DGA Awards 2020 — First Time Feature Director

Since 2016, the DGA Award for first-time feature film directors has uniquely recognized the achievement of first-time feature film directors, while simultaneously showcasing its talent of the future. The award's intent is to highlight "fresh viewpoints in storytelling that are imperative in this industry” and showcase directors and films that may be overlooked during the bustle of award season.
