1. Half-Life (1998 Video Game)

M | Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller

Dr. Gordon Freeman must fight his way out of a secret research facility after a teleportation experiment goes disastrously wrong.

Directors: Gabe Newell, Randy Pitchford | Stars: Kathy Levin, Harry S. Robins, Mike Shapiro, Bill van Buren

Votes: 11,281

Biggest Flaw: The Xen episodes could be better. I'm not that fan of Black Mesa. But it's obvious that they managed to make so much better Xen episodes. But most of the puzzles were pointless and some of them were almost the same. They wanted to add puzzles for only expand playtime. The action, art and sound in Xen were great in arrival episodes. Gonarch chase episode was also great, only a bit long. Even though that puzzles were pointless and there were so much puzzles, I really enjoyed something new in Black Mesa. And actually the only new thing is Xen for me. Because I actually still prefer playing Half-Life instead of Black Mesa. Overall gameplay feels so better. Not feels nostalgic, feels just better. I actually finished Half-Life's singleplayer mode for the first time in 2013. That revolutionary game design just got me after 15 years of the release of the game. And I amazed by it's world, graphics, audio design, details, storyline and mostly the gameplay. Nearly every aspect of the game is revolutionary.

Other Flaw: • The soldiers has too many health and the monsters has too low. Not all the monsters, I mean the zombies, headcrabs and vortigaunts. • The textures could have little bit higher resolution. I mean not high as you may think, I think 1,25X higher resolution could make it a bit better and I'm aware the reason of low resolution textures is small file size and better performance in game. • Killing yourself with Gauss in multiplayer is so frustrating and has a bit nonsense damage, sometimes I wonder if it's a bug.

Bonus: Cockroaches has better AI than an NPC from Cyberpunk 2077, that causes a really bad thing. Now the developers of the 'Next-gen' games are so shameful. And also why do they have to wear that ridiculous ties?

2. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004 Video Game)

M | Action, Crime

Carl "CJ" Johnson, a member of the Grove Street street gang, comes home after a family tragedy to find it overtaken by crime and corruption, which he must take back before things become worse.

Stars: Young Maylay, Faizon Love, Yolanda 'Yo-Yo' Whittaker, Clifton Powell

Biggest Flaw: The Renderware is an old engine unfortunately causes not that good graphical quality. They could have chosen more advanced engine for better animations, lighting, textures, models and effects. The game is so revolutionary in gameplay elements but it's not that revolutionary in technical aspects.

Other Flaws: • Nearly every gameplay element has missions like there is drive school that you must complete to continue the game. But some elements has no missions like running races, bicycle races and so on, It'll be better if there was missions for those gameplay elements. • Also audio quality could be a little better, I think the audio files are a bit much compressed. • Cinematics has overall bad visual quality, I know it's sort of the gameplay, not video files but I mean the animations of the cutscenes could be better, I'm not talking about the lighting or effects. • I mean they designed that way but Zero's missions are a bit cringe, slow and boring.

Bonus: Why did you remove the car "Stinger" from GTA: Vice City? It was great! I know you can consider that car as a Miami type of car but I don't care, they shouldn't have. And also you only had to do an easier mission Rockstar!

3. Half-Life 2 (2004 Video Game)

M | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

Dr. Freeman is taken out of stasis by his "employer" to help rid the planet of invading aliens forces known as the Combine that entered through the portals he helped create.

Director: David Speyrer | Stars: Robert Guillaume, Robert Culp, Louis Gossett Jr., Michelle Forbes

Votes: 17,575

Biggest Flaw: The missions variety is a bit limited especially compared to the first game. I mean in some missions the game repeats itself. And some parts are too long that you're doing the similiar things for only a bit longer than you should.

