- DirectorRichard MartinStarsWilliam HartnellWilliam RussellJacqueline HillThe TARDIS is drawn by a mysterious force and lands on the alien planet Vortis. There the Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Vicki find themselves caught up in a war between an evil force known as "The Animus", its ant-like Zarbi allies, and the butterfly-like Menoptra race and their allies the subterranean Optera.A lot of people call it boring and the costumes laughable. True, it's at least two episodes too long and the costumes are cheap, but when when are they not? At the very least, I can applaud this story for being incredibly ambitious.
- DirectorDavid MaloneyStarsPatrick TroughtonFrazer HinesWendy PadburyThe TARDIS arrives in a white void after making an emergency escape from the volcanic eruption on Dulkis.
- DirectorDavid MaloneyStarsJon PertweeKaty ManningBernard HorsfallThe TARDIS lands on the jungle planet Spiridon, where the Doctor has fallen into a coma. Before collapsing he has requested the Time Lords to pilot the TARDIS, so he and Jo can follow the Daleks to their base. Jo learns the Daleks' base has been located on Spiridon where they are attempting to discover the secrets of Invisibilty and create a bacterial virus in their goal of universal conquest. When the Doctor recovers, he and Jo are joined by a task-force of Thals and a native Spiridon named Wester. They not only set out to stop he Daleks' evil plot, they also discover an army of 12,000 Daleks are in suspended animation and are waiting to be revived to begin their universal conquest and claim themselves as the supreme rulers of the galaxy.Basically a more tightly paced version of "The Dead Planet" from nearly a decade prior.
- DirectorMichael E. BriantStarsTom BakerElisabeth SladenIan MarterThe Doctor, Sarah and Harry use the Time Ring to return to the Nerva Beacon, however they arrive thousands of years earlier than they anticipated and discover that an old foe of the Doctor is targeting the station's crew.Gets a lot of bile for its portrayal of the Cybermen. True, their weakness to gold and emotional outbursts do damper the story's quality, but it makes up for it with its energetic pace and tone.

Picking up a distress signal in the Tardis, the Doctor and Leela head to the planet to investigate.

- DirectorRon JonesStarsPeter DavisonSarah SuttonJanet FieldingThe TARDIS arrives in England, 1925, near to where a mysterious, gurgling man has escaped his bonds and started strangling servants. The Doctor is "expected" and taken (along with Tegan, Nyssa, and Adric) to the Cranleighs' country estate where The Doctor participates in a cricket match and Nyssa turns out to be the near spitting image of Ann, fiancée of Charles Cranleigh. They all stay for an afternoon costume ball. Tegan teaches others how to do the Charleston while Adric eats, but The Doctor finds himself searching through secret passageways in his bathrobe after the gurgling man steals his clothing and party costume to attend the ball and deal with one of the guests.

Mistaken for rebels, the Doctor and Peri learn that Sil, an evil delegate of the Galatron mining corporation, bids to rule Varos and to control supplies of Zeiton 7 ore, which is the TARDIS's only fuel source.
- DirectorRon JonesStarsColin BakerNicola BryantMichael JaystonThe court looks into the Doctor's investigation of Thoros Beta, home planet of the Mentors whom the Doctor suspects of selling advanced weaponry to primitive cultures.
- DirectorChris CloughStarsSylvester McCoyBonnie LangfordTony SelbyIn Iceworld, a trading port on the dark side of planet Svartos, the Doctor chances across Sabalom Glitz and joins him on a treasure hunt in the frozen caverns of the planet where a dragon is rumored to resides. Meanwhile Mel and a recently fired waitress named Ace run afoul of Kane, the icy director of Iceworld, whose frozen touch means death.A lot of people seem to hate this one. I didn't. I thought it was fun treasure hunt adventure. It also introduces Ace, one of my favorite companions.
