É incompreensível que Larry David tenha pensado que era uma boa ideia tratar o tão esperado final como um Clipe Show. Os programas de clipes são os episódios mais odiados de qualquer série. Claro, nos primeiros dias da TV, pode ter sido útil colocar os novos espectadores em dia com o que eles perderam nas temporadas anteriores. E para piorar as coisas, antes do final, a NBC exibiu um CLIP SHOW de 1 hora. Então Larry David nos deu um clipe seguido por um clipe.

Concedido, essa não foi a única razão pela qual o final foi horrível. O conceito do final foi horrível. Mesmo que tal lei existisse, esperar que civis desarmados tentassem parar um assaltante com uma arma é ridículo, mesmo para os padrões de Seinfeld. E para um programa que afirmava ser sobre nada, esse foi o enredo de comédia mais complicado de todos os tempos.

Mas se eles simplesmente tivessem todas as estrelas convidadas anteriores voltando para o julgamento e apenas FALANDO sobre o episódio antigo, sem realmente transformá-lo em um show de clipes, acho que talvez a reação ao show não teria sido tão ruim.
