Her father was English and her mother is Brazilian, of Italian and Portuguese descent. Her surname comes from her mother's Italian grandfather. Thanks to her mother, Kaya grew up fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, as well as English. At the age of fourteen, she auditioned for Skins (2007), the debut series for new channel E4 that would become known for casting real teenagers like her, who had no professional acting experience, rather than experienced adult actors. She won the role of "Effy Stonem" and joined the show in January 2007. After an challenging debut in which she never spoke, Scodelario and Effy made quite an impression on viewers. At the forefront of many disasters, including stalkers, death, and sexual pressures, Effy became a fan favorite for her ability to resolve testing life situations while keeping her head above water. As the character and the role grew, Scodelario enjoyed depicting what she described as the realistic trials and challenges Effy faced with friendships, relationships, and adolescence. After two seasons of Skins (2007), the series endured an overhaul at the end of 2007. Feeling that most of the characters had run their course, the writers wrote out every character except Effy. This put significantly more pressure on Scodelario because it meant that she would be the most recognizable face for season three. As she waited for the new season of Skins (2007) to begin, she took advantage of her recent clout to seek out additional career opportunities. She joined the elite agency Models 1 and soon was featured as the cover model for SuperSuper Magazine. She sold refreshments at a movie theater, where she could see free movies; worked as a restaurant hostess, where her meals were free; and worked as a store cashier at Disneyland, where she had free admission. She often had two jobs at one time. Her last job, which was solely for the paycheck, was a full-time job at an eyeglass factory, inspecting contact lenses.
In 1972, the 17-year-old was attending a Rolling Stones concert when she was approached by John Crosby, a scout and manager from International Creative Management. He told her she should be a model and had test photos made of her. Within a few months, Rene signed a contract with Ford Modeling Agency and within a year had become a successful print and photographers model. Soon her modeling breakthrough came when she graced the cover of Vogue. By 1975, she had appeared on numerous magazine covers, was one of the most successful models in America, and was also starting to be seen in several TV commercials through the 1980s. She would define what a top fashion model was for years to come.
By her 30th birthday, demand for her began to dwindle, as it did for most models at that age. She did a few more commercials and then turned her back on modeling and show business for a while. Financially secure for the next several years, she began an intense period of literature and Christian theology. She also began to study theater and acting, and began appearing in theater roles at small regional theaters in Los Angeles and elsewhere in California.
Her television series debut came in 1987 with a supporting part on the short-lived TV series Sable (1987). In 1989 she made her motion picture debut with the part of the lead characters girlfriend in the film Major League (1989). Her subsequent roles were that of girlfriends and supportive wives in a few films, until her breakthrough as an Internal Affairs detective in Lethal Weapon 3 (1992). Rene Russo has been praised for her ability to hold her own against her major male co-stars, who have included Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood, Kevin Costner and Pierce Brosnan. Two of her performances within the last few years have gotten her recognition as both a major dramatic actress and a talented character actress. One was as the mother of a kidnapped son in Ransom (1996). The other was as the cartoon femme fatale foreign spy in The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle (2000). Although the latter received mixed reviews among moviegoers and critics, Russo was praised for her performance of a role originally slated for Meryl Streep in 1992. Rene Russo has been married to screenwriter Dan Gilroy since 1992, and they have one daughter, named Rose. They reside in Brentwood, California.as Demeter- Actor

To this end he has written several scripts in various genres and has written and directed two short sci-fi films Indigo and Thanatos.
Kevin met 'Underworld' director Len Wiseman while working on the sci-fi hit Stargate (1994), when Len was a prop assistant and Kevin an extra. Douglas Christopher Judge was born and raised in Los Angeles, and is of African-American and Cherokee ancestry.
Judge always knew that he wanted to be an actor, wanting to invoke feelings in others that he was receiving from the shows. He realized quickly that sports would be the stepping stone to an acting career.
Attending the University of Oregon on a football scholarship, Judge led in kickoff return yardage for 1983-84 and interceptions in 1984, in addition to earning the Casanova Award in 1982 (given to the freshman or newcomer of the year). Judge was also a three-time All-American, a Pacific-10 Conference Selection in 1984, and played in the 1985 Hula Bowl.
While at Oregon, Judge was a pre-med major, then psychology, then telecommunications and film, with a minor in psychology. In his senior year, he won a regional contest to host the West Coast Fox KLSR Morning Show, an "MTV talk show-type thing"; he used this experience to get an agent and move to Los Angeles.
Judge began studying at the Howard Fine Institute in LA in 1989. Some early roles were Bird on a Wire (1990), Cadence (1990), Neon Rider (1989) and MacGyver (1985) with future Stargate SG-1 (1997) star Richard Dean Anderson. In the ensuing years, Judge had small parts in various television shows and movies, such as 21 Jump Street (1987) (with future SG-1 director Peter DeLuise), The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990), and House Party 2 (1991), and as a regular on Sirens (1993) from 1994 to 1995.
Judge's largest role came in 1997 with Stargate SG-1 (1997). While at a friend's house, he saw his friend's roommate practicing for an audition and was intrigued. While the roommate was away, Judge looked at the audition notes, then called his agent and insisted he get him an audition, or lose him as a client. At the audition, there were three sets of actors for each of the principal roles, but eight or ten for the role of "Teal'c". Judge was confident he got the part when they dismissed everyone who read for the part, except him. Out of all the actors on "Stargate SG-1", Judge has been in the most episodes.
More recent works of Judge's include guest spots on Andromeda (2000) and Stargate: Atlantis (2004), the television movie Personal Effects (2005), and the films, Snow Dogs (2002) and A Dog's Breakfast (2007), the latter written and directed by fellow "Stargate" actor, David Hewlett.
Judge has written three episodes of Stargate SG-1 (1997): The Changeling (2003), Birthright (2003) and Sacrifices (2004). After "Stargate SG-1" was canceled, Judge began writing a script for a show called "Rage of Angels".
Judge also does voice acting for animated series and video games, including the voice of "Magneto" on X-Men: Evolution (2000) and the canceled "Stargate SG-1: The Alliance". In the season eight episodes of "Stargate SG-1" (Avatar (2004) and "The Warrior"), Teal'c informs SG-1 that he plays Def Jam Vendetta (2003), alluding to the fact that Judge was a voice actor in that game. He is also known for voicing "Jericho" in Turok (2008).as Kronos (voice)- Actress
