Actor Ryan Carnes has amassed numerous credits over the years, including roles in the smash hit ABC series "Desperate Housewives," and Clint Eastwood's LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA. Most recently, Carnes starred in the Hulu Holiday film CUPID FOR CHRISTMAS, streaming on the platform.
Carnes grew up on a farm outside a small rural town in Illinois. As an only child, he spent much of his time in nature, exploring the acres of woods that surrounded his family's property. Beyond that, he dedicated his formative years to academics, basketball, baseball, and drumming. In addition to film and television, Carnes has been diving into songwriting and aims to release a full length record with music partner Vanessa Silberman in 2022.
The Illinois native first discovered acting at Duke University, where he majored in Public Policy. He set aside his original plans for law school in order to pursue acting in Los Angeles, where he immediately landed the role of Justin on season 1 of ABC's mega hit TV series "Desperate Housewives," alongside Eva Longoria and Shawn Pyfrom.
From there, he continued to book steady work that brought him international recognition. He made an extended appearance on the legendary British sci-fi series "Doctor Who," as the popular character Laszlo (forever commemorated through an actual action figure, sculpted in his likeness). He fulfilled his childhood dream of dawning superhero tights in the title role in the SYFY limited run series "The Phantom." In 2016, Carnes took a turn as a troubled wanderer in the 2016 short film titled, "The Golden Year," written and directed by Salvador Paskowitz (THE AGE OF ADELINE). Carnes also starred opposite Mexican superstar Omar Chaparro in LA BODA DE VALENTINA, one of Mexico's top 10 grossing films of all time.

She grew up in Los Angeles, California and performs and writes in two local indie bands. Two of her songs were featured in the film 'Luce' starring Octavia Spencer and Naomi Watts and Netflix's coming of age show 'Never Have I Ever.'- Genie Francis was born on May 26, 1962 in Englewood, New Jersey to actors Ivor Francis and Rosemary Daley. She grew up in Long Island, New York and California. She has an older brother, Ivor Francis, and a younger brother, Kenneth Francis, and a half-sister, Shelley Francis. The attractive, blonde Ms. Francis got her start in television on General Hospital (1963), as a teenager (following a guest appearance on ABC's prime-time series, Family (1976)) and literally grew up in the enormously popular role of "Laura". As portrayed by Genie Francis, Laura has become one of the most beloved characters in daytime television. In 1981, after five years on General Hospital (1963), Ms. Francis left the show and returned, briefly, two years later and again in 1984 and, finally, on October 29, 1993. The wedding of Laura to "Luke Spencer" (played by Anthony Geary) in November 1981, remains the most-watched daytime drama event in the history of television. The fictional couple's romance even garnered a cover story in Newsweek magazine. Genie's extensive television work also included recurring appearances on Murder, She Wrote (1984). She starred in the prime-time series, "Bare Essence" (1982), and the television miniseries, "North and South", both with actor Jonathan Frakes, who went on to become her husband. She successfully battled substance abuse problems. Francis created the role of "Diana Colville" on NBC's daytime serial, Days of Our Lives (1965), in 1987 and played the role for two years, but she didn't like it and she left. Soon she originated the role of "Ceara Connor" on ABC's daytime drama, All My Children (1970), in 1990. Her portrayal of an adult incest survivor earned her critical and viewer plaudits. On the stage she has appeared in "Crimes of the Heart" and "See How They Run". In 1991 Ms. Francis appeared in the Williamstown Festival Theater Production of "Defying Gravity". That same year Genie made her New York City debut in "The Baby Dance" at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in Greenwich Village. She also appeared in a Comedic Curtain Raiser at Manhattan Class Company for their festival of One Acts, called "The Group". In 1988, Genie married actor/director Jonathan Frakes, who starred in the popular syndicated television series, Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). They maintain residences in both Los Angeles and Manhattan. Their first child, Jameson Ivor Frakes, was born on August 20, 1994. Their second child, Elizabeth Francis, was born on May 30, 1997. Ms. Francis has been with "General Hospital" on-and-off over the years, winning the much-coveted Emmy award as Best Supporting Actress for her role as "Laura" in 2007. But she stated she didn't want to play a wounded dove like Laura anymore and wanted to play stronger characters. In 2011 she got her wish when she started playing the role of the manipulative "Genevieve Atkinson" on another daytime drama, The Young and the Restless (1973). Although she earned an Emmy nomination for the role, she was let go in 2012 for economic reasons. Soon after she closed her store called "The Cherished Home" in Belfast, Maine, where had she sold cottage furnishings and home accessories. In 2013 she returned to her role as "Laura" on General Hospital (1963).

