bruh who writes this. The dialogue is still really cringy and the minute long exposition with Mary explaining Ryan's backstory was really stupid. They still just play full pop songs over scenes which, in and of itself, isn't bad, but is done in a really ham-fisted way. For reference, Black Lightning does the same thing sometimes but does it in a better way. Half of Ryan's dialogue were just long monologue's that are really out of place. - DirectorCarl SeatonStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyRyan Wilder is back to facing the daily challenges of life as herself; Alice has a new, devious plan to get the attention of both Gotham and Safiyah; Ryan comes face to face with Alice for the first time.8/10
Wow! Actually extremely solid episode. The writing was so much better than last week's, and this is probably one of the best episodes of the show so far. - DirectorHolly DaleStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandySafiyah brings Alice to her island sanctuary to make a few things clear. Meanwhile, Batwoman tracks down a hitman, Victor Zsasz, with connections to Safiyah.7.75/10
Extremely impressed with the past two episodes. - DirectorMenhaj HudaStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyAs Batwoman attempts to fight the proliferation of Snake Bite through Gotham, a random encounter forces Ryan to revisit her painful past; and she determines to ensure others like her don't go unnoticed.6.5/10
- DirectorNorma BaileyStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyBatwoman is approached by Cmr. Kane and Agent Moore to boost an infamous work of art that reveals the way to Coryana - and Kate; Alice discovers that she may not remember everything about her time on Coryona.4/10
The entire A Plot is just forced politics stuff which isn't necessarily bad in a TV show, but they just put as much as they can in this one episode. The B Plot just feels really weird. Structurally the whole episode just didn't work with me. - DirectorHolly DaleStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyAs Ryan's Kryptonite wound worsens, it hinders her capabilities as Batwoman. Efforts to copy the Desert Rose serum endanger Mary and Cmdr Kane. Meanwhile Alice's reunion with someone from Coryana presents unexpected complications.2/10
Just terrible. The only redeeming quality is Mary's acting. The B plot about Alice and Ocean has to be one of the worst B plots I think I've ever seen. There are no stakes for the characters and mate that villain has to be one of the worst in the show's history. This time last season the story was finally beginning to come together and I had high hopes for the rest of the season, but it seems like this season has just been going downhill. The promo for next week doesn't look too interesting either. - DirectorAvi YouabianStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyAs Ryan's condition worsens, she questions Batwoman's "no killing" code when she realizes the opportunity to avenge her mother is slipping away. Tatiana fills in the gaps for Alice about her time on Coryana and her history with Ocean,5/10
I mean, it's an improvement from last week. Batwoman actress is just terrible. Alice actress is good but the writers give her nothing to work with and also her storyline is just so boring. Hopefully because all the storylines are converging they'll actually end soon and we can have some good episodes. It's also getting a bit silly how everyone is in love with each other. Just piss off and get better writers yeah. - DirectorHolly DaleStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyBatwoman's abilities are tested like never before, while Alice's search for Kate continues; Sophie and Jacob set their sights on Coryana; Luke and Mary contend with an unexpected guest.8.25/10
Right this week was actually good. From the looks of it next week we're starting a new storyline with Black Mask so hopefully they don't make the same mistakes in that arc. Mary is still the best character on the show, with Alice in second. The Kate reveal was good and I actually liked the new actress Wallis Day in Krypton so hopefully she'll be a main character for the back half. Has nothing to do with the episode but I just hate the character of Angelique and hope that they get rid of her soon. - StarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyBatwoman hunts down Black Mask, who has taken Angelique prisoner.4/10

get julia and mary out of this show man they don't deserve to have these writers. - DirectorEric Dean SeatonStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyA new villain, Kilovolt, attacks the new community center, and Angelique gives up names in Forbes' assassination.7.5/10
hold up good batwoman episode. - DirectorMairzee AlmasStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyWith Batwoman and The Crows each hot on the trail of the False Face Society, their efforts collide, and tension escalates. Alice seeks out Enigma, and Sophie and Ryan find some common ground8/10
Good. - DirectorGlen WinterStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyBatwoman and Alice team up to rescue Angelique and Ocean from Black Mask's gang.
- DirectorMarshall VirtueStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyWhen Sophie must face a foe from her rookie days with The Crows, Ryan, Mary and Luke are also pulled into the villain's game, the tables are turned on Alice when she finds herself in dire circumstances; Jacob continues to revisit the past.5/10
Commits the worst sin imaginable. Plain boring. The one take at the start of the episode was cool (even if poorly executed). That's about it. Ryan is just so unlikeable. Once again Mary is the character in the episode. Quizmaster's daughter was alright. - DirectorRob DuncanStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyBatwoman is faced with a new challenge when Gotham's addicts become ravenous for more than the next fix.
- DirectorHolly DaleStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyAs Luke's life hangs in the balance, repercussions from the devastating event are the catalyst for some life-changing decisions for those around him.i am quitting the show.

- DirectorHolly DaleStarsJavicia LeslieRachel SkarstenMeagan TandyBlack Mask unleashes chaos on Gotham, and Ryan tries to stop him without the Batsuit.Best written episode in season 2. Hope this isn't a one off, I actually really liked this episode. It's starting to feel like covid isn't really an issue anymore with these shows, like with this and Legacies they're having the first crowd scenes since 2019, which is nice. Gives me confidence that the next season for all these shows will be normal. The villain teases make me excited for next season. I really hope they go into a weekly villain style for the first few episodes based on the objects that were released into Gotham. Kate going to find Bruce is a really cool way to get her off the show that I didn't think about. I hope it's not like Thea in Arrow where she just leaves and it doesn't really matter.
