After her school education, Miuccia Prada studied political science in Milan; She completed her studies with a doctorate. She then enjoyed five years of acting and pantomime training with Giorgio Strehler at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan. In 1977, at the age of 28, Prada took over the family business producing traditional leather goods in Milan. The PRADA company was founded in 1913 by her grandfather and then continued by her mother. In 1980, Prada went public with a new collection of handbags. The unlabeled, artfully crafted handbags in black nylon material became a fashion hit. Prada handbags were not only worn by catwalk models, but also by fashion editors. In 1989, Prada presented its fall/winter ready-to-wear collection to critical acclaim. It was characterized by a simple style in a minimalist design and was in complete contrast to the lavish features of other brands.
Their stylistic character showed the "bad taste", which was particularly reflected in the fabric patterns. Prada tested a mixture of translucent latex, plastic and satin, mixed with fragments of mirrors and film strips. The designs, which took some getting used to, were associated with plastic tablecloths from the 1950s. The numerous imitations confirmed the success of this idiosyncratic style. In 1980, Prada married the belt manufacturer Patrizio Bertelli; This developed into a very successful business relationship. The marriage resulted in two children. In 1992, Prada expanded her fashion offerings and founded the label Miu Miu, which bears her nickname. It is an entry-level label in the cheaper category and is based on the early clothing style of the hippies with natural materials and colors. The following year, 1993, Prada was honored with the international award "Council of Fashion Designers of America". She received the prize for her clear design lines, excellent material quality and excellent handcrafted workmanship. In 1994, Prada showed her fashion creations for the first time in a show in New York.
During this time she also opened a boutique in London. Effective business management, designs of sophistication and elegance made Prada the Italian fashion tsarina. From her grandfather's production company for traditional leather goods, she created an international luxury brand that achieved cult status. In the 1990s, Prada took on large debts to take over the financially troubled Fendi. The shares in Fendi were shared with Louis Vuitton Moët Hennesy (LVMH). Prada was unable to steer the loss-making Fendi company into profitability and sold its shareholding to LVMH. Prada was unable to recover financially from this adventure and was absorbed into the French luxury goods group LVMH. The "Fondazione Prada", a project by Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli, has been presenting two contemporary artists with exhibitions in Milan every year since 1995.
The novel "The Devil Wears Prada" was published in 2003 and the film based on it "The Devil Wears Prada" was published in 2006. In 2016, she was awarded the Woman of the Year Award by the US magazine "Glamur" for her artistic work. In 2018 she received the British Fashion Council's Outstanding Achievement Award.- Costume and Wardrobe Department

He grew up in Normandy. After finishing primary school, Dior moved with his parents to Paris, where he attended the Ecole de Sciences Politiques. After graduating from high school and training as a diplomat, Dior opened an art gallery in Paris in 1928, which quickly made a name for himself in the city's select art circles. Dior was also artistically active with numerous drawings and illustrations. From 1931 onwards, he created his first fashion creations in the form of hat sketches commissioned by the magazine "Le Figaro Illustré". In 1937, Dior expanded his field of activity to design the first women's models (costumes, coats, shoes). In 1938, Dior became a designer at "Piquet" and in 1940 he moved to "Lelong" as chief designer. After German troops invaded France in 1940, the designer fled to southern France from the occupiers until the end of the war in 1945.
With the financial help of a wealthy friend of the Boussac family, on December 16, 1946, he moved into a studio on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, where the flagship store of the Dior brand is still located today. His first collection was published on February 12, 1947. Shortly afterwards, Dior founded his own fashion house under the label "Christian Dior", which launched the perfume "Miss Dior" on the market that same year. He celebrated his greatest successes in the same year with his design of the "New Look" in America. The "New Look" term was coined by Carmel Snow, the editor-in-chief of "Harpers Bazaar" at the time. These creations consisted of feminine, figure-hugging dress tops with round shoulders and a wide, swinging skirt. Furthermore, Dior set completely new accents with color-coordinated accessories, such as a delicate hat and cane umbrella, which made him the groundbreaking couturier of his time. The "New Look" designs became popular under the name "Ligne Corolle" or "Bellflower Line".