Born in Inglewood, California, Michael was raised and educated in both the US and Ireland - the homeland of his parents - and double majored in English and History at UCLA. He traveled through Europe, parts of Africa and India, supporting himself as a bartender and in various construction jobs. All the while he photographed, wrote, and chronicled his experiences. It was probably the best education anyone could have had - and almost certainly influenced his work later as an actor and award-winning writer-director.
His first major series role was on "Days of Our Lives"; he got the part of Tanner Scofield when he was 25, and this began a long relationship with Daytime. Michael was also named one of People's "50 Most Beautiful", appeared in several primetime television movies, and things began to click for his career as an actor. But he put everything on hold when his mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer two years later in 1993, and returned to Los Angeles to care for her until her death in 1994.
Michael returned to acting with Fox's VR-5 as Duncan, and followed up with an intriguing turn as identical twin brothers in legendary showrunner Stephen J. Cannell's "Two", for which he wrote the episodes "AD" and the series finale, "The Reckoning". His appearance on the iconic series "Ally McBeal", as nude model Glen, was almost as memorable as the Dancing Baby. The episode went on to win an Emmy, and Michael continued to play the role on both "Ally McBeal" and sister show, "The Practice" - both brainchildren of series producer David Kelley.
In 1997 he landed a role on Damon Wayans' 413 Hope Street with Jesse L. Martin and Richard Roundtree. Easton played Nick Carrington, a former drug addict and counselor at an inner-city crisis center. The show tackled topics including the struggles of drug addiction and recovery, homelessness, racism, hate crimes, HIV and AIDS, social justice, income inequality, and disproportionate Black conviction and incarceration. Easton later described the experience as one of the most creatively and personally rewarding of his career.
After a Gemini-nominated turn as the detective David Hume in Showtime's "Total Recall 2070", Michael returned to Daytime with ABC's "Port Charles", a spinoff of "General Hospital" - with a decidedly more supernatural bent - and the start of an extraordinary run playing an unprecedented five characters within the overall "General Hospital" universe.
Michael helped shape and create the now-iconic Caleb Morley - a vampire, rockstar, and bad boy the viewers loved. The character was wildly popular with viewers and was arguably a forerunner to later vampire protagonists in "Angel", "True Blood", "The Vampire Diaries", and even "Twilight". When "Port Charles" ended, Michael began work as John McBain on "One Life to Live" in 2003 - a role he played for the next nine years - and later carried over to "General Hospital". Currently he plays Dr. Hamilton Finn, an infectious disease specialist and epidemiologist. His performance as the character battled addiction and subsequent struggle in withdrawal and recovery earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2018.
His 2011 graphic novel trilogy "Soul Stealer" was a critical success and praised by Aint It Cool News as "Graphic Novel of the Year". Michael's story, combined with artist Christopher Shy's masterful visualizations, made for a stunning partnership of words and pictures. Michael had also struck a friendship with Peter Straub - who had been a dedicated "One Life to Live" viewer. The author visited the set in New York and left a gift in Michael's mailbox - a copy of his novel "Koko". It was a novel Michael's mother had loved, and in that way things have of coming full circle, Michael later collaborated with Straub, writing the terrifying novel "The Green Woman" for DC Comics.
A proud member of the Writers Guild of America, Michael also adapted and wrote the screenplay for "Daedelus is Dead", a short film based on an unfinished script by Doors legend Jim Morrison. The film has screened at more than a dozen major film festivals and was bought by The Sundance Channel. His feature detailing the life of actor Montgomery Clift is being produced by Relativity Media, while another screenplay about Ella Fitzgerald is in development with Norman Lear.
