Her theatre credits include: "Lola" in the musical "Damn Yankees" by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross (London Coliseum, 1957) (replaced by Elizabeth Seal after only a few weeks of performances). "Ulysses in Nightgown" (off-Broadway, 1958)
In 1937 she appeared, aged 14, in the show "Opera on Ice" in London, and in 1915 she took part in the touring revue "Ice Capades" across the USA. The revue was the basis for her film debut Ice-Capades (1941) .
