Actors I Hope To See More Of (Or Make It Big)
The entertainment industry sits in an odd place at the present day. Many of the older, reliable character actors are either dying out or retiring. This leaves quite a vacuum for the next generation to step in and fill the roles performed by many of these actors.
Many of these actors are performers who'll have no problem stepping forward from the background and taking supporting or main roles in film or television — some have already accomplished this.
For the others on this list, it's a question of when and how the right people see their talents and put them to good use.
It may come soon with lots of hard work and then again it just may be luck...

Oscar Isaac was born Óscar Isaac Hernández Estrada in Guatemala, to a Guatemalan mother, María Eugenia, and a Cuban father, Oscar Gonzalo Hernández-Cano, a pulmonologist. Oscar was raised in Miami, Florida. Before he became an actor, he played lead guitar and sang vocals in his band the Blinking Underdogs. He graduated from the Juilliard School in 2005.
Isaac's first major film role was Joseph in the film The Nativity Story (2006). He also had a small role in All About the Benjamins (2002) and the Ché Guevara biopic Guerrilla (2011). In addition to movie appearances, he made an appearance in the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001). He also had a part in the movies The Life Before Her Eyes (2007); Body of Lies (2008), alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe; Agora (2009), alongside Rachel Weisz; and the Australian film Balibo (2009), where he played José Ramos-Horta, former president of East Timor, set amid the Indonesian invasion of East Timor in 1975; Isaac won the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Supporting Actor for the role.
In 2013, Oscar starred in the Coen Brothers' folk music-themed comedy-drama, Inside Llewyn Davis (2013), for which he received a Golden Globe Award nomination. He subsequently starred in the crime drama A Most Violent Year (2014) and the science fiction thriller Ex Machina (2014), and appeared in the Star Wars films Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017), as X-wing pilot Poe Dameron, and the ninth X-Men film, X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), as the mutant supervillain Apocalypse. He has also headlined the HBO miniseries Show Me a Hero (2015), as politician Nick Wasicsko in 2015, which earned him the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Miniseries or Television Film.
He has two sons with his wife, Danish director Elvira Lind. He is also long-time friends with Triple Frontier (2019) co-star Pedro Pascal.Another actor slowly emerging as a young talent, Oscar Isaac made a first impression in the Coen Brothers' film 'Inside Llewyn Davis,' playing the titular character, which follows a week in his life.
Yet, the character he plays could be considered unlikable.
Yes, playing unlikeable on film is precarious work. But, if an audience likes your character, despite making bad decisions, then you can get away with a lot in the portrayal.
The pre-Dylan folk singer does plenty things unlikeable, however; it's Isaac who shows an amazing aptitude toward knowing how much far he can take the performance, while staying plucky and charismatic.
Perhaps that's how he landed a role in the next Star Wars film. If you squint at an old picture of Han Solo long enough, you might see Oscar Isaac...- Actress

Marin Ireland was born in Camarillo, California, USA. She is an actress, known for Hell or High Water (2016), Glass Chin (2014) and Homeland (2011).It wouldn't surprise me if Marin Ireland is one of films' most valuable characters working in about 10 years.
Most of the characters she has played from her arc on 'Homeland' to most recently in 'Hell or High Water' are complex individuals who you cannot pin down with a simple tag.
Dramas do not need stunt casting to produce an effective story; you simply need a good actor is express a range of emotions and Ireland always delivers.- Actress