After these successes in the USA, Dior founded "Christian Dior New York Inc." in 1949, which was also represented at ready-to-wear shows in Paris under this name. In the same year, 1949, the designer also presented his first fashion show in Hamburg. From 1947 to 1950 he employed Pierre Cardin as a tailor. In 1951 he introduced the "Dior" trademark for worldwide distribution of his production under license. Dior made the young Yves Saint Laurent his assistant in 1953. In 1955 Dior founded "Christian Dior London Ltd." into life. After the "New Look" a changed line appeared every season. The "Tulip Line" was created in 1953 to 1954, the "H Line" in 1954 to 1955, the "A Line" in the summer of 1955 and the "Arrow Line" in 1956 to 1957. In April 1957 he was the first fashion designer to appear on the cover of the US "Time Magazine". Dior was considered the most influential couturier in the world.
After a heart attack, Christian Dior died on October 24, 1957 in the Italian spa town of Montecatini at the age of just 52. Saint Laurent posthumously became Dior's successor as chief designer of the House of Dior in 1957.- Costume Designer

Born Roy Frowick Halston on April 23, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa, Halston was a product of America's heartland. He led a classic Iowa childhood playing in soap box derby races, fishing, visiting farms, and the like. Halston took an interest in sewing from his mother, and from an early age he showed a special interest in making hats. Halston would make his own for his mother and sister (his first hat appeared on the cover of Harper's Bazaar in 1960). Halston attended Indiana University in 1952 for one semester. The family moved to Chicago in late 1952 where Halston enrolled in a night course at the Chicago Art Institute and took a day job as a window dresser. Halston continued to design hats and finally obtained his break when a small story on his fashionable creations appeared in the Chicago Daily News. It was at this time that his middle name Halston, would become his professional moniker. His hat sales took off and he began designing for a celebrity and show biz clientele. In 1957, Halston opened his first major shop, the Boulevard Salon, on the second floor of 900 Michigan Avenue. In 1959 Halston left Chicago for NYC to work for the famed French milliner Lilly Daché, where he proved to be a hardworking and dedicated employee. He was named co-designer at Daché after only one year. Following that Halston accepted a position at Bergdorf Goodman, a fashionable New York department store, where he charmed his clients and made a grand name for himself. After two-years at Bergdorf he succeeded in becoming the store's first designer to have his name placed in the hats he designed. He became adept at courting and manipulating the press at Bergdorf's. In 1962 he designed the famous pill box hat worn by Jackie Kennedy at the President's Inaugural making the Halston name a household word. Later that year he was bestowed the Coty's Fashion Critics Award. In 1966 Halston designed his first ready to wear collection for Bergdorf Goodman and while there Halston continued creating magic with his hat creations. Women's Wear Daily heralded him as "New York's Top Milliner". He opened his own salon in 1968 and became the toast of New York's fashion society. His close circle of friends and clients would come to include some of the most alluring and fascinating men and women in the world, among them Liza Minnelli, Barbara Walter, Martha Graham, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Andy Warhol and Elizabeth Taylor. Halston's career sky-rocketed during the 1970's and his designs set the standard for American designers. He was the undisputed high priest of fashion. The Halston name became synonymous with classically cut, simple, spare and elegant designs, a phenomenally successful fragrance line Halston by Halston for women X12 and Z14 for men, and the fabric known as "Ultra suede". His designs became ubiquitous as we went on to design and license his name on thirty-one different licensing products including a range of home linen, uniforms for Braniff International Airlines and a line of luggage for Hartmann. Throughout most of the seventies he epitomized the glamour, as well as the decadence of the era, becoming a central figure in the nightlife scene of New York's Studio 54 disco.- Costume and Wardrobe Department

Victoria Beckham was born Victoria Caroline Adams on 17 April 1974 in Harlow, Essex, England, to Jacqueline Doreen (Cannon), an insurance clerk and hairdresser, and Anthony William Adams, an electronics engineer. She does not like being called Vicky. Instead, call her Posh, which stands for the best of everything (an old luxury liner term, P.O.S.H. stood for "Port Out, Starboard Home"-- the best rooms). Growing up, she didn't like being driven to school in her father's Rolls Royce (they were very wealthy; later, as Posh, she would have an image of someone who revels in wealth). Victoria began as a dancer before eventually landing a spot as a member of Spice Girls. While in college, Victoria was briefly in another band. After completing the 3-year course at Lanie Arts, she answered an ad in "The Stage" magazine, which was looking for 5 girls who could sing and dance. Victoria was picked, history was about to be made. (Victoria had met: Emma who had been in a play with her when they were kids; Geri while auditioning for a role in Tank Girl (1995); Mel C. attended a rival school when they were 15; and Mel B. at the audition for the forming of the band.) The Spice Girls became fantastically successful, achieving international fame. The wildly popular Spice Girls performed at sold-out concerts, did tours, and of course the Spice World (1997) movie. Victoria married soccer player David Beckham. The couple has four children.- Costume Designer

