- Willy Hameister was born on December 3, 1889 in Kranzfeld, Landkreis Greifenhagen, Pomerania. Willy was a cinematographer, known for The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), The Beggar from Cologne Cathedral (1927) and Sein Rekordflug (1914). Willy died on February 13, 1938 in Berlin, Germany.
