There's a reason why this film was the bar that every action movie from the time had to compare itself to. Not what I expected at all (which was more of a raunchy comedy?). Extremely heartfelt and with a message I can get behind. This was not the movie I expected. When it began with the on-the-nose Austin Powers rip-off and had a musical in the first 20 minutes I was tempted to switch it off...but the chemistry between the two leads was so amazing and I'm glad I stuck through with it.
