When Roger Ebert reviewed the 1991 film, Dead Again, in which Kenneth Branagh starred and also directed, Ebert posited that "if Henry V, the first film [Branagh] directed and starred in, caused people to compare him to Olivier, Dead Again will inspire comparisons to Welles and Hitchcock — and the Olivier of Hitchcock's Rebecca."
