AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D SEASON 2 RATINGS
An extremely thrilling and well made/organized season that left me completely satisfied and happy
I haven't watch such a good superhero season in a long time. The characters were outstanding, both the familiar and the new ones. Speaking about the newbies, every single one became a favourite of mine almost in a second. Bobby (A.Palicki was never better), Hunter and Mack adjusted so fast to the team and I began to root for them immediately. Our favourite agents from s.1 were back and better than ever too. Coulson grew up to be an gifted leadership figure, which suits him perfectly, and our favourite female bad-ass May finally got her background explored by the writers and it was traumatizing to say the least. Forget completely that annoying girl hacker we met in the beginning of s.1, Skye change/development both on the outside and the inside in s.2 is astonishing (and thankfully it is done in a logical way). The signature duo of the show Fitz-Simmons had a lot of challenges to come through and with some masterfull acting and writing they became arguably the heart of the season. Ward had to endure a unique character ark that could only work for him, I admit I was rooting for a redemption for him, but the writers not only surprised me, but also changed completely my mind. Regarding the acting (I feel obliged to say here that ALL the cast shined) the showstealer was (unexpectedly for me) K.MacLachlan (I remember watching him in "Dune" and thinking this guy is an atrocious actor, well I guess I was wrong again). Finally the story was amazingly planned and nothing seemed even remotely unnecessary (this says a lot an 22 episode season), when you just expecting for it to slow down and insert some filler the writers kept continuously add something new
Overall rating: 9.5/10
