Russell Means was born an Oglala/Lakota Sioux Indian. He was the first national director of the American Indian Movement (AIM) in which role he became prominent during the 1973 standoff with the U.S. government at Wounded Knee. In 1987, he joined the U.S. Libertarian Party and announced his candidacy for the party's presidential nomination. (He lost the nomination to Congressman Ron Paul). Since 1992, Means has appeared in The Last of the Mohicans (1992), Natural Born Killers (1994) and other movies. He has championed the rights of indigenous peoples in other countries as well as the U.S. In a televised speech to the 2000 Libertarian Party National Convention, Means said that he prefers the label "Indian" to the more politically-correct "Native American". With over 35 years of sound mixing under his belt, Burton was first nominated for an Oscar in 1978 for THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY". In 1983 he won the BAFTA (British Academy Film and Television Award) for WAR GAMES". He received an Oscar for Best Sound in 1989 for the film, BIRD". In 2005 he received The Cinema Audio Society Career Achievement Award. Burton has also received Academy Award nominations for WAR GAMES", ALTERED STATES", THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION", THE GREEN MILE" and DREAMGIRLS". He won an Academy Award for Outstanding Sound Mixing for his work on DREAMGIRLS in 2005.- Sound Department

Richard King was born in Tampa, Florida and attended the University of South Florida graduating with a BFA in painting and film.
Since 1985 he has worked in film sound design. Richard has been fortunate to work with such directors as Nicolas Roeg, M. Night Shyamalan, Robert Altman, Paul Thomas Anderson, William Friedkin, Peter Weir, Steven Spielberg,Christopher Nolan, Patty Jenkins and Jeymes Samuel. He is the recipient of four Academy Awards, three Bafta Awards, and four MPSE awards for Best Sound Editing as well as the MPSE Career Achievement Award.
Richard lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
