- DirectorBurt GillettStarsMel BlancMargaret Hill-TalbotHarry StantonThe introduction of Lantz's little black-boy character, L'il Eight Ball, finds him going to bed in his small cabin and being visited by a baby ghost. He avers he is not afraid, and his isn't, so the little ghost transports him to a haunted mill where the adult ghosts hang out. They run the little hero through all the standard ghost tests and, while he is shaken, he still will not admit to being scared.

- DirectorWalter LantzAlex LovyStarsMel BlancRobert C. BruceMargaret McKayFairs, rides, attractions, and horses at the county fair are all made fun of. Like a world's fair, there are some ultra-modern exhibits. You'll see the Rubber Man, the Fat Lady, the Tattoo Man, the Sword Swallower, elephants, lions and a giraffe... but the real problem is a little old lady looking for her little boy. A "Cream Separator" is operated by a small child with a bowl. A "Crazy Quilt" lives up to its name. Announcer: "Say, this turkey has no neck!" Turkey: "Aw, nobody eats the neck, anyway!" There's a hog-calling contest ("You're a hog!").

- DirectorWalter LantzStarsMel BlancRobert C. BruceA narrator tells how military recruits are trained on land and sea. Men get a physical, undergo basic training, do duties on board ship for gunnery practice, clean the decks, and prepare for battle. Lots of gags (very similar to Abbott and Costello's "In the Navy") concerning naval training, recruits' love of the ladies and tattoos, hatred of physical exams and their inability to fire a shot that hits the target. A sailor kisses his gal with such vigor that he gets the porthole ripped right out of the ship. A Lantz attempt to do a Warner Brothers topical gag cartoon actually comes pretty close with a nifty swing soundtrack and Mel Blanc voice work.
- DirectorWalter LantzAlex LovyStarsSara BernerMel BlancDick NelsonAndrew P. Panda (Andy's pop) asks the local roofing company if they will repair his shoddy roof. He is quickly turned off by the exorbitant price and determines, "I'll fix it myself!" Naturally, Pop isn't the most skilled of workers but does his best anyway. Unfortunately, his best turns to his worst when an annoying pelican distracts him by making the roof his new home. Pop angrily tries to rid himself of the feathered pest (who just wants to mind his own business) and destroys the roof more than ever in the process. Admitting defeat, he again calls the roofing company only to be irately told, "FIX IT YOURSELF!!!" Interestingly, Andy Panda does not appear in this cartoon at all... it's a rare solo cartoon for his dad.
- DirectorWalter LantzStarsWillie BestDanny WebbHot Breath Harry is a hot trumpeter at a jazz club. He finds himself drafted into the Army, where he's assigned to be the bugler of an African-American company. But everyone hates the bugler, because he blows reveille at the ungodly hour of 5 AM sharp. Sure enough, on his first day, Harry gets pelted with everything imaginable. He lands against a wall, where his trumpet falls on him. He plays a swinging wakeup that segues into the title tune, and nobody minds waking up to this. Everyone swings through the whole day, even when three soldiers march into a lake and two soldiers, followed by a grinning alligator, march out.
- DirectorWalter LantzStarsPinto ColvigA hunter and his tracking dog have been hunting all day and decide to call it quits for the night. They settle into the hunter's cabin and each go to their respective beds (with the hunter promising more hunting bright and early the next morning much to the hound's disgust). At any rate, the dog settles into bed but is kept awake all night by all manner of distractions. First, he deals with a noisy cricket which he settles and then is disturbed by the moonlight outside reflecting off a clock's pendulum. After that, the rug catches fire and the heroic dog bravely saves the house from being burned to a crisp by dousing it with water. But now his bed is all wet so he settles in with his master... who snores to the point of annoyance. Finally, morning comes and the hunter is raring to go but the insomniac dog tells the old boy off and goes to live with the other animals!