Having been named one of Variety's 10 Actors to Watch, Kaitlyn Dever has become one of Hollywood's top emerging young actresses.
Dever has showcased her versatility, appearing in movies such as Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar (2011), James Ponsoldt's The Spectacular Now (2013), Destin Daniel Cretton's Short Term 12 (2008), and Jason Reitman's Men, Women & Children (2014), and was one of the female leads in Kathryn Bigelow's Detroit (2017).
She truly shone in the dark drama Short Term 12 (2013) alongside Brie Larson, LaKeith Stanfield, John Gallagher Jr., and Rami Malek. The film premiered at SXSW 2013, where it won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative as well as the Audience Award. Kaitlyn was named Summer 2013's indie "It" girl and was highlighted as a SXSW breakout.
In addition to her film career, she recently wrapped her memorable four-season-long arc playing Loretta McCready on the FX drama Justified (2010), for which she received critical acclaim. She also played a role in the award-winning video game Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (2016), voicing Cassie Drake, daughter of the game's lead, Nathan Drake. What makes a good actor? Good diction? What about recital skills? Maybe, although in the age of quick, snappy editing, the visual evidence of being stilted are tough to decipher.
No, in the case of Kaitlyn Dever, I'll make an exception. Dever, known for her role as Loretta McCready on Justified, can ably spit out verbose dialogue inspired by characters that orginated from Elmore Leonard.
Even more impressive, she stands toe to toe with aged veterans of the cinema, in actors like Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins and especially Sam Elliot, never giving the impressive Dever (and her character) are nothing less than their equals.- Actress

Sarah Baker was born in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. Sarah is an actor, known for The Kominsky Method (2018), The Campaign (2012) and Big Little Lies (2017).Sarah Baker is a fat lady and isn't a fat lady.
Best known for a memorable appearance on an episode of Louie ("So Did the Fat Lady"), she gets what I'm sure what all day-players absolutely want: a monologue with nuclear warhead level incineration.
In the episode, Louie (Louis CK) makes the mistake of defending her character against her own admission of being fat. When men assuage her that she isn't "fat," they're in fact affirming body taboos about body images when they pretend she's isn't. It goes on from there.
It's a monologue that acts as launching pads to careers. Before people hired her mainly for that navel-gazing defining feature of her, likely without an inkling of the talent just below the surface.
I don't foresee her having that issue again, if there indeed justice in the world.- Actor

André Holland was born on 28 December 1979 in Bessemer, Alabama, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Moonlight (2016), Selma (2014) and 42 (2013).When I think of Andre Holland, playing his signature role of Dr. Algernon Edwards on 'The Knick,' I'm reminded a lot of the architype set by Sidney Poitier around the time of the Civil Rights Movement.
The character of Dr. Edwards is of similar temperament, intelligent and defiant of the xenophobic thoughts of racial inferiority at the beginning of the series opening in 1900.
Yet, he's not disobedient for disobedience sake, he fights to prove his worth to such adversity. The doctor opens a basement clinic for African Americans who are routinely turned away upstairs at the titular Knickerbocker Hospital. He attempts new procedures, influenced by his training in Paris, when the old American methods clearly don't work.
Holland's tenacity in the role shows great ease that would normally conveys as false in lesser hands. The entertainment industry needs a lot more actors like Holland who aren't simply ethnic casting for demographic appeal.
He's playing roles as well as his counterparts and that needs rewarding and/or attention.- Actor

John Robert Magaro was born in 1983 in Akron, Ohio, to Wendy and James Magaro, and was raised in the local suburb Munroe Falls. He began appearing in local theatre productions in and around Cleveland and Akron.
In film, Magaro has starred in Paramount's Overlord (2018), directed by Julius Avery. He was also seen in Reginald Hudlin's "Marshall," alongside Chadwick Boseman, in Netflix's "War Machine," starring Brad Pitt, and also in Paramount's award winning "The Big Short." "The Big Short" was awarded Best Ensemble by the National Board of Review for 2015 and received the Ensemble Performance Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival, as well as being nominated for a Critics' Choice Award for Best Acting Ensemble and a SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Additionally, Magaro earned a Hollywood Spotlight Award from the Hollywood Film Awards for his performance in 2012's Not Fade Away (2012).
No stranger to the small screen, Magaro is known for his work in "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan," Woody Allen's "Crisis in Six Scenes," and for his memorable recurring role on Netflix's "Orange is the New Black."
A stage actor as well, Magaro starred in the Public Theatre's premiere of "Illyria," playing the Public's founder Joseph Papp. He also had a flashy supporting role in Scott Rudin's revival of "The Front Page," directed by Jack O'Brien, opposite Nathan Lane, John Slattery and John Goodman. Magaro also played the male lead in the critically acclaimed production of "Tigers Be Still," written by Kimberly Rosenstock and directed by Sam Gold for the Roundabout Theatre Company.I keep seeing John Magaro in different roles and he always manages to make it distinct, no matter the size or type of the role. "Not Fade Away" was where I first noticed him, as the film's main protagonist. What's exceptional about Magaro is he's willing to set aside any sense of reserve about how his performance will register to audiences. Not enough young actors today aren't willing or capable of doing this and that makes him a hot property to casting directors.- Actress