Michael penned the gritty novel "Credence", published by Blackwatch Comcs - a company he formed and co-owns with Christopher Shy and Emmalee Pearson. In 2015, he also wrote and directed short films "Dreamliner" and the award-winning "Ultraviolent" - both starring his friend and former OLTL castmate Trevor St. John. In 2020 he teamed up again with St. John, and former co-stars Sherri Saum and Rebecca Budig on the short film About a Girl, written by Budig and directed by Easton. The film won the Outstanding Achievement Award in the 2020 Best Shorts Film Festival, praising the "Deft direction, beautiful craft, and achingly authentic performance by Budig."- John J. York was born on 10 December 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is an actor, known for General Hospital (1963), Werewolf (1987) and Night of the Creeps (1986). As a testament to her passion and talent, former 1950s pig-tailed moppet star Patty McCormack has remained a consistent presence on film and TV for over five decades. While the lovely and talented blonde suffered her share of hard knocks and obvious stereotypes in adjusting to an adult career, she did not fade away into oblivion or self destruct as other vulnerable child stars before her did.
Born Patricia Ellen Russo in Brooklyn, New York, to Frank Russo, a firefighter, and the former Elizabeth McCormack, a roller skating pro, the young girl found herself modeling at age 4. Two years later, she had progressed to films with bits in Two Gals and a Guy (1951) and Here Comes the Groom (1951). Soon thereafter she made her Broadway debut (at age 6) in the short-lived play "Touchstone" starring Ossie Davis.
While simultaneously appearing in the live television series Mama (1949) [aka "I Remember Mama"], the by-now 8-year-old returned to Broadway a second time and created the role that would make her a cult sensation -- "Rhoda Penmark", the tiny, braided little demon with murderous intentions in "The Bad Seed". Starring Nancy Kelly as her put-upon, overly-trusting mother, the show became a certifiable hit. The two actors were invited to recreate their famous roles in the film version, The Bad Seed (1956), and achieved equally fine results. No child before her had ever been given such a deliberately evil, twisted role and Patty chewed up the scenery with courteous malevolence. Though the film today may come off as extremely stagy and overly mannered to some, its fascination cannot be denied. Audiences took readily to Patty and her wicked ways and the young actress earned both Oscar and Golden Globe "Best Supporting Actress" nominations.
The film would be a hard act to follow or forget. So strongly identified with the role, Patty found it difficult for audiences to see her any other way. She tried finding some variance as a pioneer girl in All Mine to Give (1957), a testy child star in Kathy O' (1958) and a tomboy in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1960) but the memory of "Rhoda Penmark" would not be so easily wiped away. She suffered typical teen angst in the film The Explosive Generation (1961) with William Shatner and had to make do as a young adult in such low-level movies as The Mini-Skirt Mob (1968), Maryjane (1968) and The Young Animals (1968).
By the 1970s Patty, who had spent so much time as a child doing live television, found herself again relying on the medium for steadier work. Billed now as a more grown-up "Patricia McCormack", she also appeared in a variety of legit stage productions and, on occasion, found roles in independent films. Appearing in more than 250 episodes of some of the most successful programs around, audiences may remember her giving sensible, wifely support to Jeffrey Tambor on The Ropers (1979), the short-lived spin-off of the Three's Company (1976) sitcom, or from her recurring role as "Evelyn Michaelson" on Dallas (1978). More recently on film and TV, she played "Adrianna"'s mother, "Liz LaCerva", on HBO's hit The Sopranos (1999) and appeared in guest form on NYPD Blue (1993), Cold Case (2003), Grey's Anatomy (2005), Entourage (2004) and What About Brian (2006). She also played former "First Lady" "Pat Nixon" in the film Frost/Nixon (2008).
In 1995, Patty's devoted fans reveled when she felt comfortable enough to embrace again her "Bad Seed" behavior by starring in the low-budget horror feature Mommy (1995) and its sequel Mommy's Day (1997) [aka "Mommy 2"]. She came full circle as a most pernicious homemaker who created violent, Rhoda-worthy ends for those unlucky enough to cross her path.
Patti's millennium films, a variety of comedy, drama and, of course, horror films, would include The Medicine Show (2001), Choosing Matthias (2001), Shallow Ground (2004), Frost/Nixon (2008) (as First Lady Pat Nixon), Soda Springs (2012), Buttwhistle (2014), Chicanery (2017) and a lead in the lowbudget mystery House of Deadly Secrets (2018). As for TV, in addition to guest parts on such shows as "The D.A.," "N.Y.P.D. Blue," "Grey's Anatomy," "Entourage," "Criminal Minds," "Shark," "Private Practice," "Citizen Jane," "Desperate Housewives," "Prime Suspect," "Hawaii Five-0, she had recurring roles on The Sopranos (1999), Have You Met Miss Jones? (2012), Hart of Dixie (2011) and the daytime series General Hospital (1963) as Dr. Monica Quartermaine. She also played the small role of a doctor in a remake of her cult film The Bad Seed (2018).
