Uni, Stuber/Parent laugh with Fay
Universal has picked up an untitled comedy pitch from Cameron Fay, with Mary Parent and Scott Stuber producing via their Stuber/Parent banner.
Fay will write and direct the relationship comedy, the plot details of which are being kept under wraps.
Alexa Faigen is overseeing for Stuber/Parent. Scott Bernstein and Maradith Frenkel are overseeing for Universal.
This is Fay's second project for Stuber/Parent and Universal. In March, he set up Unnatural Selection, a romantic comedy he wrote and will direct. Fay, who went NYU's Tisch Film School and was a Lew Wasserman Scholar, is riding on the strength of his two short films, Tom's War on Terror, which premiered this year at the South by Southwest Festival, and Redemption Song, which premiered at the Sedona International Film Festival.
Fay is repped by UTA and Mosaic.
