Join the us as these talented filmmakers who are fans of the popular horror franchise tell their stories that continues the work of the John Kramer in this fan film projects.
The games begin with the first chapter, The 2016 short SAW Heritage. Directed by Christos Arfanis. This short film aims to show how Jigsaw’s message affected humanity, by presenting two types of people: James, who, despite the Jigsaw stories, is still addicted to substances (cocaine, smoking) and did not care to change his life, believing that people cannot change; and a Man talking to him, who understands Jigsaw’s message, believing that his ways were effective and that people can in fact change.
In chapter 2 we take a look at Rehabilitation: From The Book of SAW (2020) which was directed by Arnie Partridge. This story follows Ben, a young man with a history of violence, awakens to find himself in a twisted game, reminiscent of the work of the late John Kramer. Ben's survival instincts will be put to the test, as the legacy of the infamous Jigsaw killer lives on.
Chapter 3 takes us to the SAW fan film documentary “He Helped Me” (2020) which was directed by Christos Arfanis and Thomas Claxton. Four survivors of Jigsaw's deadly games are featured in a documentary-style film, where their gratitude or hatred for John Kramer's methods is explored.
In the 4th chapter of The SAW Fan Project Universe we are introduced to fan film “Game Over: The Legacy of Jigsaw” (2022) which was directed by Andres Alexander Cota and written by Brandon Sierra. Ten years ago since John Kramer's Death, numerous of accomplices attempting to become Jigsaw himself have failed their final tests. But now, in this new terrifying chapter from the Book of Saw, introduces Detectives Martinez and Matthews, investigating Jigsaw copycat traps in their city.
Chapter 5 continues the story with “Endure” (2022) directed by Thomas Claxton. After being kidnapped and forced to endure an entire night's worth of pain and suffering, Lachlan tells his story of how he narrowly escapes a new Jigsaw copycat killer.
The SAW Fan Project Universe also has its own web series called “The Jigsaw Blogs” (2020-Present) directed by Jacob Walton.
With new Jigsaw attacks rising, a history teacher named Jacob Walton documents every event the Jigsaw Killer and his accomplices are responsible for. But can Jacob look into Jigsaw’s past without suffering any consequences?