Jimmi Simpson is an American actor. He was born in Hackettstown, New Jersey, the youngest of three brothers. After graduating from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Arts in theater, he acted for four seasons at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts.
Simpson made his film debut in the teen comedy Loser (2000).
He is best known for his television work, which includes roles in Netflix political drama series House of Cards (2013), and the HBO television series Westworld (2016).Jimmi Simpson first came to my attention in 2002 when he played the first dozen or so people that Jack Bauer murdered on 24. He played a henchman in that, but he's slowly making a possible career for himself as a character actor, playing a variety of sleazy geeks, most notably on too brief appearances on Person of Interest. In the meantime, it looks like he's dipping his toes in a projects that could lead to bigger things.- Actor

Another actor who's guested in just about everything. Most notably he played the man in therapy who finally broke through the empty vanity of Don Draper on the Mad Men series finale.
Arnold is the everyman and he often gets cast as such. Casting directors haven't figured out how to utilize Evan Arnold beyond that descriptor and it'll be interesting if a great director or showrunner finally figures it out.- Actor

Thomas Sadoski was born on 1st July 1976 in Bethany, Connecticut. In 1980, he moved with his family to College Station, Texas. He has been in numerous plays Off-Broadway, and many regional theaters, including the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Made his Broadway debut in 2004, playing Mary-Louise Parker's husband in the critically acclaimed production of "Reckless".Like so many character actors before him, Thomas Sadoski earned his living early in his career as a background player, and of course a handful of performances on the various Law & Order shows.
But, where he first gained attention was as news director Don Keefer on the Aaron Sorkin series "The Newsroom." I've mentioned a lot about what informed the decision process of my choices here, but what could yield Sadoski more work is his everyman look and the ability to deliver excellent work despite that handicap.
This might give him opportunity for roles in either leading or supporting positions.- Maria Dizzia was born on 29 December 1974 in New Jersey, USA. She is an actress, known for Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011), While We're Young (2014) and True Story (2015).New projects co-staring Dizzia gradually keep being made and she's one of those actors you can see why. There's elements of pathos and sometimes tragedy that mix into the drama and comedies she's acted.

Hayden Szeto was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is an actor, known for The Edge of Seventeen (2016), Truth or Dare (2018) and Lodge 49 (2018).Hayden has an energy and charm that goes beyond just playing a comic relief or a love interest. This much is noticeable in his revelatory first film role as Erwin Kim, the romantic interest of Nadine, in 'The Edge of Seventeen.'
The casting director for the film must have caught the raw talent during his auditions and knew how to apply it within. The worst thing that can happen to his career is if no one has that casting director's eye and uses Hayden to fill stock secondary characters in loud and inane studio movies.- Jai Courtney is an Australian actor. He started his career with small roles in films and television series before being cast as Charlie in the action film Jack Reacher (2012). He has gone on to star in A Good Day to Die Hard (2013), I, Frankenstein (2014) and The Exception (2016).
Courtney had a recurring role as Varro in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand (2010). He played Eric in the science fiction action film Divergent (2014), and in 2015, he reprises the role in the sequel, Insurgent. He portrayed Kyle Reese in Terminator Genisys (2015) and DC Comics villain Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad (2016) and The Suicide Squad (2021).When I first noticed Jai Courtney, he played a henchman to Werner Herzog's (yep, that one) villain in "Jack Reacher." Normally, this is nominal work, not worthy of notice, but Courtney's screen presence carries a nothing role.
Casting directors obviously took notice of him, he recently co-stared in "A Good Day to Die Hard" and the Divergent sequel, "Insurgent." He's an actor where people are trying to figure out how to properly use his talents.
He recently co-stared in a Australian suspense film called "Felony," a film that's gone unseen by me, yet might be that single showcase of his talents in non-blockbuster Hollywood release. Hope to see more of him. - Actor