Other Flaws: • Some weapons feels not that great. Weapons are pretty limited compared to the first game. • Making the level designs in outer world is a good choice but comes with a problem. Bigger map sizes causes less detailed looking since it's hard to make big & realistic world. The Scout Car missions are too long and in those missions the forest area is really empty and not that good looking. I know you can consider those forest are empty because of Humanity used Nuclear Weapons all over the world but that's not only the reason why it looks like an empty area. The grass, the lines, the zone are really bad looking. Choice of outer and big map level designs causes that. I would like to drive that car for shorter time in smaller episodes. That way we would able to see the outer world but with more detailed looking. Also Grigori episode is in outer world but it's visually more detailed because you're playing in it, walking around slowly. So it's smaller but more detailed. I can confirm that driving episodes should be bigger but I think it's a bit much bigger than it should be and as I said, it's not only bigger it's actually also so long. Not only the overall visual looking is the problem. I think it's a bit unnecessary to drive for that long in an FPS game. • A bit much puzzles for an FPS game. I think it's a showing off the physics engine. I know it could seem normal, but usually in Valve games, all those features are almost hidden actually. Valve usually doesn't show off their features. The greatness lies on details on Valve games. So that's normal for another games but not for Valve games. I mean that's absolutely not a real flaw but I wish there wasn't that much demonstration of the Source engine. Because anyone can see that's a revolutionary engine even from the start. • The deathmatch version of this game isn't that fun to play. The gameplay style doesn't suit for a multiplayer game and it's too different compared to the original Half-Life. It's maybe a chose but I think for multiplayer there could be a different gameplay style. Somehow faster and more dynamic. But I don't know, it seems not that possible actually. Seperating singleplayer gameplay style and multiplayer gameplay style isn't actually a good idea. But as you may know Half-Life 2: Deathmatch is dying, the first game is still being played on Public servers. By the way, I did compare this game to it's original because you know you can't compare the first game to this and say Half-Life looks terrible compared to the second game. Because that's absolutely a normal thing. Everytime a new game comes from a franchise it should be better than before right? Half-Life 2 is revolutionary with it's physics, graphics, models, amazingly expanded storyline and so on. It's actually not that easy to find a flaw in this game, so comparing to the first game lead me to find these flaws. Half-Life 2 isn't bad at anything at all and in technical aspects it's maybe even more revolutionary. Only, Half-Life was more revolutionary in game design in my opinion. And had slightly better and more varied level designs. Half-Life's greatest feature to give you is the visionary gameplay. But I think Half-Life 2's most revolutionary feature isn't the gameplay, it is the storyline that expands dramatically. That's why I chose the original game over Half-Life 2 since the gameplay is the most important aspect of the games.

Bonus: Why that flame effect has low framerate?!

4. Red Dead Redemption II (2018 Video Game)

M | Action, Adventure, Crime

Amidst the decline of the Wild West at the turn of the 20th century, outlaw Arthur Morgan and his gang struggle to cope with the loss of their way of life.

Stars: Benjamin Byron Davis, Roger Clark, Rob Wiethoff, Cali Elizabeth Moore

Votes: 54,580

Biggest Flaw: The controls feels too unresponsive and sometimes too slow. On PC side, keybindings are also terrible. The unresponsiveness of controls is the biggest flaw in Red Dead Redemption II.

Other Flaws: • The game has too many features, sometimes game is failing to introduce those features. Sometimes it fails to introduce a main feature that you must know. • UI is also a bit unresponsive and feels bad when I use. The visual of UI is great but not the controls in UI are. • Sometimes as Arthur, doing the basic stuff (mostly at start) feels you're playing a weaker character compared to the others on the crew. • That timelapse scene in sleeping looks a bit cheap sometimes. I don't know how that timelapse sky looks worse than the sky in actual gameplay. I know the timelapse is also part of gameplay, not a video file but still it could be better. Not an important flaw but it's hard to find one in this game.

Bonus: In Ultra settings, the lighting quality is better than real life. So that makes me questioning my reality... Are we in The Matrix?

5. Half-Life: Counter-Strike (2000 Video Game)

M | Action, Crime

A tactical FPS game, in which players assume the roles of members of combating teams of the governmental counter-terrorist forces, or various terrorist militants opposing them.

Director: Minh Le | Star: Jess Cliffe

Votes: 3,769

Biggest Flaw: The weapons that almost unplayable. The most of the pistols, SMGs are almost unplayable. The recoil is too much in some weapons. Some modern games has Counter-Strike game style but most of them are too easy. Valorant is a great example, oversimplified recoil feels a bit wrong actually. So I don't think Counter-Strike's weapon system is bad, I think some weapons should be a little easier to use. You'll pick USP, Glock18 or Desert Eagle if you're looking for a pistol, maybe you can also pick P228 but the others are bad in my opinion. And if you want an SMG you'll probably go with MP5 and only sometimes with P90. Automatic Rifles, Shotguns and Sniper Rifles are mostly fine but the damage of G3SG1 is a bit much. Also the thing called "Shield" isn't even near to be fine. It is not overpowered, just boring to play and also boring to play against.

Other Flaws: • The flashbang is so annoying, that even makes you blind in real life with that full white screen that lasts 5 seconds. • Some of the unofficial maps are better than the official ones, so they could've add those maps in the E-Sports and to the next games. • The official downloading system is too slow but that's normal actually. • If there would be a official matching system, It could be great but I don't think any company could do that in that time. So I don't know if we can count this one as a flaw. • Some modes had the potential to make a official game mode. I don't think Valve thought about them. • Some of the character models look so bad and their animations are also bad. For example the hostages. • In the official bot package, the AI could be a little bit better & more balanced.