Mandy Coon is known for Barrel of Love (2012).- Chris Benz is an American designer whose bold, exuberant collections convey a sense of history as well as progress, and a keen understanding of the emotional, vibrant aspects of how women want to dress. With the best of American sportswear, European craftsmanship and the ever-evolving concept of modernity as his guides, Benz brings new life to the canon of women's wear essentials each season.
Benz attended the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York, where, in 2004, he was recognized with the coveted "Emerging Designer Award" from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). He launched his eponymous collection with the Fall/Winter 2007 season, drawing relevance and inspiration from his love of popular culture, art and architecture, as well his work at Marc Jacobs Collection and J. Crew, the venerable institution of classic American design. The New York Times immediately dubbed the premiere collection "the best example of the heightened level of sophistication that is expected of new designers today." Chris Benz signatures include unabashed use of color and texture, and deft use of prints. The designer is also acclaimed for his inventive subversion of traditional dressmaking codes and techniques, like the t-shirt expertly cut and rendered in an elegant fabric, or the resort gown with the simplicity of a pareo. His witty, distinct point-of-view has been described as "perfect imperfection," and the result is meant to feel accessible without sacrificing personality, and to reflect the dialogue between the wearer's style and her real life.
Chris Benz has been featured extensively in such publications as The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Women's Wear Daily, and international editions of Marie Claire, Glamour, InStyle. Outside the fashion world, Benz has been featured extensively in the media in both television and online, notably on HBO's How To Make It In America, E's Fashion Police, and Bravo's Styled To Rock, produced by Rihanna. His irreverent personality has generated a dedicated international social media audience.
Over the past decade, Benz has designed for both his own women's ready-to-wear collection, as well as with some of the most esteemed brands and companies in the world, refining their vision through both collaborative design and creative consultation. In recent years, Benz assumed the role of Industry Mentor for the Fashion School at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia, as well as having been awarded the Pantone Award "Best Use of Color By A Designer" by WGSN.
In his current role as Creative Director in charge of the reintroduction of Bill Blass in 2015, Benz is working diligently towards transitioning the great American 20th Century company into a global 21st Century brand. - Costume and Wardrobe Department

Stella Nina McCartney was born in London, England in 1971 to famed rock photographer Linda McCartney and ex-Beatle Paul McCartney. Stella's birth almost ended tragically; mother and child almost died as father prayed that she would be delivered "on the wings of an angel", thus inspiring the name of her parents' band "Wings". McCartney admits she had a "normal" childhood, despite her famous parents; though she traveled the globe with her parents, the whole family lived in a two-bedroom house while she was growing up. Stella was on her own and independent by the time she was in college, making her own money (sometimes by washing dishes in a nearby restaurant). At 15 she had the opportunity to work with Christian Lacroix on his first couture collection, and in 1995 she graduated from London's Central St Martins College of Art & Design, showcasing at her collection of clothes modeled by good celebrity friends Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. In 1997, with two collections under her belt, McCartney was appointed chief designer at Paris fashion house Chloé, but resigned four years later to enter in a joint venture with the Gucci Group. The line opened three stores and later Stella expanded her brand to include perfume. In 2000, she was presented VH1/Vogue Designer of the Year award by her father. Most recently, McCartney designed a line of clothing and accessories for H&M, helping sales to skyrocket with her designer name. In August 2003 she married publisher Alasdhair Willis.- Costume Designer

Jil Sander spent her childhood and youth in Wesselburen. She showed exceptional fashion awareness at a young age when she wore trousers instead of petticoats in the 1950s. After attending secondary school, Sander began studying textile engineering. After graduating, she moved to the United States. There she worked as an editorial assistant at McCalls magazine in Los Angeles. Two years later she returned to Germany. She settled in her hometown of Wesselburen and worked as a fashion journalist in Hamburg for the magazine "Constanze" and later for "Petra".
