Melissa Marie Benoist is an American actress, singer and dancer. She was raised in Littleton, Colorado , the daughter of Julie and Jim Benoist, a physician. She is of French, German, English, and Scottish descent. She started dance classes at the age of three and when she was four years old her aunt put her in a church play she was directing. As a teen, Benoist performed anonymously at Disneyland for three summers with the Academy of Theatre Arts, a musical theatre school located in Littleton, Colorado run by Paul Dwyer and Alann Worley. She performed locally in productions including Cinderella and Bye Bye Birdie at Town Hall Arts Center, and Evita at the Country Dinner Playhouse.
In 2006, The Denver Post named Benoist one of Colorado's five "Can't Miss Kids". A natural talent with a striking presence, emerging actress Abigail Cowen is making an undeniable mark with her enchanting performances across film and television.
Cowen leads the cast of the Netflix young adult series, Fate: The Winx Saga (2021), a live-action re-imagining of the Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club (2004). She brings life to fairy warrior 'Bloom', whom the series follows as she adjusts to life in the Otherworld, learning to control her dangerous magical powers while a looming peril threatens their very existence. Sofía Daccarett Char was born on April 10, 1993 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The daughter of José F. Daccarett and Colombian-American Laura Char Carson. Through her mother, Sofia is related to the Char family of Colombian politicians. She attended St. Hugh School and graduated from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami. After graduation, Sofia went on to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she majored in communications with a minor in French. A career in entertainment took root as early as teenage years when Sofia attended the In Motion Dance Studio, where she was part of the IMPAC Youth Ensemble program. She became a singer-songwriter in 2012 after signing with Broadcast Music, Inc. Margot Elise Robbie was born on July 2, 1990 in Dalby, Queensland, Australia to Scottish parents. Her mother, Sarie Kessler, is a physiotherapist, and her father, is Doug Robbie. New York City-born Erin Moriarty launched her acting career in a way many hopefuls dream of: with an awards-recognized project. Erin first appeared on screen in the Emmy-nominated soap opera One Life to Live (1968) in 2010, playing the character Whitney Bennett in six episodes. In 2011 she built on her TV work with a guest role in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999).
The following year, Erin landed a small part in her first feature film. Acting alongside Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill, she appeared in the sci-fi comedy The Watch (2012). In 2013, she took another supporting gig in a movie. Brie Larson has built an impressive career as an acclaimed television actress, rising feature film star and emerging recording artist. A native of Sacramento, Brie started studying drama at the early age of 6, as the youngest student ever to attend the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Ana was born in Toronto, Canada on January 31st 1996. At the age of 5, Ana started to dance, and her love for performing grew stronger as she grew older. She began acting at the age of 9, and landed her first audition by playing Lucy in "1-800 Missing". From there, Ana went on to play a variety of roles in a number of film and television productions for various networks. Ana is most known for her work in a feature film called "Full Out", an inspirational sports drama, that aired on NBC, Family Channel and is now on Netflix (worldwide). Ana's work in "Full Out" earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination in 2016. Ana also starred as the fierce and trouble-causing diva, "Zoe Rivas" on the Emmy nominated drama, "Degrassi", airing on TeenNick and Netflix worldwide. Most recently, Ana decided to expand her horizons by taking on the role of a producer, as well as lead actress, in "The Cuban", starring alongside Oscar winner, Lou Gossett Jr and Oscar nominee, Shohreh Aghdashloo. She was born in Petah Tikva, Israel, to an Ashkenazi Jewish family (from Poland, Austria, Germany, and Czechoslovakia who Hebraized their name from 'Greenstein' to sound less European). She served in the IDF for two years, and won the Miss Israel title in 2004.
Gal began modeling in the late 2000s, and made her film debut in the fourth film of the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast & Furious (2009), where she appeared as Gisele Yashar; she repriced the role of Yashar in several subsequent installments of The Fast Saga. She grew up in Sydney, and graduated from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in 2011 where she was a percussionist. In 2010, in partnership with the Berlin Philharmonic, she and around 40 other musicians worked together, composed a piece together in a two week program.
