One of Hollywood's finest character actors and most accomplished scene stealers, Barry Fitzgerald was born William Joseph Shields in 1888 in Dublin, Ireland. Educated to enter the banking business, the diminutive Irishman with the irresistible brogue was bitten by the acting bug in the 1920s and joined Dublin's world-famous Abbey Players. He subsequently starred in the Abbey Theatre production of Sean O'Casey's Juno And The Paycock, a role that he recreated in his film debut for director Alfred Hitchcock in 1930. He was coaxed to the U.S. in 1935 by John Ford to appear in Ford's film adaptation of another O'Casey masterpiece, The Plough and the Stars (1936). Fitzgerald took up residence in Hollywood and went on to give outstanding performances in such films as The Long Voyage Home (1940), How Green Was My Valley (1941), None But the Lonely Heart (1944), And Then There Were None (1945), Two Years Before the Mast (1946) and what is probably the role for which he is most fondly remembered, The Quiet Man (1952). He won the Academy Award For Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of gruff, aging Father Fitzgibbon in Going My Way (1944). He was also nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for the same role and was the only actor to ever be so honored. Barry Fitzgerald died in his beloved Dublin in 1961.- Dynamic, appealing comedienne who was popular in the sixties and early seventies, thanks to her performances in TV series like Qué mundo de juguete!, El teleteatro Palmolive del aire (with Atilio Marinelli), Adorable profesor Aldao, Inconquistable Viviana Hortiguera and Me llaman Gorrión.
- Born in Germany to American parents, dark-haired Betty Amann (born Philippine Amann) grew up in the US. Arriving in the wake of Louise Brooks, she was awarded a screen test by producer Erich Pommer and went on to star or co-star in such German productions as Joe May's silent Asphalt (1929) and the talkies Der weiße Teufel (1930)-- opposite Lil Dagover and Ivan Mozzhukhin--and Die kleine Schwindlerin (1933), opposite Dolly Haas. She later did Daughters of Today (1933) in England, but was back in Hollywood by the mid-'30s, where she mainly appeared in "Poverty Row" productions. Her final appearance came in Edgar G. Extremely talented, prolific and versatile composer Brad Fiedel was born on March 10, 1951 in New York City. His mother was a dancer and his father was a composer and musician. Brad started out as a keyboardist for Hall & Oates. Fiedel first began composing music for movies in the mid-70s for such low-budget pictures as The Astrologer (1975), Deadly Hero (1975) and the raunchy Jaws (1975) porno parody Gums (1976). Although best known for his strong, lively and driving scores for action movies and thrillers, Brad has displayed considerable range and skill with his equally fine scores for dramas (Immediate Family (1989) and The Accused (1988)), comedies (Straight Talk (1992) and Fraternity Vacation (1985)) and numerous made-for-TV features. Fiedel is widely regarded as a vital and creative pioneer for his expert and innovative use of electronic instruments and synthesizers in his music. Brad achieved his greatest success with the incredibly powerful and hard-charging metallic score for The Terminator (1984) -- he was deservedly nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Music for his outstanding and unforgettable work -- and its sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). He collaborated with "Terminator" director James Cameron a third time on the blockbuster smash True Lies (1994). In addition, Fiedel supplied the chillingly effective scores for the horror pictures Just Before Dawn (1981), Eyes of Fire (1983), Fright Night (1985), the Made-for-TV The Midnight Hour (1985) and The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988). He's also written and/or performed songs that are featured on several film soundtracks. Alas, Brad Fiedel retired from composing scores for both theatrical features and made-for-TV movies, alike, in the late 90s. He's married to actress Ann Dusenberry.- Actress

As a child, Bree spent her time traveling the country with her family and her pro-football player father. During her teens, Turner's parents settled in Northern California where Bree first discovered a love for dance. In high school, she honed her talents in everything from ballet to jazz. When she moved to Los Angeles to study dance at UCLA, she was discovered by a dance agent and immediately landed roles as a dancer in countless high profile films such as My Best Friend's Wedding (1997), She's All That (1999) and The Big Lebowski (1998), among others. She danced her way into high profile nationally televised award shows and commercials, as well as major music videos with everyone from Brian Setzer to Sugar Ray. She appeared in spots for Hyundai, Gap, Dr. Pepper and the 2003 Budweiser spot "Top 10 of All-Time", which aired during the Super Bowl. Before she knew it, her passion had turned into a full fledged dancing career.
