- DirectorIzzy SparberWillard BowskyDave FleischerStarsBurton GoodmanJack MercerMae QuestelPopeye donates blood, then dashes off to a boxing match with Bluto. He loses. Olive, who heard this on the radio, rejects him as no longer strong enough for her and is preparing to join the army (where Bluto apparently is). Popeye stops her at the door and insists on showing her sequences from two earlier two-reelers to prove his strength, but she's unimpressed. Fortunately, this was all a dream; he awakens in the blood bank and dashes over to see Olive, who reaffirms her love.
- DirectorSeymour KneitelDave TendlarStarsJackson BeckJack MercerMae QuestelPopeye is taking Olive on a boat ride when she spots a pirate ship. They are soon captured, and Popeye has to rescue Olive from the (initially charming) pirate captain. He tries tricks, such as dressing in drag, but without the spinach, he has no luck. Fortunately, a passing swordfish, reading a Popeye comic book, recognizes him and feeds him the spinach on the comic's cover.
- DirectorSeymour KneitelJames TyerStarsFloyd BuckleyJackson BeckMae QuestelOlive has a map to a sunken treasure, but Bluto stowed away and is determined to beat Popeye to it. First, he sees to it that Popeye gets stuck inside a giant clam. Next, he jams a swordfish into the ship's figurehead, creating a mermaid that Popeye falls for, until the swordfish has enough and saws his way out. A quick firing of a cannon sends Popeye to the surface briefly. He comes back down just as Bluto has finally extracted the safe, and Popeye walks off with it. Bluto gets it back, and gets Popeye tangled up with an octopus as he sails off with Olive and the safe. Popeye eats his spinach and rows after them on the carcass of the sunken ship, then dispatches Bluto. Olive opens the safe, and faints at the contents: a movie star photo.
