He grew up in middle-class circumstances with two sisters. Before his hometown was 90 percent destroyed by air raids, his parents brought him to Quedlinburg. After the war, Didi Hallervorden returned to Dessau, where he completed primary school as one of the best in the district. The SED leadership still did not want to allow Hallervorden to attend a high school. His father then fought successfully for months to get his son transferred. Hallervorden graduated from high school at the age of 17. He then studied Romance languages at East Berlin's Humboldt University and showed tourists around as an interpreter. Since he did not adhere to the guidelines of the "workers' and farmers' state" in this work, he got into trouble with the authorities, which led him to flee to West Berlin in 1958.
At the Free University of Berlin, Hallervorden continued his studies in Romance studies, journalism and theater studies. He soon turned his hobby, theater, into a career by securing a training position with Marlise Ludwig at what was then the most renowned private school in Berlin. Hallervorden often played theater, dropped out of his studies and founded the political-satirical cabaret "Die Wühlmäuse" with colleagues in West Berlin. Hallervorden is still the director of the cabaret today. He wrote around two dozen programs, toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark many times and soon received offers from radio and television stations. But Hallervorden also got into trouble and was banned from appearing at all stations for five years because of censorship violations. Afterwards he achieved many successes again.
His programs and appearances on WDR, for example in "Strange Encounter", "Millionaire Game", "Springteufel", "Abramakabra", "Grand Gala" and "Lästerlexikon" made him a star. He moved to SDR, where he produced "Nonstop Nonsens" and had his greatest success on television. In 1981 he received the media award "Bambi" for "Nonstop Nonsens". Hallervorden released numerous long-playing records, over 30 singles and ten films, the most successful of which include "Alles im Bucket" (1981), "Didi, the Doppelgänger" (1984) and "Didi, the Expert" (1988). In addition, there were ten episodes of the "Didi" show and the founding of his company "Halliwood", with which he produced the "Spottschau". From his first marriage to his long-time stage partner Rotraud Schindler, Hallervorden became the father of Dieter (1963) and Nathalie (1966). He also has another daughter, who was born in 1986. His second marriage is to Elena Blume, who gave birth to their son Johannes in 1998. Dieter Hallervorden lived alternately in Berlin and Trégastel, France, on an idyllic private island.
From 1994, Hallervorden worked for ARD again and brought out his political-satirical series "Spott-Light", which became a long-lasting success and ran until the new millennium. For moderation of the session "Do you understand fun?" Hallervorden received the "telestar" in 1996. On March 4, 2000, ARD showed a "Spott-Light Special" in honor of the 40th anniversary of the cabaret "Die Wühlmäuse". Hallervorden's next TV project was called "Zebralla" (2000/01), a grotesque family series. In January 2004, Hallervorden was awarded the honorary prize of the "German Comedy Prize". In 2005 he was awarded the honorary award of the "Bavarian Cabaret Prize". In November 2005 he published his autobiography under the title "Whoever tries to smile... An autobiographical look back to the future". In 2006 Hallervorden was made an honorary citizen of the city of Dessau. In 2012, he played a child molester in the thriller "The Child." In 2013 he starred in the film drama "His Last Race". In 2014 he portrayed a man suffering from Alzheimer's in "Honey in the Head".Season 2, 5th place

She spent the first years of her childhood in her Greek homeland until she moved to Hamburg with her parents in 1958. After her parents divorced in 1961, Vicky Leandros grew up with her father, attended a high school in Hamburg and received singing, guitar and ballet lessons. Her extraordinary singing talent quickly became apparent and she was further encouraged. She made her first television appearance at the age of 13 on NDR's "Aktuelle Schaubude". Their first single was also released in 1965 and was titled "Knife, Scissors, Fork, Light". Vicky Leandros had her international breakthrough when she took part in the "Grand Prix d''Eurovision de la Chanson" in Vienna in 1967.