Bonus: Why that smoke effect were killing my old legendary potato PC?

6. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002 Video Game)

M | Action, Crime, Drama

After being released from jail, Tommy Vercetti leaves Liberty City for Vice City, a city overrun by the mob. Now, Tommy is out to make Vice City his home.

Stars: Ray Liotta, William Fichtner, Tom Sizemore, Dennis Hopper

Votes: 29,535

Biggest Flaw: The map size in this game is so small. The interaction with the world is also pretty limited. I mean the most important aspects of the game is improved over the GTA III but the map size. The interaction is not that important and necessary actually. But the map size should have bigger.

Other Flaws: • The world interaction and features could have improved more over GTA III. • Overall graphics could have improved more over GTA III, at least so much better skybox & lighting choices are actually enough. • The AI in the game sometimes feels only a bit strange. That blonde policeman does some amazing stunts all the time. • The sprinting distance is too short.

Bonus: The fall damage is far too realistic! You should have lowered the realisticness level for better gaming experience.

7. Minecraft (2009 Video Game)

E10+ | Action, Adventure, Family

Welcome to the world of Minecraft where you can build, brew potions, enchant your armor and tools and adventure other biomes. Visit the Nether, or even defeat the Ender Dragon in the End.

Director: Agnes Larsson | Stars: Pierre Coffin, Katie Crown, CW21, Luke Harrison

Votes: 14,109

Biggest Flaw: The optimization is terrible in this game. It runs slow even in a high-end PC. The game is melting high end CPUs for real. And the big part is actually they're not solving this problem, when a new version of this game comes, you're seeing the optimization actually not improving, it's even worse most of the times. Some braindeads could say "They're adding new features, of course you get worse FPS." but that's not the case at all normally. League of Legends is also improved over the years. The animations, the Visual quality, the map and the models are so better now compared to the old ones. But they also added DirectX® 11 support. That makes the optimization so much better, and since then the game is running so much better. So Minecraft should have a better optimization. And I know with Java coding it's hard but I don't think it's impossible.

Other Flaws: • Inventory should be a little bit bigger. • Axe is actually good as sword. • Getting Trident and Elytra is a bit hard In my opinion. • Finding Dungeons is hard, not because of the danger of being in Caves, because the creation number is low. • Different type of randomized areas should be added. Randomized enemy areas are not that varied. • Saving the village has not that good reward. Also the villagers are too greedy and annoying.

Bonus: You should have added a Creeper walking sound effect, so we can hear him before we blow up!

8. Grand Theft Auto V (2013 Video Game)

M | Action, Adventure, Comedy

Three very different criminals team up for a series of heists and walk into some of the most thrilling experiences in the corrupt city of Los Santos.

Stars: Shawn Fonteno, Ned Luke, Steven Ogg, Gerald 'Slink' Johnson

Votes: 71,833

Biggest Flaw: The storyline is not interesting for me at all. It's not that exciting and serious. I know not every story should be serious but this one has too unrealistic parts.

Other Flaws: • Earning money, spending money doesn't feel that good in single player mode. • Driving motorcycles doesn't feel good, the handling is too simplified in my opinion. • Game updates ruins the game experience. NPCs are less clever, graphics are the same but the framerates are too low compared to the earlier versions. Game file sizes are way too big.

Bonus: Lamar is too annoying, you should have add an ending option to kill him.

9. League of Legends (2009 Video Game)

T | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

Assume the role of an unseen summoner and battle against a team of other players or computer-controlled champions in the immensely popular multiplayer online battle arena League of Legends.

Directors: Tom Cadwell, Jessica Kent | Stars: Daniel Amerman, Laura Bailey, Krizia Bajos, Bob Beal

Votes: 3,188

Biggest Flaw: The support team and the balance team is the biggest flaw in this game. The support system is not listening you, unless they lost so many players. The balance team is also really bad since Season 8 and they're even making fun with the whole players. The new released champions has no creative lore and skill set. Some of them actually way too different gameplay style that annoys people, because c'mon can you name a champion from Season 5 that you didn't understand what's he doing for 5 years? Not only the new released champions are bad also some of the Reworks such as Aatrox, Volibear is just terrible because they're actually new champions not reworks. The balance team doesn't care your game experience, they only care about the winrates of the champion. So pre-reworked Aurelion Sol was never annoying to me, but the winrates was high because the gameplay was so unique and only the OTPs were playing it. They nerfed that champion so many times but they didn't nerf some champion with so many pick rate with quite good winrate. The balance team also ruined the game balance for 2 patches with that Statikk Shiv and other on-hit items.

