Alexander began acting professionally at age 9, and appeared in many
plays, musicals and operas in and around New York City. He appeared for
seven years as the Little Page, a role created specifically for him in
Amahl and the Night Visitors at Lincoln Center. He also portrayed the
Young Mozart in Music's Child Star's , also at Lincoln Center.
Alexander created the role of Ricky Lackworth, in the critically
acclaimed Equity Production of Mud People. In High School, Alexander
switched his attention from acting to writing and working behind the
scenes of theater and film. Alexander is heavily active in volunteer
work - from working with the homeless, infants with AIDS's and HOPE
Community Services. He got nominated for a United Way Volunteer of the
Year Award. He received a Certificate of Appreciation from Westchester
County for his efforts.
