Decent TV Series

S01: What If...? may not add much to the larger MCU narrative, but surprising takes on beloved characters and some of the best action sequences in the entire franchise make for engaging viewing.

Lucy Lawless exudes steely charisma in Xena: Warrior Princess, a swashbuckling actioner that transcends its origin as a spinoff and becomes a fully realized saga in its own right.

S01: Under the Dome is an effective and engrossing horror/mystery with airtight plotting and great special effects. S02: Though it reins in some of the first season's absurdity and shows potential for improvement, Under the Dome's second season still feels like a ride with no closure. S03: Under the Dome's third season introduces some new science fiction elements to kickstart interest in this petri dish of civilization, but the series' gonzo narrative otherwise runs out of fresh directions to go.

Melodramatic and schmaltzy, Ghost Whisperer traffics in contrived uplift and makes a hash of the rules governing its supernatural universe.