Other Flaws: • The report, punishment and rewarding system is not that good. Honor system is just trash, doesn't make sense at all. • Some of the skins are overpriced, that's actually a new problem. Riot spent a lot of money in the last season because they were loosing players and now they're trying to get the money back. Trying to get back the money with Events is quite okay, no one is actually complaining about that. But with that hype releasing a overpriced skin is a big fault. • Matchmaking system is also so annoying sometimes. You're playing with autofillers and with losestreakers. That's not only an unlucky moment in my opinion. That's shortly the Loser Queue. • The treatment for botted accounts are way too nonsense. The anti-cheat system can't caught the XP bots but after you pay for a botted account and get the rank what you want, Riot could ban you, because c'mon you're using a botted account. That's the way how Riot fixing things, making it even worse. • Some of the short time game modes are just vanishing. Okey I'm not saying they should bring every one of them but I don't know some of the very liked modes are also vanishing. Also when a game mode comes up, you could have make a custom game to play it the way you want. I mean I was playing URF mode 1v1 with my friends and it was really fun. • In the E-Sports the champion pool is quite improved over the years. More champions are played, that's correct. But some of the champions almost didn't even appeared on Worlds. So buffing some champions before Worlds is quite a good idea and not only Lee Sin please. Not because I hate him, I actually like him and I admit it's exciting to watch Lee Sin in Worlds, but please isn't there any other champion? • Some of the simple bugs are not fixed in years. There was a really big bug about Ultimate of Darius. They didn't fixed that bug since it happened in a very important E-Sports match. That makes me crazy, I send tickects about that important bug but they said "We know this bug, we're going to fix this" what a lie it was, because they didn't fix for 5 years. I don't think they should care about every player opinion but they should care if the whole community is complaining about something. And I don't know why would anyone play with a buggy character. • Riot had asked "What should we rework next?" several times actually. But in the last two selected champions, Riot delayed those reworks for 2 years. Can you imagine that? You're being asked about the future of some champions, you're voting and the result comes after more than 2 years. • Some several bugs are always in the game. And some of them has big impact on the game. I'm not sure but Riot isn't fixing these bugs and telling us doing those bugs are forbidden. I mean there could be restriction for E-Sports for them just like some skins are forbidden in E-Sports matches. But if you're saying it's a bug causing the players experience negatively, then fix it or please don't say it's forbidden. You're not fixing some simple bugs until it happens on E-Sports matches. That's a really big shame. • After Riot Games released a couple games, League of Legends lost it's attention a bit because of the labor share. The labor share caused worse updates over the years. Balance updates, reworks and new features were added rarer. • I know I talked about balance in game but I want to expand the subject. Riot is nerfing high winrate champions most of the times. If the champions loses too much then the champion needs a buff, I think they thoughts on balancing are that simple. Okay that's alright actually, you don't have to consider Pick Rate, Kill Ratios, Gold Earning that much. But Riot is also doing something else. Riot knows some of the champions are overpowered and still they're not nerfing them. And I think recently they're doing it for selling skins for champions. The great example is Kai'Sa. The champion has amazingly high pickrate with a really high winrate. The impact on the game is also significant. I don't recall if Riot did these kind of things in past but I don't think they did. They're giving some buffs before releasing a champion, that's a thing. Yes that helps to sell the skins but usually those champions are being not that good at the time. So I think this new issue is bigger. Not nerfing a champion for several patches and after that an unimportant nerf comes up.

Bonus: You should have never released Teemo and Shaco!

10. Mount & Blade: Warband (2010 Video Game)

T | Adventure, War

A warrior migrates to the divided land of Calradia, and must unite the factions that are at war.

Directors: Ilker Can Karagulle, Joey Bracken | Stars: Joey Bracken, Tassilo Egloffstein

Votes: 928

Biggest Flaw: Gameplay is too unique but not that varied. You're doing what you like but the missions, Role Playing elements and world interaction is so limited in this game. They should have added more character interactions, advanced diplomacy, advanced city management and so on. The gameplay elements are too limited. Nearly everyone has the same aim when playing this game. And actually to get that aim, everyone also doing almost the same thing. Randomized events are not even helping that much.

Other Flaws: • The models, map, in game visuals, I mean the overall visual quality isn't that good. • Lighting and Animations are decent, could be better. • Audio design also could be better. • Almost no voice used in this game, that makes the RPG experience so worse. • The world & character interaction is too limited.

Bonus: Storyline should have ended with dying of King Harlaus because of cholesterol. Not with some retirement nonsense ending page.
