- She has two half sisters and one half brother, two step sisters and two step brothers and is her fathers only child.
- She has been collecting Harley Davidson T-shirts from dealerships since she was a kid.
- Trained as a gymnast growing up. She trained 6 hours every single day from the time she was 6 years old, and won many competitions. She was training for the Olympics but her family pulled her out after she tore her ACL skiing. She had reconstructive knee surgery in 2001.
- She studied Opera and is a mezzo soprano. She also sang in punk bands and wrote Klezzmer songs with her friend Mike Robertson whom she has been collaborating music with since grade school. She gave up music to focus solely on acting. Painting is her first love, but she keeps it precious by maintaining that it is just a hobby.
- Played "The Fantasy Woman", in two separate plays, as well as the "oblique seductress" a number of times.
- Was approached by Floria Sigismondi in 2000 to play Elizabeth Short, AKA, The Black Dahlia in the The Black Dahlia, before being asked again to read for Brian De Palma in 2005. Catherine was called back several times for the role and was one of the top choices, but did not end up doing it.
