- She is the only actress to have lead roles in both the "Star Trek" and "Doctor Who" franchises. She played Ensign Melora Pazlar in the Melora (1993) and Dr. Grace Holloway in Doctor Who: The Movie (1996).

- Daphne spent November 2010 touring the UK, doing signings and conventions, notably "Dimensions in Newcastle", along with Paul McGann and Yee Jee Tso. The trip culminated in an appearance in NY for the 25th anniversary of the Gallifreyan Embassy. Video from those appearances, and an earlier appearance in Chicago in 2009, was edited and released on DVD as "Daphne Ashbrook - Whirled Tour 2010".

- Appearing at Gallifrey One's Los Angeles Convention in February 2012 with 8th Doctor Paul McGann and the rest of the Doctor Who movie cast. Daphne performed songs from her Grace Notes CD to a standing room only crowd, who waved Sonic Screwdrivers as Paul McGann, Yee Jee Tso and comedian Charlie Ross sang back up for Daphne on "I Don't Need No Doctor". The night was catapulted higher with Charlie Ross' hilarious stand up.
- February 8, 2011 will see the long awaited release of the Doctor Who Movie from 1996 on DVD in the US. Legal wrangling prevented the release until now. The DVD includes many extras, interviews and commentaries.
- Guest starred in "Perry Mason: The Case of the Murdered Madam" (1987).
- Headlined the premiere mid-west "Doctor Who" convention "Chicago Tardis" in November 2009 alongside star Paul McGann & co-star Yee Jee Tso. This was their first joint appearance since the movie Doctor Who: The Movie (1996) in 1996. Also appearing were Torchwood (2006)'s Naoko Mori, Big Finish's Nicholas Briggs, Jason Haigh-Ellery & India Fisher, The Sarah Jane Adventures (2007)' script editor Gary Russell, "Doctor Who" producer Phil Collinson & others.
- Appeared in 3 different shows that starred Alfred Molina, though they never had a scene together - The Lodger (2009), Supreme Courtships (2007) and Law & Order: LA (2010).
- Recently headlined the "Doctor Who" convention "Gallifrey One the Nineteenth Symphony" along with Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred in Los Angeles, California. (February 2008)
- Released her first music CD "Grace Notes" on Dharmapala Records on Dec. 10, 2010. A collection of mostly cover tunes in the "americana" style but also has elements of pop and jazz. Also featured daughter Paton Ashbrook on vocals. Produced by David Vito Gregoli. It was selected for the 2010 Grammy nomination ballot.
- Was surprise guest at Los Angeles "Doctor Who" convention "Gallifrey 21". In a segment hosted by "Doctor Who Podshock", Daphne and Doctor Who: The Movie (1996) movie co-star Yee Jee Tso surprised and delighted the audience of devoted fans. (February 2010)