A mother herself with two children, Robert and Danielle, Patty was once married to Bob Catania, a restaurateur. She was also an eight-year companion to screenwriter and playwright Ernest Thompson of On Golden Pond (1981) fame.- Actress

Leaving his hometown of Dayton, Ohio, Stephen Nichols traveled West, not in search of "fame and fortune," but to become a monk. He landed in Hollywood at the Self-Realization Fellowship Temple, where he studied yoga, cooked vegetarian meals for the residents and lived the monk's life preparing to enter the ashram. After three years of deep meditation, celibacy, and a steady diet of the films of Truffaut, Bergman and Cassavetes, Nichols realized being a monk was not his path. Rick Springfield was born Richard Lewis Springthorpe in Guildford, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, to Eileen Louise (Evennett) and Norman James Springthorpe, a Lt. Colonel in the Australian Army. His maternal grandparents were English, and his father was of English and some Scottish descent. Rick spent his childhood on various army bases in Australia and Britain. As a teenager, he fronted many music bands, such as the "Jordy Boys", "Wakedy Wak", and "Zoot". The latter was his most successful, paving his way for future success as a musician. He came to the U.S. early 1970s, and recorded an album, Beginnings. It had one "major" hit - Speak to The Sky. After that came "Comic Book Heroes", which was marginally successful.
He learned to speak English with an American accent to further his acting career, after he lost his record label. While he waited for his big break, he signed a contract with Universal television, playing bit parts in shows such as The Six Million Dollar Man (1974) and The Rockford Files (1974). He also had a recurring role on the soap The Young and the Restless (1973). In the early 1980s, his luck changed as he signed to RCA Records and was then cast as "Dr. Noah Drake" on the soap General Hospital (1963). While he had released six albums in the 1970s, his 1980 break-through album "Working Class Dog" gave him the #1 single "Jessie's Girl". From the music and TV exposure, he became a teen idol. He continued to star on "GH" while touring and releasing "Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet", with the hit "Don't Talk To Strangers". Upon releasing his 3rd album with RCA-"Living In Oz" he quit "GH" and went back to his rock roots. "Living In Oz" is considered by many his finest (and hardest rock) album. He starred in the movie Hard to Hold (1984) in 1984 and released the soundtrack to it with the hit "Love Somebody", followed by "Don't Walk Away" and "Bop Til Ya Drop". His next album, "Tao", started his slow descent from rock star status. It was followed up in 1988 by "Rock Of Life" which was his 'moodiest' and least recognized album (by the public).

Jane Elliot was born Janury 17, 1947 in New York City. Despite never being academically taught acting (she took voice and acting classes instead), Elliott got an agent at age 17 who sent her auditioning for the most diverse roles which eventually jump-started her career. Elliott made her daytime debut in the short-lived ABC soap A Flame in the Wind (1964) in 1965. She later guest-starred in a number of television series, like Mod Squad (1968), _Kojak(1965)_ and Barnaby Jones (1973). Elliot also co-starred in films Change of Habit (1969) opposite 'Elvis Presley' qv) and Mary Tyler Moore, and One Is a Lonely Number (1972). She had a lead role in the short-lived NBC series Rosetti and Ryan (1977) in 1977. On the set of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (1976) Elliott met future soap icon Deidre Hall with whom she has become close friends ever since; prompting her to consider work in daytime television. Said and done: Elliot is best known for her role as Tracy Quartermaine, wealthy daughter of Edward and Lila Quartermaine, on the ABC daytime soap opera, General Hospital (1963). The role was especially created for her as legendary producer Gloria Monty took a liking on Elliott who had auditioned for the nowadays entirely forgotten role of Dr. Gina Dante vacated by Anna Stuart. Elliot debuted in 1978 and quickly became a fan favorite. Her first stint was highlighted by an iconic episode where Tracy withheld the heart medication from her father when he faked a heart attack. She left in 1980 and won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1981. The same year, she landed the recurring role of Judy Trent