2021-2022 TV Season Cancellations

On 1/18/22, CBS announced the crime drama will be ending with the currently airing sixth season. This makes the first official cancellation announcement of the TV season. The series will have 125 episodes with the finale airing May 26. Being in the middle of production, they likely have enough time to wrap the story up.

On 3/4/22, FOX cancelled the freshman musical series. Leap had a great deal of critical acclaim but was the lowest rated series for the network this season. It had a total of 11 episodes.

Update: On June 30th, NBC announced they had picked up the series for two seasons of ten episodes each.