For Luxembourg she sang the French title "L'' Amour est bleu" and reached fourth place. The song was an incredible success, it was interpreted in a total of four languages and went quadruple platinum. For her performance, Vicky Leandros was awarded the "Golden Europe" in 1968. She owes her international popularity not least to the fact that she performed her songs in several languages right from the start. At the age of 16 she sang in French, Italian, English, Greek, German and even Japanese, later adding Spanish and Dutch. Vicky Leandros made her greatest success and the step to global stardom in 1972. She took part again for Luxembourg in the "Grand Prix d''Eurovision de la Chanson" and won the competition with her title "Après toi".
"Après toi" was recorded in seven languages and sold over 4.5 million copies - making it the best-selling song worldwide in 1972. From then on, Vicky Leandros sang in the largest stadiums in Europe, such as the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Paris Olympics, and she got her own TV show on the British television station BBC. She also had her own television shows in Germany, such as "Portrait Vicky Leandros" (1973) and "Mein Lied für Dich" (1974). After further successful single releases, she went to the USA in 1976, but was unable to build on her European successes there. In 1980 she married the Greek Ivan Zissiadis, with whom she had their son Leandraki. The divorce took place in 1983 and was accompanied by dramatic events and great media interest.
Ivan Zissiadis kidnapped their son to Greece. After lengthy court negotiations, Vicky Leandros was awarded custody and her son was returned to her care. In the years that followed, Vicky Leandros continued to have worldwide success. She recorded many albums in different languages, which were awarded multiple gold and platinum awards. She recorded 31 albums for the Japanese market alone, 63 for Greece, 46 for the Benelux countries and many more. In 1986 she married Baron Enno Freiherr von Ruffin, with whom she had their daughters Milana and Sandra. In the following years she largely withdrew from the public eye in order to be able to devote herself to family life. After a nine-year break from the stage, Vicky Leandros went on tour again for the first time in 1995 and produced three successful albums with producer Jack White.
Since Vicky Leandros didn't want to be dismissed as just a pop singer, she separated from White in 1999 and recorded the album "Now!" on. In September 2001 she was awarded the "Golden Tuning Fork". Even though she was able to celebrate great success in Germany, she was always particularly celebrated in her Greek homeland. She received a great honor in 2003 when, accompanied by a 300-strong choir and a 70-person orchestra, she was allowed to perform in the venerable Herodes Atticus, at the foot of the Acropolis. She was subsequently awarded the "Order of St. Marco First Class," making her an official ambassador of the Orthodox Church. Vicky Leandros is the first woman to be awarded this medal. In spring 2005, Vicky Leandros announced her separation from her husband Enno Freiherr von Ruffin.
In March 2006, Vicky Leandros took part in the preliminary round of the "Eurovision Song Contest" in order to be able to represent Germany in the international competition this time. But she couldn't prevail against Olli Dittrich's country band "Texas Lightening". Vicky Leandro's track record to date includes over 450 single and over 460 long play releases. She sold over 40 million records worldwide. Parallel to her singing career, Vicky Leandros entered Greek politics in 2006, where she won a mandate for the social democratic PASOK and has since served as deputy mayor of the city of Piraeus.Season 3, 6th place

costume: Alpaca - Jochen grew up in a small town near Giessen. Already as a young boy, he starts realizing his talents, performing his own skits, plays and musical pieces at family parties or taping his own "radio shows." Jochen has his first encounter with professional TV at the age of 15 while participating in a school internship at children's news show "LOGO", airing on German TV channel ZDF in Mainz. Through experience gained by performing in choir and as an extra at the Giessen City Theater, he discovers his love for the performing arts. During his high school exchange year in Visalia, California, Jochen is able to build on this passion by competing in the school's choir at a national level and performing in school plays and musicals. Jochen is fascinated by the high production standards and his enthusiasm grows.