This career exposed her to countless hours on television and movie sets, where she truly felt right at home. She caught the acting bug and decided to turn her focus to this newfound passion. Turner credits her dancing for the focus she put forth towards acting. She immersed herself in the new art, studying theater at King's College in London and enrolling in a series of acting classes with some of the best teachers in the business.
She immediately made her mark in Hollywood as Rob Schneider's love interest, "Allison the Fish Girl", in the ever popular movie Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), and as the snobby bouffant haired Tri-Pi "Tiffany" in Sorority Boys (2002). She opened the mega-hit The Wedding Planner (2001) as a nervous bride, alongside Jennifer Lopez and captivated audiences as head cheerleader "Tina Hammersmith" in the hit film Bring It on: Again (2004). In addition, she starred in the critically acclaimed Carsey/Werner Oxygen Network comedy Good Girls Don't... (2004) as "Marjorie".
Bree has also made her mark within the independent film world including the Sundance award-winning piece The Quest for Length (2002), a critically acclaimed mockumentary in which Bree played the supportive girlfriend of a man who was on a comical quest to enlarge his penis. Not only do critics love her performance on the big screen, but they praise her for the work she does on stage as well.
Recently, Bree wrapped the indie comedy The Year of Getting to Know Us (2008), starring Jimmy Fallon and The TV Set (2006), starring Sigourney Weaver. She can be seen in Firehouse Dog (2007), a story that follows "Rexxx", Hollywood's most in-demand canine star. Turner plays "Liz Knowles", a Hollywood film producer who is the force behind the famous celebrity dog. Also, you can catch her in Just My Luck (2006), a comedy starring Lindsay Lohan about the luckiest girl in the world who somehow loses it. Bree plays Lohan's best friend "Dana" who helps her troubled friend try and reclaim the luck she once had through a whirlwind of events. Bree also starred opposite Ethan Embry in an episode of Showtime's Masters of Horror (2005), an anthology series directed and co-written by famed filmmaker Don Coscarelli.
When she is not working on a film or a television show, Bree spends her time honing her craft as an actress, working with charities and spending time with her family and friends.- Actor

Dolores Fuller first got the idea that she wanted to get into the picture business at the age of ten, when she was an extra in the motel sequence of It Happened One Night (1934). She acted in school plays, modeled and landed a few jobs on TV. In the early 1950s, she and her actress-friend, Mona McKinnon, went to a casting call where they met producer-director Edward D. Wood Jr., who became Fuller's boyfriend. Wood's real-life passion for wearing women's clothes was focused upon in the filmmaker's semi-autobiographical Glen or Glenda (1953), in which Wood starred as a cross-dresser and Fuller played his girlfriend. Fuller also appeared in Wood's Jail Bait (1954) and Bride of the Monster (1955) before his drinking caused a split. Fuller turned songwriter, wrote tunes for a number of movies (including Elvis Presley's Blue Hawaii (1961) and Kid Galahad (1962)), founded her own record company (Dee Dee Records) and helped to launch the careers of Johnny Rivers and Tanya Tucker. The son of a prominent gynecologist, Dr. Richard Cooper Norris, he grew up in Philadelphia. At 16 he dropped out of the Culver Military Academy to marry a socially prominent physician's daughter, and took a job as a reporter. When the marriage ended two years later, Edward spent time on the west coast where a chance meeting with famed director, William A. Wellman netted him his first film work, as a double for actor Buddy Rogers in the World War I classic, Wings (1927). Taking Wellman's advice, Norris headed back east in 1928 to gain acting experience in stage productions and traveling shows. By 1933 he was back in Hollywood where he soon won a small role in Rouben Mamoulian's Queen Christina (1933), starring Greta Garbo.
