The Arquette family is a three-generation family of entertainers and actors. Beginning with Cliff Arquette, the famous actor, and comedian, the family has continued to produce well-known actors. Like every family, the Arquette family isn’t without its flaws and dark secrets. The Arquette family also had its fair share of grass-to-grace experiences. Excerpts from an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show revealed the family once lived in poverty. That was in a commune without electricity, running water, and a bathroom. While the famous siblings had to endure and survive physical abuse and trauma, they all went on to have successful...

Pairing wine with movies! See the trailers and hear the fascinating commentary for these movies and many more at Trailers From Hell. This week, we examine three under-the-radar films which more than likely escaped your notice.
Uzmaki is a 2000 horror film based on a manga (Japanese graphic novel) which was still being created while the movie was being made. Hence, the two stories ended up with different endings. The plot centers on a town’s obsession with spirals, and the tendency of its inhabitants to turn into snails. The real horror? There is no French restaurant around to take advantage of the suddenly plentiful supply of king-sized escargot.
Beware if you see this in a theater and one of the patrons leaves a slimy trail as he exits.
The film was released as the lead picture of a double feature – which leaves us to wonder why the second half was...

Transgender actress and activist Alexis Arquette, who died Sunday morning at 47, was part of the Arquette family, one of Hollywood's largest and tightest-knit families. The thespian siblings - Rosanna, 57; Richmond, 53; Patricia, 48, and David, 45 - are the grandchildren of Cliff Arquette, one of the earliest radio and theater stars of the 20th century. Cliff's son Lewis would become known for playing J.D. Pickett on The Waltons from 1978–81 and moved the family to a commune in Virginia at one point. It was there, Alexis once recalled, that she began questioning her gender identity. The Arquettes' progressive nature meant that Alexis was supported from early on.

Justified Season 5 Episode 2: The Kids Aren’t All Right
Every new season of Justified is like getting a block of sandstone you chip away at, knowing you’ll unearth a treasure, a precious fossil or gem perhaps. But it requires patience to get that treasure out and hours of work. The season premieres are usually front-loaded with information; they are usually followed by some stand alone episodes containing more of that stone being chipped away – a little here, and a little there. Episode 502 continues that annual trend as our attention is diverted slightly from what transpired in “A Murder of Crowes” to follow up on one of our favorite recurring characters: Loretta McCready (played by Kaitlyn Dever, who never fails to impress).
You might remember her as the young girl Mags Bennett took in during season two, after her sons killed Loretta’s father. We also got to see...

David Arquette is gearing up for the arrival of his son with girlfriend Christina McLarty. And of course, that means one very important task at hand: deciding on the perfect name. The 42-year-old actor and the Entertainment Tonight correspondent attended The Art of Elysium's 7th Annual Heaven Gala on Saturday, Jan. 11 in Los Angeles and the proud papa dropped a few hints about possible choices for the little guy. "I've been a bit cryptic about it," Arquette told E! News. "It's going to be the name of my grandfather used to play. He was Cliff Arquette, but that's not the name we are thinking of." Let the guessing game begin! A source confirmed to E! News in November...

Big kudos to the fine folks at MGM Limited Edition DVD-r! They’ve dug deep in the vaults for a true oddity in the world of cinema and television ( sitcoms, to be more precise ) ! I will tell anyone who asks that my absolute favorite TV situation comedy of all time is that early sixties gem ” The Dick Van Dyke Show” ( desert island, only one TV comedy, no hesitation! ). Well one of the few people with even more admiration and affection for this bit of comic perfection is comedy writer and pop culture master Mark Evanier. One of the sites I’ve bookmarked ( and if you love entertainment you should too ) is his website/ blog newsfromme.com . In 2007 he alerted his readers to Don”T Worry We’LL Think Of A Title was airing on the Turner Classic Movie cable channel. He had seen it with his family while they were...

Los Angeles, California (X17online) - David Arquette is partnering up with Merv Griffin Entertainment to develop a new celebrity-based game-show called Ranking The Stars which he will also host. Stars is based on a Japanese format and has already been turned into a series in the Netherlands, Korea, and India. The show will be a cross between Hollywood Squares and Match Game, but will also play out like a roast. Seven celebrity panelists will take part in each episode, which will most-likely become a weekly primetime series. They will be asked to rank one another on a given topic, where they are forced to admit if they think they'd be more or less likely to do something embarrassing than the celeb sitting next to them. The money they win will be given to charity. Apparently Arquette's grandfather, Cliff Arquette, was a regular on several old Hollywood panel shows, playing character Charley Weaver.