Blake Jenner is a singer and actor from Miami, Florida. He found inspiration as a child in Jim Carrey and Michael Jackson, and aspired to be an entertainer. When he was 9, he wrote short stories and acted them out at school, thus deciding to pursue a career in acting. Throughout middle school and high school, he spent his spare time acting in advertisements and attending acting classes, but he also performed in school plays as well. He moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue his career, and took his junior-year classes during the day and his senior-year classes online at night so that he could graduate early and make his dream of acting come true.
He had many different jobs, including a waiter, A clothing-store associate, a fast-food attendant, and a parrot salesman (he did not go from door to door selling parrots but, rather, worked in a pet store). After very many auditions, Blake booked a role to guest star as Miller Collins on the ABC family sitcom Melissa & Joey (2010). It was through this sitcom that he was first introduced to television. Blake was then featured as Ryder, the star football player and lead vocalist during the fourth season of the Fox hit Glee (2009).I've seen Blake in two very good films this year and in both he's shown a versatility that creates memorable performances outside the margin of stereotypes.
As a Jake, the main character in Richard Linklater's Everybody Wants Some, he's a baseball jock whose a bit smarter than most of college teammates. And as the big brother in The Edge of Seventeen, he's the all-star sibling who suffers quietly in dignity as he struggles to hold his family together.
There's something inherently watchable about how he extracts fully-rounded characters, which may or may not be there on the page.- Actress