His film debut landed him a long-term contract with MGM who intended to groom him as a romantic leading man. Unfortunately Louis B. Mayer soon abandoned plans for Norris after signing another handsome youngster, Robert Taylor who quickly became a studio favorite. Unfortunately, only three times during his Metro contract was Norris given opportunities commensurate with his abilities: on loan out to Fox as a kidnapping victim in the thriller Show Them No Mercy! (1935), as a young criminal attempting to save his adolescent brother in the Oscar winning drama Boys Town (1938), and notably, as a young teacher falsely accused of murdering one of his pupils in Warners' wrenching social drama They Won't Forget (1937). The latter, Norris' favorite role, won him wide acclaim and additional offers of employment from other studios which MGM nixed.
Increasingly disgruntled, Norris became temporarily lost in a sea of self-pity and booze, and in the process acquired a reputation for being rebellious and unreliable. In 1938 he left MGM and signed with Fox who also utilized him poorly. Although his first rate performance as a reformed criminal in Fox's crime drama The Escape (1939) earned accolades, the film was a second feature which garnered little attention. Sadly his other Fox films including Frontier Marshal (1939), The Gorilla (1939), and Here I Am a Stranger (1939) gave him little to do.
By 1941 Norris had conquered his demons and become a freelance actor while serving as a pilot instructor for the U.S. Army Air Force. Stationed in southern California, he continued to make movies, appearing in 26 mostly low budget features from 1941 to 1945. In 1946 Norris film career reached its zenith with his starring role as a bloodthirsty killer in Monogram's acclaimed noir classic Decoy (1946). During the following decade he also earned good reviews for memorable performances in over a dozen other features. His last screen appearance came in 1955 in the United Artists western, The Kentuckian (1955).
After he ceased making films, Norris made several guest appearances on television before retiring from acting in the early 1960s. A wealthy man, thanks to shrewd investments, he devoted the remainder of his life to managing his real estate and pursuing his innumerable hobbies including antique car and gun collections as well as raising horses.
In 1978 Norris made headlines when a firestorm destroyed his Malibu home. In 1997 he moved to Fort Bragg, a small town two hours north of San Francisco, where he died on December 18, 2002. He was 91 years old.- Music Artist

Lesley Dunlop was born on 10 March 1956 in Newcastle, England, UK. She is an actress, known for The Elephant Man (1980), A Little Night Music (1977) and Emmerdale Farm (1972). She has been married to Christopher Chittell since 18 June 2016. She was previously married to Christopher Guard.- Character actress Lorna Thayer will probably remain in good standing in the Hollywood cult movie annals for decades to come, due to one scene and one scene, alone. In the critically-acclaimed "generation gap" film, Five Easy Pieces (1970), Jack Nicholson plays a rebellious, disgruntled musician-cum-oil rigger with "loose cannon" tendencies who takes his frustrations out on an uncooperative roadside hash-slinger, played by Lorna, who refuses to allow him food substitutes while ordering a meal. This memorable movie vignette, now referred to as the "chicken salad sandwich-scene," has tended to overshadow all of Lorna's other productive work on stage, TV and film.
Born Lorna Patricia Casey in Boston on March 10, 1919, her mother, actress Louise Gibney, brought the family to California in 1923 to escape the cold winters and settled in Venice Beach, eventually securing a permanent residence in Hollywood.
From 1952, Lorna could be glimpsed here and there in a handful of humorless working-class bits in such films as The Lusty Men (1952), Women's Prison (1955), The Beast with a Million Eyes (1955), I Want to Live! (1958) and Freckles (1960). She appeared on both the New York and Los Angeles stages and made her Broadway debut in "Comes a Day" in 1958, returning six years later with a role in "Never Live Over a Pretzel Factory".
A fairly steady TV fixture throughout the 1950s and 1960s, she experienced a slump for a time until her celebrated bit with Nicholson triggered a host of character film work, including Cisco Pike (1971), The Dion Brothers (1974), Buddy Buddy (1981) and Nothing in Common (1986), along with assorted TV mini-movies.
Although it did not improve her standing all that much, she made do and had a bit part in the Al Pacino/Michelle Pfeiffer starrer, Frankie and Johnny (1991), before retiring.
Lorna was married twice--to actor George N. Neise (divorced) and Arthur Dowling (widowed). She had two daughters, Adrienne and Nikki. Lorna was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease five years before her death in 2005 at age 85. At the time, she was living at the Motion Picture and Television Fund retirement establishment in Woodland Hills, California. - Producer