on the prime time CBS series Knots Landing (1979). Elliot starred as Carrie Todd in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light (1952) from 1981 to 1982, herself citing the character created by legendary head writer Douglas Marland as the most demanding role of her career. The character was revealed to be the killer of both Diane Ballard and Joe Bradley, and after marrying Ross Marler (Jerry verDorn), was revealed to be suffering from a split personality. From 1984 to 1986 she played the role of Cynthia Chandler Preston Courtlandt on All My Children (1970), marrying Palmer Cortlandt for his money while having an affair with his son, Ross Chandler, whom Cynthia happened to be divorced from. That same year, Elliott's marriage to Luis Rojas, who was the father of her first son, ended. She moved back to West Coast and was a contender for the lead role of Stephanie Forrester on the soon-to-launch The Bold and the Beautiful (1987). Elliott happily accepted the role of the snooty Anjelica Deveraux on Days of Our Lives (1965) where she had an affair with the much younger Justin Kiriakis played by Wally Kurth and married Dr. Neil Curtis in spite of the fact that she was pregnant with Justin's child. In 1987 Elliot also appeared in the films _Some Kind of Wonderful (1987)_ 8qv) and Baby Boom (1987). After two years on "Days", she was lured back to "General Hospital" in 1989 and in 1991 was reunited with Kurth who was cast as Tracy's son, Ned Ashton. Jane left again in mid 1993 after a disagreement over her story-line direction due to conflict over her character's reaction to her daughter-in-law Jenny Eckert's teenage abortion. After being mentored by "Days"-producer Al Rabin on Valley of the Dolls (1994), Elliott was ready to embark on a whole new chapter of her career: In 1995 she became a producer on the newly revamped New York City soap The City (1995). When series star Morgan Fairchild left after her initial contract was over, network executives convinced Elliott to reprise her of Tracy Quartermaine to give the low-rated show some much-needed publicity. Following a brief stint on "GH" during which Tracy unsuccessfully tried to take over ELQ, Elliott became the new star of "The City" until its cancellation in 1997. On "The City", Tracy married into the mob, a story-line which would cross-over to "GH" years later. In 2003 Elliott once again moved to the West Coast and she shortly after returned to General Hospital as a regular cast member. Eventually she was paired with long-time friend Anthony Geary as Tracy and Luke were married in a drunken wedding, making Tracy's married name "Tracy Spencer", although she kept Quartermaine as her last name. In 2014, Elliott was nominated for another Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, 33 years after her win and 21 years since her last nomination.- Actor

Known for his breakthrough starring role on Freaks and Geeks (1999), James Franco was born April 19, 1978 in Palo Alto, California, to Betsy Franco, a writer, artist, and actress, and Douglas Eugene "Doug" Franco, who ran a Silicon Valley business. His mother is Jewish and his father was of Portuguese and Swedish descent.
Growing up with his two younger brothers, Dave Franco, also an actor, and Tom Franco, James graduated from Palo Alto High School in 1996 and went on to attend UCLA, majoring in English. To overcome his shyness, he got into acting while studying there, which, much to his parents' dismay, he left after only one year. After fifteen months of intensive study at Robert Carnegie's Playhouse West, James began actively pursuing his dream of finding work as an actor in Hollywood. In that short time, he landed himself a starring role on Freaks and Geeks (1999). The show, however, was not a hit to its viewers at the time, and was canceled after its first year. Now, it has become a cult-hit. Prior to joining Freaks and Geeks (1999), Franco starred in the TV miniseries To Serve and Protect (1999). After that, he had a starring role in Whatever It Takes (2000).
Although he'd been working steadily, it wasn't until the TNT made-for-television movie, James Dean (2001) that James rose to fan-magazine fame and got to show off his talent. Since then, he has been working non-stop. After losing the lead role to Tobey Maguire, James settled for the part of "Harry Osborne", Spider-Man's best friend in the summer 2002 major hit Spider-Man (2002). He returned to the Osborne role for the next two films in the trilogy.