In 1967 Sander became self-employed. She opened her first fashion boutique in the Pöseldorf district of Hamburg on the Milchstrasse, where she offered fashion from Paris as well as her own designs. In 1974 she presented her own collection to the public for the first time, but it didn't initially make a big splash. It wasn't until two years later that the onion look or layered look & combination fashion helped her achieve great success. Just two years later, in 1978, Sander became the first German designer to complement her fashion with the famous "Jil Sander Woman Pur" care range. She advertised her perfume with her own face. In the same year, the Japanese fashion magazine "High Fashion" listed Sander as one of the world's twelve best fashion designers. In the United States, she made a name for herself as the "Queen of the Less" with the emphasized simplicity of her style.
In 1983, Sander gained a foothold on the Italian market with her fashion. This was followed by branches in New York, in Asian metropolises and in Paris. In 1984 she designed accessories and eyewear, and in 1986 leather coats, knitwear, ties and pocket squares completed Sanders' creative offering. Their products had long since become respected branded goods. She became one of the most important leaders in the international fashion market and not only made German fashion popular at home and worldwide, but also set new trends. Sander became the most famous German fashion designer. She attached great importance to the quality of not only the material, but also the workmanship and design. The fashion tsarina personally preferred trouser suits and simple blazers. In general, she tended towards simplicity in fashion.
Sander avoided superfluous details, although she still tended towards the avant-garde. She made this view her maxim and characterized her design. Sander realized her ideas in clear, strict lines as an elegant style that was visible in the finest materials. In addition to her great success in fashion, Sander also shone as an entrepreneur. She built an international company. In 1989 her company became a stock corporation and was listed on the stock exchange. In 1993 she opened the first flagship store in the international fashion metropolis of Paris, presenting current fashion trends on over 900 square meters spread over four floors. In 1997 she included men's fashion in her collection for the first time. In 1999, the Sanders company was transferred to the Italian Prada Group, which had acquired a majority shareholding.
Initially, the designer was supposed to continue to be responsible for designing the collections, but she quickly gave up this job due to misunderstandings with the new management. At the beginning of 2000, Sander resigned as CEO of Jil Sander AG. The Jil Sander Group was considered one of the most profitable on the international fashion market with sales of 226.6 million German marks. In May 2003, Sander returned to her former company as a designer. In this role, she brought Prada new business success with the presentation of its women's collection in autumn 2003. However, due to ongoing differences with the former Gucci manager Gian Giacomo Ferraris, who had taken over the management from Jil Sander and ordered a controversial austerity program, Sander once again and permanently separated from the Hamburg fashion company she founded in mid-November 2004.
Shortly before, her spring 2005 collection had been enthusiastically celebrated.

Mary-Kate Olsen (born June 13, 1986) is an American actress, fashion designer, producer, author, and businesswoman. She co-founded luxury fashion brands The Row, Elizabeth and James, and the more affordable lines Olsenboye and StyleMint alongside her fraternal twin sister Ashley Olsen. Olsen pursued acting independently as an adult until 2012. She is the older sister of actress Elizabeth Olsen.
