Welcome to this week’s WWE Week In Review! I’m Nathan Favel and we’ve plenty to cover in the second edition of the review. Let’s just jump right in.
Undertaker to wrestle Triple H one more time:
The following is courtesy of WWE.com: The Undertaker will wrestle Triple H for the last time in Australia for the WWE stadium show, later this year.
My Take: This sounds like it will be a good match and having the final match between each man for what should be around $70,000 people. It might dilute the Wrestlemania 28 match that was meant to be the “end of an era”, but having one of the bigger main events in WWE history return to help anchor a big card is a good idea (although building new main events would also be a good idea).

This year’s Survivor Series is being headlined by a five on five elimination match with Team Authority taking on Team Cena. With no WWE Title on the line because Brock Lesnar is sitting at home for a few months, WWE needed to do something big for the main event. Their idea was to have Vince McMahon come out on Raw a couple of weeks ago to say that if The Authority loses then Stephanie McMahon and Triple H will be removed from power.
The expectation is that Cena’s team is going to win at Survivor Series. Somebody like Ryback is going to do very well. Maybe Randy Orton will even show up. Most likely it’s gong to be a happy ending for the good guys. Why else would they announce the stipulation? It’s all about resetting things in WWE headed towards the new year.

Michael Cole. The hatred I possess for this man knows no bounds and continues to grow with every week he is on air. May the powers that be prevent me from taking control of a nuclear arsenal in the near future. Because at that rate, I should be just about ready to nuke the entire planet and commit mass genocide of the human race just to get his nasal, whiny little voice off the airwaves for good.
As a child, teen and a man in his 20s I have grown up with the ever changing face of the WWE broadcast team and enjoyed wonderful, entertaining and riveting banter from the likes of Jesse “the Body” Ventura, Lord Alfred Hayes (a personal favourite), Bobby “the Brain” Heenan, Gorilla Monsoon, the “Macho Man” Randy Savage, “Mean” Gene Okerlund, Jim Ross, Jerry “the King” Lawler, Paul Heyman, Joey Styles and even the man himself,...

You can’t teach just anybody to wrestle. This is a realization WWE are learning from their exploits into the bodybuilding and swimwear model categories in search of ready made good looking talent, in the words of former WWE commentator Kevin Kelly, “the grand experiment is a failure.” If you can’t teach someone to wrestle then the ability to convincingly speak and hold thousands on the edge of your lips is simply a distant imagination. It can be the one trait which makes or breaks a performer, if they obtain the ability of good speech, the sky’s the limit.
Speaking in wrestling is commonly referred to as, “cutting a promo.” Promo is defined as a promotional interview, or a skit where a talent takes time to speak on his characters thoughts, previous or upcoming opponents. This includes skits such as D-Generation X’s infamous press conference, Edge mocking Ric Flair’s DUI incident,...

It was announced at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings that Vickie Guerrero will be the Interim General Manager of Raw and SmackDown next week. For reasons unexplained, The Great Khali will be her assistant.
On this week’s Raw it was announced that until the WWE Board of Directors appoint new General Managers of both shows (which we imagine will probably happen at the 1,000th celebrations next month) there will be temporary hosts of the show each week, all of which will be former General Managers and Commissioners of Raw & SmackDown.
Mick Foley was the first guest host of the show this week and we now know Vickie Guerrero will be next week’s.
For future names that could serve as Interim Gm’s we are likely to see Teddy Long, William Regal, Paul Heyman, Vince McMahon (this one seems certain given his ability to boost ratings), Stephanie McMahon, Shawn Michaels,...

Mike Adamle -- the longtime host of the original " American Gladiators " -- was arrested around 1Am Monday morning on suspicion of DUI ... and cops say he was acting so "erratic" they tested him for drugs. Cops say 61-year-old Adamle -- a former Chicago Bears running back -- was pulled over after blowing through a stop sign in his 2002 BMW just outside the Chicago area. When cops approached the vehicle, they suspected Adamle had been boozing.