Next was Deuces Wild (2002) and City by the Sea (2002), in which Robert De Niro personally had him cast, after viewing his performance in James Dean (2001). He was seen in David Gordon Green's Pineapple Express (2008) opposite Seth Rogen, in George C. Wolfe's Nights in Rodanthe (2008), starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane and in Paul Haggis' In the Valley of Elah (2007), starring Tommy Lee Jones. Also starring opposite Sean Penn in Gus Van Sant's Milk (2008) in which his performance earned him an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actor. Jacob Wayne Young was born in Renton, Washington, to now-divorced parents Michael and Rhonda, joining siblings Michael, Tiffany and Charity. After spending his childhood in both Washington and Oregon, he caught the acting bug doing high-school musicals. Without any prior professional acting work on his resume, Young scored big at the tender age of 18 when he landed the part of Eric Forrester Jr, called Rick, on the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful (1987). Following his debut on December 31, 1997 the newcomer quickly gained frontburner-status and formed a highly popular love couple with Adrienne Frantz's Amber Moore. Despite earning a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1999 and getting the chance to incorporate his singing ambitions on the show, Young opted to leave amidst a red-hot storyline to pursue other opportunities in the Fall of 1999. In 2000, Young landed the coveted recast role of Lucky, son of Luke and Laura Spencer on General Hospital (1963), for which he won the 2002 Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Younger Actor. He left this show in February 2003 looking to spread his wings. Surprisingly, Young returned to daytime television a mere 6-months-later once again taking over the highly coveted part of the son of a core patriarch: now stepping in as JR Chandler on All My Children (1970). This role caused the actor to move to New York City - and as part of the deal Young got to make his Broadway debut, playing Lumiére from May to August 2006 in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast". He had previously released an eponymous CD, Jacob Young, in 2001. For his work on "All My Children" Young received two further Daytime Emmy Nominations, including one as Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2009. He stayed with the show - also playing the same role on sister-show One Life to Live (1968) on several occasions during a highly-rated baby switch-storyline - until its cancellation in 2011. Proving his track record as being one of the most-sought actors of his generation amongst soap opera executives, Young was instantly snatched up by The Bold And The Beautiful. After returning to the series that started his career, Young is once again playing Rick Forrester on the CBS daytime drama and in 2012 also brought his character to The Young and the Restless (1973) for a one-day-visit. Briana came all the way from Miami Florida to attend the University of Southern California. There she graduated with her BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in Theatre Acting and confirmed for herself this was the career she was passionate about pursuing. Having not had much acting experience prior to graduating high school, she entered a "Poetry Out Loud" competition where she performed two poems, made it to state finals and fell in love with the exchange that takes place when an artist and an audience are in the same space. Growing up with a mother who was a Jazz singer, and a father who always had the dream of becoming a writer, she never really stood a chance of not becoming an artist. Having been inspired by the competition, her father found a month long acting program at USC where she would then seek the opportunity to audition for the program that next year.
While attending USC, Briana was given the opportunity to become a recurring character on the well-known Soap Opera, The Young and the Restless. Having originally landed a role for just one episode, her character was expanded to 16. The Young and the Restless opened the door to a series of other opportunities on several different shows. Some of those shows being NBC's Undateable, CW's Jane the Virgin, ABC's Stitchers, and most recently HBO's Insecure and The Morning Show on Apple +. She is currently a series regular on the long running Soap Opera General Hospital.

Her career started when a Polaroid picture of the 13-year-old girl made its way into the hands of a Los Angeles modeling agency. By the age of 15, Marisa began to work as a print model and as a commercial actress. It wasn't long before demand became global, offering her opportunities to work in Singapore, Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong and Italy.
Despite her success in modeling, it was acting classes that helped Marisa overcome her life-long shyness. After several guest appearances on Days of our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful, Ramirez finally got her big break in July 2000, when she was cast in the contract role of supermodel Gia Campbell on General Hospital. She left this role in December 2002 to star in the short-lived ABC drama, Miracles. During her time on GH, she was nominated for ALMA and NAACP Awards.
In April 2006, she joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Jabot Cosmetics public relations consultant Carmen Mesta for five months. The character of Carmen was killed off. Ramirez briefly returned to the show in early 2007 as Carmen's cousin, Ines Vargas. Shortly after, she moved to Colombia to film the FOX summer series Mental, opposite Chris Vance and Annabella Sciorra.
In 2011, she was a series regular on Lifetime's "Against the Wall," playing Detective Lina Flores. Despite respectable ratings, the series was not renewed for a second season. Immediately prior to landing that role, Ramirez starred as Melitta on "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" which filmed in New Zealand.
