- Starting bodybuilding at the age of 17, he became German Champion in 1984.
- In 2008, Möller was honored as Grand Marshal of the German-American Steuben Parade in New York City. This is the largest German-American event in the country, and tens of thousands of fans celebrated Möller as one of only a few German actors with success in Hollywood.
- In June 1991, Möller announced his retirement as a bodybuilder in order to focus on his acting career. He has since stated that he has thoughts about having another go as a bodybuilder.
- Ralf Moeller and Dolph Lundgren co-starred together in Universal Soldier (1992). Years later, both actors auditioned for the role of Hagen in Gladiator (2000), with Lundgren losing it due to Ridley Scott being unimpressed by his acting and Moeller winning the role.
- Collaborated with German techno band "E Nomine" on some of their albums.
- He used to work as a lifeguard in a public swimming pool in his hometown.
- Enjoys motorcycling.
- Has two daughters named Laura and Jacqueline.
