. Her mother (being the brilliant mother that she is) recognized this at an early age and enrolled Katrina in a variety of activities ranging from dance and gym classes to karate lessons, soccer practice, and voice coaching. You name the activity and Katrina's mother probably had her try it at least once. When she graduated high school her yearbook was filled with photos of her on the Varsity Track team, Varsity Soccer Team, Varsity Cheerleading Squad, and even the Varsity Weightlifting Team. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and won the title of Miss New Jersey Teen USA, where she went on to represent the state at finals on national television.
This eccentric collection of interests and activities, combined with her exotic physical appearance usually means that the first question people ask her is, "What are you?"
What she is, to answer their question, is a typical small-town American Girl. Her parents met during the Vietnam War; her father being a Catholic of German and Italian decent serving in the U.S. armed forces and her mother a Buddhist living in Taiwan, working as a bartender. This combination of cultures learning to live in harmony under one roof taught Katrina tolerance, patience, understanding, and humor as a child and still guides her to this day.
After graduating with a theater degree from the Richard Stockton College of NJ, Katrina's acting education continued on in the big cities of Philadelphia and New York. There she not only deepened her understanding of acting as an art form, but she also sharpened her teeth on the business of acting. In New York City she earned her SAG eligibility on the set of Lucky Numbers (2000) with Nora Ephron and John Travolta, and finally joined SAG when she booked a guest star role on NY's Third Watch (1999). Since then, she has gone on to act in many exciting projects, including a three-episode arc as the Mord'Sith Garen in Legend of the Seeker (2008) and as the series regular Mira in the hit show Spartacus (2010).- Actress

Shannon Chan-Kent is a Canadian actress and soprano singer from Vancouver, British Columbia. She has performed with the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra. She has often worked as a voice actress in animation. Her best known role was providing the singing voice of the regular character Pinkie Pie in the fantasy series "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" (2010-2019). In the same series, she provided the regular voices of the recurring antagonist Silver Spoon and the female dragon Smolder. Chan-Kent also voiced several significant characters in the spin-off series "Equestria Girls".
Chan-Kent voiced Misa Amane in the English dub of "Death Note" (2006-2007). Misa was depicted as a young model with traumatic experiences, who gained the eyes of a Shinigami (death spirit). At the cost of shortening her own life span, Misa could learn a person's real name and lifespan just by looking at their face. She used this ability to feed information to the supernatural serial killer Kira/ Light Yagami, due to her unrequited love for him and her agreement with his vigilantism. Kira viewed her only as a useful tool instead of a love interest.
Chan-Kent voiced Christina Sierra in "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" (2007-2009). Christina was a computer programmer aboard the mothership "Ptolemaios", and was previously a runaway from an unnamed space colony. Christina was repeatedly trying to befriend her introverted co-worker Feldt Grace and to spend private time with her, despite their different personalities and interests. Christina was eventually killed in action, using her dying moments to offer life advise to Feldt. Feldt mourned the loss of her closest friend.
In "Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures" (2010-2013), Chan-Kent voiced the regular character Cherry Jam. The character was depicted as a semi-retired professional singer, who had just started a new career as a music teacher. She had reportedly tired of constant music tours, and was seeking to settle down and to develop closer bonds with her new friends. Cherry enjoyed having a less hectic lifestyle than the one she previously experienced, and found joy in simple things.
Chan-Kent voiced Larmina, the Blue Lion pilot in "Voltron Force" (2011-2012). The character was the niece of Princess Allura (voiced by Ashleigh Ball) and a replacement pilot for her aunt. Larmina was an entirely new addition to the Voltron franchise's cast. This series lasted for a single season and 26 episodes, ending on a cliffhanger. A planned second season was never produced due to budget problems.
Chan-Kent voiced Beatrice "Trixie" Sting in the science fiction series "Slugterra" (2012-2016). The character was a female member of the Shane Gang, and served as a strategist for her team. Trixie viewed her teammates as her surrogate family, and tried to convince her secretive teammate Eli Shane to confide to her about his mysterious past. Trixie had aspirations to become a documentary filmmaker.
Chan-Kent voiced the antagonist Lemon Zest in the animated film "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Friendship Games" (2015). The character was a leading member of the Crystal Prep Academy Shadowbolts. She and her teammates obsessively pursued victory at an academic and sporting competition, serving as the rival team to the film's protagonists. Lemon was portrayed as a rock music enthusiast, and as rather insensitive to the needs and emotions of her teammate Twilight Sparkle. In a moment of danger towards the film's ending, Lemon helped in pulling to safety both Rarity (one of her rivals at the contest) and Fleur de Lis (one of Lemon's classmates).
Chan-Kent voiced the antagonist Wallflower Blush in the television special "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Forgotten Friendship" (2018). Wallflower was depicted as a lonely girl, who kept being forgotten by people with whom she interacted regularly. She eventually gained a magical artifact which could erase or modify the memories of others. So she decided to take revenge on the popular girl Sunset Shimmer, by using this power to isolate Sunset from her friends and to turn her into a social outcast (like Wallflower herself).
Chan-Kent performed the singing voice of returning antagonist Sonata Dusk in the animated special "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Sunset's Backstage Pass" (2019). As before, Sonata was depicted as a formerly powerful siren who has been exiled into a human world and transformed into a human. In the special, Sonata and her depowered teammates were pursuing careers as music performers. Their old enemy Sunset Shimmer accused the sirens of being responsible for a mysterious time loop. The sirens revealed that they have had no access to magic for quite some time, and were not aware of any magic plot.
Chan-Kent has been announced as the new voice actress of the anthropomorphic hedgehog Amy Rose in the upcoming series "Sonic Prime" (2022-). Amy is typically depicted as Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend. Her signature weapon is a hammer, which she typically uses as a melee weapon. By 2022, Chan-Kent was 34-years. She seems to have no plans to retire yet.- Piper Curda is an actress, known for Rule the Mix (2011), I Didn't Do It (2014) and Save the Date (2013).