Kathryn McKinnon Berthold (born January 6, 1984), known professionally as Kate McKinnon, is an American actress and comedienne, who is best known as a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live and The Big Gay Sketch Show, and for playing the role of Dr. Jillian Holtzmann in the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot.
McKinnon is known for her character work and celebrity impressions of pop singer Justin Bieber, comedian television host Ellen DeGeneres, and political figures Hillary Clinton, Kellyanne Conway, Elizabeth Warren, Betsy DeVos, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Robert Mueller, and Jeff Sessions. She has been nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards; one for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and four for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, winning in 2016 and 2017.
Kathryn McKinnon Berthold was born and raised in the Long Island town of Sea Cliff, New York. She is the daughter of Laura Campbell, a parent educator, and Michael Thomas Berthold, an architect. She has a younger sister, Emily. Her father died when she was 18 years old.
As a child, McKinnon played several instruments. She started playing the piano when she was 5 years old, the cello when she was 12, and taught herself how to play the guitar when she was 15. She graduated from North Shore High School in 2002, and from Columbia University in 2006 with a theater major, where she co-founded a comedy group, Tea Party, which focused on musical improv comedy. At Columbia, she starred in three Varsity shows: V109 "Dial D for Deadline", V110 "Off-Broadway" and V111 "The Sound of Muses". She was also a member of Prangstgrüp, a student comedy group who set up and recorded elaborate college pranks.
In 2007, McKinnon joined the original cast of Logo TV's The Big Gay Sketch Show, where she was a cast member for all three seasons. Since 2008, she has performed live sketch comedy regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. She has also worked as a voice-over actress, and has voiced characters for series such as The Venture Bros., Robotomy, and Ugly Americans. In 2009, McKinnon won a Logo NewNowNext Award for Best Rising Comic. She was nominated for an ECNY Emerging Comic Award in 2010. In 2014, she appeared in the Kennedy Center Honors as part of a tribute to Lily Tomlin. In 2016, she starred in the reboot Ghostbusters, alongside Melissa McCarthy, and fellow SNL cast members Kristen Wiig and Leslie Jones. In 2017, McKinnon is attached to star in Amblin Entertainment's Lunch Witch, an adaptation of a young adult graphic novel by Deb Lucke. She has been set to play the title role of Grunhilda, an out-of-work witch who takes a job in a school cafeteria to make ends meet. McKinnon voices the character of Ms. Frizzle in the reboot of the Magic School Bus children's series.
McKinnon debuted as a featured player on Saturday Night Live on April 7, 2012. She was promoted to repertory status in season 39 in 2013. Following the departure of Vanessa Bayer, McKinnon is now the longest serving female cast member.
In 2013, McKinnon was nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress, Comedy. McKinnon won the 2014 American Comedy Award for Best Supporting Actress, TV for her work on SNL. In 2014, she was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, as well as for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics along with four of her colleagues for the song "(Do It On My) Twin Bed". She was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for the second time in 2015. She eventually won the very next year, becoming the first actor from SNL to win the award since 1993.
McKinnon began appearing as Hillary Clinton on the series leading up to the 2016 presidential election. The real Clinton appeared alongside her in a sketch during the show's season 41 premiere. McKinnon has said that her impression of Hillary Clinton comes from a place of deep admiration, and that "[she] unequivocally want her to win" the 2016 presidential election. On November 12, 2016, which was the first show after Clinton's loss in the election, she reprised the role to open the show with a solo performance of "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen, whose death was announced two days before her performance. After the election, McKinnon began to impersonate Kellyanne Conway alongside Alec Baldwin as Trump. On February 11, she debuted her impression of Elizabeth Warren during Weekend Update and Jeff Sessions in the cold open.Despite being a cast member for the last two seasons of SNL, McKinnon is possibly the most talented cast member currently on the show.
What makes her memorable? The comedienne always displays a deft understanding of the characters she plays in the various sketches, modestly stretching well-known characteristics of public personas until they produce a laugh. It doesn't take much.
Some of her impressions are already due to land in hallows of memorable SNL sketches. Most recently she played Hillary Clinton in a sketch, on the eve of her announcement for the 2016 presidency. McKinnon's interpretation of Clinton takes her real-life counterparts perceived coldness never feels like a cheap laugh.
Darrell Hammond also made a cameo as Bill Clinton and both comedians were on the same page. It was a thing of beauty.- Actor

Miles Alexander Teller is an American actor and musician. For his performance in the film The Spectacular Now (2013), he won the Dramatic Special Jury Award for Acting at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. He has appeared in the films Rabbit Hole (2010), Footloose (2011), Project X (2012), That Awkward Moment (2014), Divergent (2014), Two Night Stand (2014), Whiplash (2014).Make no mistake, Miles Teller is a star.
The only reason he's on this list is that people are only now just coming to this realization.
He co-stared in last fall's 'Whiplash,' while somehow effortlessly playing an equal to J.K. Simmons (Also a veteran actor. See a pattern?), who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor at this year's ceremony. So, he's in good company.
Before that, he played a insecure teen in 'The Spectacular Now,' masquerading as cocky teenager. Recently, he's moved on studio-friendly fair, such as the Divergent series and the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, which are a step down for someone of his talents.
Here's hoping he takes the cash from these films and applies them to another indie-winner.- Actor