Mary-Kate was born in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Jarnette "Jarnie", a personal manager, and David "Dave" Olsen, a real estate developer and mortgage banker. Along with her twin, Ashley, she has an older brother, Trent, a younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, and two half siblings from her father's second marriage. Olsen's parents divorced in 1996.
Along with Ashley, Olsen was cast at the age of nine months to share the role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House. The Olsen twins portrayed Michelle throughout the series' 1987-95 run. In the early 1990s, she and Ashley established a company, Dualstar, which produced a long string of TV movies and direct-to-video releases featuring the girls. The Olsens continued to release direct-to-video films up to the early 2000s, along with starring in the 1995 feature film It Takes Two. In 1997, the Olsen twins guest starred in an episode of Sister, Sister, alongside rival twin actresses Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry. After Full House, the sisters starred in two other sitcoms (Two of a Kind and So Little Time) and an animated series (Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!). The former lasted one season while the latter ran for two seasons. These ventures, combined with an array of licensing deals for their names and likenesses, made Olsen wealthy at a young age. In 2004, Olsen's wealth was estimated at $137 million.
Olsen and her sister became co-presidents of Dualstar upon their eighteenth birthday. Olsen's first solo acting appearance was in the movie Factory Girl, released in December 2006. Olsen's one short scene was ultimately cut from theatrical release, but was included on the film's DVD. In 2007, the sisters said that if they became involved in movies together again it would be as producers. Olsen had a recurring role on Weeds . In 2008, she appeared in The Wackness. Mary-Kate and Ashley felt that their futures were in fashion, and not in acting. They discussed wanting to open a store as one of their future fashion-based endeavors.
In 2015 it was announced that John Stamos signed on with Netflix to produce and co-star in Fuller House, a spin-off Full House that would reunite the original cast members for a 13-episode series. Mary-Kate and Ashley originally announced in May 2015 that they will not reprise their role as Michelle Tanner.
Nickelodeon acquired the rights to the Olsen twins' video library in 2015.
In 1993, following Mary-Kate and Ashley's success on Full House, a limited liability company, Dualstar was created to produce Mary-Kate and Ashley-branded products.
In 2004, both Mary-Kate and Ashley took control of Dualstar, becoming joint-CEOs and presidents of the company, which at the time had its merchandise being carried in over 3,000 stores in America and 5,300 stores worldwide.

Following a high volume of public interest in their fashion choices, the sisters began work in collaboration on a string of fashion lines available to the public. Starting as young girls, the Olsen twins started a clothing line in Wal-Mart stores across America for girls ages 4 to 14 as well as a beauty line called "Mary-Kate and Ashley: Real fashion for real girls". In 2004 they made news by signing a pledge to allow all the workers that sew their line of clothing in Bangladesh full maternity leave. The National Labor Committee, which organized the pledge, later praised the twins for their commitment to worker rights.
In 2006, in an attempt to gain credibility in the fashion industry after their association with Wal-Mart tarnished their reputations, they were tapped as the faces of the upscale fashion line Badgley Mischka.
As adults, the Olsen twins have devoted much of their attention to the world of fashion. They head a couture fashion label, "The Row," as well as "Elizabeth and James", "Olsenboye", and "StyleMint" retail collections. Mary-Kate's sometimes controversial fashion choices have often found her on both the best and worst dressed fashion lists, particularly for her decision to wear fur. Mary-Kate and Ashley designed an Olsenboye Change Purse in 2011 and donated the money to "Pennies From Heaven".
In 2011, Mary-Kate and Ashley teamed up with TOMS Shoes to design footwear for kids without shoes in more than 20 countries worldwide. Mary-Kate and Ashley are now the creative directors for Superga. Mary-Kate was a close friend of late actor Heath Ledger. After discovering Ledger unconscious in his bed in January 2008, his masseuse called Olsen twice before contacting police. Olsen sent a private security guard to the scene.
Responding to a claim by an anonymous law enforcement official that she would not speak to federal investigators without a promise of legal immunity, Olsen's attorney Michael C. Miller said, "We have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger's death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed".- Actress
