Meanwhile, Klaudia is quartered in the children's tree house and waits for another good chance to break into Lehmann's villa. When Paul discovers her there, he begins to realize that the Santa Claus costume is anything but a simple crook. To his children's delight, he invites "Nikolaus" into his home--and soon his initial skepticism gives way to other, deeper feelings. Thanks to Klaudia's help, it is possible to dissuade the nasty Klett from his plans. Then a misunderstanding threatens to end the blossoming love between Klaudia and Paul.

What a coincidence who's in the lift with her - Gerd Fürst (Michael Mendl), Prospecta's claustrophobic managing director. Without knowing with whom she got stuck, Marie manages to becalm the panic manager. The two fall deeply in love with each other immediately. But when Gerd Fürst finds out who Marie is, he thinks she just reassured him to save her loved café. Fortunately there's the canny receptionist (Ludger Pistor), who knows how to steer the lovinglys' destinies with rhythm and discretion...

But Frank has lost sight of reality: Since the friendly reception from Frank's wife has been missing, far too few guests appreciate his exquisite cuisine, and so "La Vie" is on the verge of bankruptcy. When his father-in-law and business partner Georg Krimmler tries to persuade the maître de cuisine to slow down the culinary heights so that more guests come, Frank is offended in his professional honor. To avert bankruptcy, Georg concludes a contract with the travel company "Gourmet Tours" over his head: The smart, pretty Marlene Renner is now booking "La Vie" for tour groups who want to enjoy local culinary delights on their city tours. Unfortunately, the hungry tourists don't understand that you have to spend a little more time for Frank's culinary creations. And when Marlene redecorated "La Vie" in the Berlin style on top of that, it was an affront for Frank, who regards the bar as the legacy of his late wife. The tablecloth seems cut - but when both of them are finally threatened with business failure, Frank discovers his love for Marlene.

Her faint-hearted boss, Roland Kunze, doesn't believe Franka, who then quits in anger. The expectations of the successful art director for a suitable position are quickly disappointed. After a sobering visit to the employment office, Franka takes on a job as a kitchen helper at a catering company in order to at least continue to pay off the apartment. She falls in love with her boss Jakob, who is a gifted cook but who presents his first-class appetizers without imagination. Franka develops a lot of marketing ideas, but the timing is extremely unfavorable: Jakob has to save, and so Franka loses this job too. Together with Jakobs ex-employee Deria, she founds her own catering service. While Jakob's business is bad, Franka's company is becoming an insider tip on the food scene. A major order with a gala dinner for 500 guests unexpectedly puts Franka in trouble. Without professional support, pure chaos threatens. Jakob would have free capacities - but the two lovers have meanwhile become entangled in a bitter guerrilla war.