Jeffrey Donovan was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts, son to single mother Nancy Matthews. Nancy raised him and two of his brothers, while having trouble financially supporting herself and her family. They were reportedly living on welfare, had trouble paying electric bills, and often moved to a new residence. Donovan estimated that they moved 10 times during his childhood. He and his brothers were taught to live frugally.
A female teacher called Patricia Hoyt served as Donovan's mentor and helped him establish a drama club. With her help, Donovan received a private scholarship that allowed him to continue his studies. Donovan started his college years in Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He later transferred to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, from where he eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in drama. He continued his studies at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, from where he graduated with a Master of Fine Arts.
During his college years, Donovan took an interest in martial arts. He initially took lessons in Shotokan karate, where he eventually earned a black belt. He later also took lessons in aikido and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Donovan had his first film and television roles in 1995, but he mostly played minor parts. His first major role on television was main character David Creegan in the crime drama series Touching Evil (2004). The premise of the series was that Keegan is an FBI investigator who was stripped of his impulse control and sense of shame following a near-fatal injury. He was willing to do anything to stop ruthless criminals, including performing vigilante-style crimes of his own. The series only lasted a single season of 12 episodes.
Donovan gained another lead role in the action series Burn Notice (2007), where he played main character Michael Westen. The premise of the series was that Westen used to be a professional intelligence agent until he was inexplicably blacklisted, stripped of his money and contacts, and forced to remain in his hometown of Miami, Florida until further notice. The series had him working as an unlicensed private investigator, while covertly investigating who orchestrated his downfall. The series lasted for 111 episodes, and also included a spin-off film called Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe (2011). Donovan directed the film, but was not among its main cast.
Donovan had a recurring role as mobster Dodd Gerhardt in the second season of anthology series Fargo (2014). The season is set in 1979, Midwestern United States. The premise of the season is that the Gerhardt family is the most powerful crime syndicate in Fargo, North Dakota, but is facing internal competition for the leadership position and external threats. Dodd is one of the characters vying for leadership.
Donovan continues his career as lead character Charlie Haverford in the series Shut Eye (2016). The premise is that Haverford is a professional con artist, posing as a fortune teller and psychic. But he starts experiencing genuine visions, and his life is changing.Donovan is older the average actor (As of 2015, he's 47) on this list, but there's considerable talent. Where he'll go is tough to find; I've seen him in leading roles (Burn Notice, Touching Evil), supporting roles (Fargo, Changeling) and in all of them he finds gravitas and humor.- Actress

Holly Taylor is a Canadian actress and dancer, born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, on Halloween 1997. Taylor began her career in the Broadway production of "Billy Elliot" at the age of 11 as "Sharon Percy" (Ballet Girl) and continued in the role for almost 2 years. Holly is now focusing more on film and television and can be seen appearing as "Paige Jennings", daughter of Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, in the critically acclaimed FX production The Americans. Here's a uncomfortable truth that you all must hear: Most child actors aren't good.
Yet, with her performance as Paige Jennings, in FX's The Americans, proves that argument moot. Paige is effectively one-half of the conscience of the show, the other half being her father Phillip (Matthew Rhys), a Russian plant spying for the Motherland during the Cold War.
She knows her mother and father are spies and has to maintain that secret, otherwise it'll destroy their faux-American family. Part of the heavy lifting is the writing and the other part is Taylor acting that the writers keep making every season more hefty with the burden of Paige's knowledge, the brunt of which she picks up with no hesitation.- Actress

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is an actress known for her versatile work in a variety of film and television projects. Possibly most known for her role as Ramona Flowers in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), she has also starred in critically acclaimed independent films such as Smashed (2012), for which she received an Independent Spirit Award nomination, as well as genre fare like Final Destination 3 (2006) and Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof (2007).

She grew up training to be a ballerina and attended the Joffrey Ballet School training program at the age of 12. It was also around this time that she began to pursue a career in acting and soon started working steadily in television and film.
Winstead is also a recording artist and performs under the name "Got a Girl" alongside producer Dan the Automotor.Mary Elizabeth Winstead has repeatedly proved herself versatile in just about every project she's acted in. She's co-stared in a Tarantino film, an Edgar Wright film, a film by JJ Abrams collaborator, a Die Hard sequel and most recently in a film by Daniels' in Swiss Army Man. Presently, she splits time between Toronto and Los Angeles.Whenever I see, Jadyn as a regular on the perpetually underwhelming series 'Scorpion,' she always elevates the material of her character, Happy Logan. She's routinely the best developed character, finding pathos in her Happy's isolation and terse exchanges. There's typically a handful of hackneyed moments on any episode of Scorpion, but whenever she's onscreen, it's never hokey. - Actress

After she completed her graduation, Rothe started focusing on her acting career.
