- DirectorPatty JenkinsStarsGal GadotChris PineKristen WiigDiana must contend with a work colleague, and with a businessman whose desire for extreme wealth sends the world down a path of destruction, after an ancient artifact that grants wishes goes missing.Total disaster, baffling that something this poorly made even got released. Every technical element is terrible, and the writing is next level bad. Max Lord is the only redeemable element.
- DirectorZack SnyderStarsHenry CavillBen AffleckGal GadotDetermined to ensure that Superman's ultimate sacrifice wasn't in vain, Bruce Wayne recruits a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. One of the most poorly paced and dull films I've ever seen. Every writing flaw in the Joss cut is here, but worse. Biggest waste of time in my life.
- DirectorZack SnyderStarsHenry CavillAmy AdamsMichael ShannonAn alien child is evacuated from his dying world and sent to Earth to live among humans. His peace is threatened when other survivors of his home planet invade Earth.Terrible origin story for Superman, and has one of the most laughably stupid villains I've ever seen. Third act devolves into total nonsense.
- DirectorZack SnyderStarsBen AffleckHenry CavillAmy AdamsBatman is manipulated by Lex Luthor to fear Superman. Superman´s existence is meanwhile dividing the world and he is framed for murder during an international crisis. The heroes clash and force the neutral Wonder Woman to reemerge. An absolute mess of a film, with one of the most convulted and idiotic plots I've ever seen. Superman is a psycopath, Batman is a mass murderer, and Lex Luther is a buffoon.
- DirectorDavid AyerStarsWill SmithJared LetoMargot RobbieA secret government agency recruits some of the most dangerous incarcerated super-villains to form a defensive task force. Their first mission: save the world from the apocalypse. One of the most incompetently put together films I've ever seen. The story is a garbled mess, the characters have incredibly rushed arcs, the world-building is nonsence, and to top it all off, the technical elements such as music, editing, lighting and cinematography are asinine.
- DirectorJames WanStarsJason MomoaAmber HeardWillem DafoeArthur Curry, the human-born heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, goes on a quest to prevent a war between the worlds of ocean and land. One of the dumbest movies ever made, but also one of the funniest. Every character is a a complete and utter moron, but that adds to the hilarity. SS was boring and bad, but this is highly hilarious and bad.
- DirectorJaume Collet-SerraStarsDwayne JohnsonAldis HodgePierce BrosnanNearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods--and imprisoned just as quickly--Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.Thin protagaonist, awful villain, and grating side-characters. Most of the movie is just one big action scene. Suffers from the problems most DCEU movies have.
- DirectorCathy YanStarsMargot RobbieRosie PerezMary Elizabeth WinsteadAfter splitting with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins superheroines Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya to save a young girl from an evil crime lord. This movie feels like one of those straight to dvd rip-offs of popular films; in this case, a rip-off of Deadpool. But instead of being actually funny, the movie is instead highly cringe in nearly every aspect. If you didn't hate Harley Quin before, you certainly will now.
- DirectorPatty JenkinsStarsGal GadotChris PineRobin WrightWhen a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, Diana, an Amazonian warrior in training, leaves home to fight a war, discovering her full powers and true destiny. One of the most over-rated movies ever. This film heavily contradicts its own themes by the third act. The villain is genuinly laughable, the plot is nonsense and the side characters, barring Steve Trevor, are all forgettable. WW herself is devoid of any personality, and this partly because of Gal Gadot's terrible acting and partly because of the bad writing.
- DirectorZack SnyderStarsBen AffleckGal GadotJason MomoaFueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his new-found ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.Somehow, this movie ended up being way higher than I expected. It feels like Joss tried desperately to salvage Snyder's turd of a movie, and hey, maybe you really can polish a turd. The characters are slightly better, the plot is only somewhat broken instead of completely, and the movie thankfully removes the moron that was Darkseid. CGI is still pretty bad, but the Snydercut had pretty bad CG too.
- DirectorDavid F. SandbergStarsZachary LeviMark StrongAsher AngelA newly fostered young boy in search of his mother instead finds unexpected super powers and soon gains a powerful enemy.A fun and lighthearted movie, Shazam is mosly held up by its solid cast of characters. The villain is pretty bad though, and the logistics of Shazam's powers make my brain hurt.
- DirectorJames GunnStarsMargot RobbieIdris ElbaJohn CenaSupervillains Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker, and a collection of nutty cons at Belle Reve prison join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X as they are dropped off at the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. The only DC film that finally had good character writing. At last, The Suicide Squad gives us good characters and a compelling villain, although the plot is still pretty bad. At the very least, it's a step in the right direction.
