- She only worked as an actress in Hollywood from about 1964 to 1971. She was perhaps more famous as a professional harpist. After she stopped acting professionally, she played at Renaissance Fairs in California and tapes/CDs of her work were sold. Sadly, she died in 1984 at the age of 43 from skin cancer
- Both Indus and her grandmother were named for the Indus River in Tibet. Her grandmother once visited the river and Indus expressed a desire to also visit the river.
- Her father, Mac Julian (Mac "Julian" Saugstad), was a still cameraman for a number of Hollywood studios.
- In the summer of 1967, Arthur was involved in an auto accident where she was sent through the windshield, slashing her head and face. She had to wait several months before any plastic surgery could be done, but she was able to appear in an episode of Dragnet 1967 after Universal's make-up department was able to cover scars.