Back in Giessen, he begins acting at an American theater, takes speech training at Hessen Public Radio in Frankfurt and singing classes with a former Broadway diva. He is an active member in his school's radio station and presents a teen show on Giessen Public Television. After several successful auditions in Germany, New York and England, he decides to attend Paul McCartney's "Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts" (LIPA). Jochen gets to know Northern England and escapes to London and Wales on the weekends, depending on whether he is in the mood for big city life or the countryside. He discovers a love for opposites - the English traditions versus the trashy pop culture and British black humor. Alongside his acting classes, Jochen takes additional courses in song and dance. In his first semester break in 2000, he presents the Love Parade for German channel RTL2 and takes on smaller parts in TV and commercials.
His agent sends him to Berlin for his first casting in March, 2001, where production company teamworx is looking for the lead role for teen series "Sternenfaenger" (Star Catchers). Jochen lands the part and gets the chance to introduce himself to the wider public and the entertainment industry. During filming at Lake Constance in Southern Germany, he is able to combine his classical theater background with the technique of camera acting.
Since then, Jochen is seen in front of the camera time and again for various productions, takes part in readings, makes music, works as a voice actor and presenter, such as a for the Filmfestival Max Ophuels Preis in Saarbruecken, which he has been presenting for several years running now and continues to work on his craft with various coaches. His distinctive talent as a comedian has enabled him to shine in untypical parts, as well. Naturally having an athletic physique, he had to put on 12 kilos within 5 weeks for his part in 2004's "Popp Dich schlank!" (The Sex Diet). The romantic and fast-paced comedy went down a storm with the audience and made the audience numbers soar for German TV channel Pro7. In 2006, Jochen stars in the Grimme-Award nominated ARD series "Zwei Engel fuer Amor" (Amor's Angels), by the creators of Emmy Award-winning series "Berlin, Berlin". Jochen kicks off 2007 on the big screen in American director Barbara Stepansky's "Aussergewoehnlich" (Exceptional), which featured as the opening film of the 28th Filmfestival Max Ophuels Award.
In November 2007 Jochen takes part in the cooking show "Das perfekte Promi Dinner" (Come Dine With Me - Celebrity special) and finishes up a successful year by scoring the ongoing role as new pathologist Dr. Stabroth on the popular crime show "Polizeiruf 110". His refreshing acting style also wins over fans of romantic love stories. In 2008 and 2009 he played leading men in various Sunday night movies for the German channel ZDF, including adaptations of novels by renowned British author Rosamunde Pilcher. In addition to acting Jochen is getting more and more into presenting and hosting galas for various business clients and also the Shorts Award of the International Film Festival in Berlin. Increasingly he is invited to audition for TV shows and present pilot productions. Jochen is also a favored guest on talk- and gameshows. His second "Promi Dinner", a sleepover-special, attracts wide attention in the industry due to its humorous and authentic cast.
In summer 2010 Jochen will host "The X Factor", the German version of the popular UK singing competition to be aired on German network VOX.
Jochen will also continue to film for "Polizeiruf 110" and is looking forward to other exciting acting and presenting projects!Season 3, 9th place

In 1979 Thomas Anders won a music competition of the radio station "Radio Luxembourg", (a highly noted and respected competition in those days) and was offered a recording contract with CBS. In 1980, at the age of 17, he released his first single "Judy". Several singles followed which were produced by Daniel David. In 1981 Thomas had his debut on TV in the Michael Schanze Show "Hätten sie heut' Zeit für uns", where he performed the song "Du weinst um ihn". In 1983 producer Dieter Bohlen recorded a German cover version of the song "Pick up phone" (F.R. David). At that time Thomas was an artist at HANSA, (today BMG Berlin), Dieter asked him to come to the recording studio in Hamburg to record the song together. Dieter Bohlen was enthusiastic about his voice. As a result he produced several German songs with Thomas, for example "Wovon träumst Du denn?", which peaked at 16 on the German Pop-Charts, "Endstation Sehnsucht" and "Heißkalter Engel" (German version of "Send Me An Angel" by Real Life).
